Joy was awesome! The hospitality was amazing and room was clean. Fantastic stay. And great view for her homemade breakfast each morning. The inn is at the top of a giant hill overlooking Dresden.

The property is beautiful and the fact that we stayed in the estate Dave Longaberger built is very cool. But the property its self needs some love and upkeep. When we arrived and after checking in and after being shown our room we were informed that there was an issue with the A/C and it wasn’t functioning. Then we were told that they were in the process of switching out the room locks but our room doors weren’t able to be locked, but it was a very safe area and not a problem. No heads up for the issues going on or was a partial refund even offered. We had to go to the nearest Walmart to purchase a fan as the ceiling fan in our room also wasn’t functioning. Overall disappointed with our stay at The Inn of Dresden

Our innkeeper Joy was very pleasant. The Clubhouse room we had was a little musty, with no view, but the room was clean and the bed was very comfy. I booked it on Hotels.com. The mansion is beautiful inside, but the landscaping could use weeding and tree trimming. We had to leave very early at 6:30 am for a flight the next morning, but no grab n go breakfast like muffins or coffee was offered. Since other guests would get a full breakfast with their room, as long as they were there at 8:00 am, we felt a little cheated. Joy did not offer coffee even though she was awake when we left. I would recommend staying here, but get a room with a view and get your breakfast!

The Inn in Dresden is an amazingly beautiful mansion with an amazing view of the town of Dresden and surrounding area. The owner was very informative of the history of the Inn. The breakfast that the owner cooked was the best. The town of Dresden is very charming, the people working in the shops were very informative about the badket industry that was there. This is a great place for a quiet getaway. Beautiful country and wonderful people.
