Our stay was lovely. Check-in was easy, the cabin was very clean and cozy, and the area felt private regardless of neighbors. There was a fire pit with chairs, so we were able to sit out by the fire and enjoy the sunset with a gorgeous view of the lake. 10/10 :)

I LOVED Single island Shores. The people are so very friendly and if you needed anything they were there. The cabin was so clean and had everything you would need. Very quiet and a beautiful view of the lake. Loved sitting on the porch with a glass of wine. So peaceful. The hill is very steep but plenty of parking at the bottom so you don’t have to walk down and back up again. Did some fishing from the dock, didn’t catch anything but still enjoyed it. We will definitely be staying here again.

Excellent place for a couples or family stay. Cabins were great. Loved that you could go all the way down to the lake and sit on the dock to watch the sunset over the west shore. Will book again!

Rated in the upper view lake and it was so great. Amazing view of the lake! Cabins were very clean and very up to date. Property manager was extremely nice when checking in. I would definitely consider this a hidden gem!

Single Island Shores, never disappoints. The glamping cabins are beautiful—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each cabin has a firepit and gorgeous views of the lake, making it the perfect setting to unwind. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, ideal for soaking in nature, listening to the sounds of the woods, and stargazing at night. We can’t wait to come back again!

Stayed for two nights. The cabin was very clean and built with quality. The bed was very comfortable. My family had dinner down by the lake on patio furniture and got to watch a beautiful sunset. All the cabins were full all around us, but no noise issues and the people wee very friendly.

The cabins were very clean and seem to be new or recently renovated. The lake front is an added bonus. We enjoyed spending time on the porch. The property is close to a bunch of vineyards. It’s also convenient to Watkins Glen as well.

Overall it was a good experience. Note that the "Upper" cabins that say there is no "kitchen sink" means that there is no kitchen at all. It is like a hotel room; there is just a microwave and mini-fridge and coffee maker. Also, the cabins are set very close together - there is no feeling of wilderness. Also they don't clean at all during your stay. On the plus side it was clean and the bed very comfortable.

We only had a couple of days and stayed in a small cabin, but with more time, I would definitely return to this property. The cabins were cozy and clean; the view was gorgeous. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake while still being in close driving distance to bigger attractions.

The cabins are very clean! Our Lakeview cabin did not have much of a view of the lake- a couple of gaps between the trees. The coffee and condiments were not replenished and we ran out the second day. The crow cannons went off starting at 7am. The shower is very tight and the shower head was not convenient. It was definitely more rustic than we anticipated but a clean place to sleep.

Very clean and well maintained. The staff are great, very personable and attentive. The WiFi is not good. Even with full bars all of our devices were severely bogged down and constantly buffering. If it weren't for that, we would definitely give Single Island 5/5 stars.

Place was amazing. They made it so easy to check in and out, employees were kind, and they provided us with the “bible” that gave us some places to visit. Would definitely visit again. The only small complaint was the pillows were slightly uncomfortable, but nothing that would stop us from visiting or recommending to a friend.

We arrived the same day as a horrible storm. Upon arrival, the electricity went out. After calling the property manager we were told it was affecting the entire area. No lights, no AC, no stores or restaurants open, and no way to charge our devices. During the day, we could see how clean the cabin is and the bed was extremely comfortable. The other cabins are very close( reason why it’s 4, not 5 stars), so we heard all of our neighbors as everyone had their doors open. The cabin was one of the upper view cabins and the walk down to the lake is a hike (very steep, another reason for 4 stars). Much easier to drive down to the pier for a beautiful view. We went hiking at nearby Watkins Glen and drove to Ithica for restaurants. The property manager contacted us and we were given a discount off of the nightly rate for the two nights and a voucher for a $100 off our next stay, much appreciated! We realized that management cannot control the weather 😡 Overall, a beautiful area, very comfortable cabin. We would recommend

The 2 cabins we had were spotless, well appointed and had fantastic views. Location is on the lake and near many wineries, distilleries, shops and markets. Our only hiccup was that we checked in on Saturday and received multiple emails advising our check in needed to happen between 3:30 and 5pm. We planned our drive and activities accordingly, only to receive an email the morning of our check in advising we had been switched to self-check in and could access our cabins at 12:30pm. We wish that information had been provided to us before we began our travel---as we would've scheduled differently. However, as noted our accommodations were awesome so that was just a minor inconvenience.

The cabin was truly a luxury and truly a relaxing long weekend for us. Knowing we needed this getaway to escape stress, we are planning our next trip. Our experience the minute we checked in was beyond expectations. Ashley was amazing and recommended the best wineries and restaurants in the area. The area is absolutely beautiful.

This is my third time staying at this property, it is super convenient to access the wineries around Hector. It’s nice to drive down to the water and sit on the dock and watch sunset. The facilities are always very clean and well-kept, kitchen was fully stocked beds are very comfortable, this is my new go to place to stay on that side of Seneca lake.

Waking up to beautiful peaceful view of Lake Seneca. Enjoyed roasting marshmallows while viewing amazing sunsets. The location was very close to the state parks. Although this trip I wasn’t able to go to the wineries, they would be very accessible for future visits! Lovely property, highly recommend them!
Waking up to beautiful peaceful view of Lake Seneca. Enjoyed roasting marshmallows while viewing amazing sunsets. The location was very close to the state parks. Although this trip I wasn’t able to go to the wineries, they would be very accessible for future visits! Lovely property, highly recommend them!

We arrived the same day as a horrible storm. Upon arrival, the electricity went out. After calling the property manager we were told it was affecting the entire area. No lights, no AC, no stores or restaurants open, and no way to charge our devices. During the day, we could see how clean the cabin is and the bed was extremely comfortable. The other cabins are very close( reason why it’s 4, not 5 stars), so we heard all of our neighbors as everyone had their doors open. The cabin was one of the upper view cabins and the walk down to the lake is a hike (very steep, another reason for 4 stars). Much easier to drive down to the pier for a beautiful view. We went hiking at nearby Watkins Glen and drove to Ithica for restaurants. The property manager contacted us and we were given a discount off of the nightly rate for the two nights and a voucher for a $100 off our next stay, much appreciated! We realized that management cannot control the weather 😡 Overall, a beautiful area, very comfortable cabin. We would recommend

I LOVED Single island Shores. The people are so very friendly and if you needed anything they were there. The cabin was so clean and had everything you would need. Very quiet and a beautiful view of the lake. Loved sitting on the porch with a glass of wine. So peaceful. The hill is very steep but plenty of parking at the bottom so you don’t have to walk down and back up again. Did some fishing from the dock, didn’t catch anything but still enjoyed it. We will definitely be staying here again.

Cosy property in an idyllic location. Lodge was spacious even for a family of 4 and awesome views of the lake from the decking. Several vineyards and eateries within walking distance and a great deck on the lake itself to calmly watch the world go by. We accidentally missed check in hours, but the late check in instructions were clear and easy and we had no issues. Great stay and highly recommend.

If you are looking for a peaceful remote setting that is also close to hiking, restaurants, and wineries this is a great spot. Clean cabins with everything you need. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The only thing I would add is some sort of shade option on the dock area- possibly table umbrellas that could be put up on a few spots just for the option of shade. Loved this place!
