Jordan Hotel

this property is awesome! the ski in ski out access was great and the pool was amazing

This has been our favorite hotel of the Sunday River area. We went in August and they had the pool at probably 94F, easy to walk in and relax for a while. Each night they had a nice diy drink setup with instructions. Each night the outdoor fire place was going - one night was marshmallows to roast.. the other night full on smores. Internet was fast. The room clean and quiet. Beds were spring mattresses which were hard to get used to from home. Front desk guy was very friendly and helpful. Valet guy was very friendly and helpful. Definitely check out the restaurant at the golf course for dinner if the weather is nice.. it is close and has a great view. The sauna and steam room were fun for my kids to try. I think the biggest weakness is just that the hotel is far from food options in the summer. Not every restaurant is open in the summer, and it's a 20 minute drive to Bethel where there are a lot of options but tend to be more expensive. We are a pretty small family, but the restaurants around the area seem to fine with splitting entrees for us to save money and not waste food. Definitely check out the gem museum, in bethel, they have some of the world's largest collections of moon and Mars rocks.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the ski in ski out experience, the ice bar, and the heated outdoor pool.

We woke up to a beautiful foliage view. The room was nice, the beds comfortable and daily tidy service was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was a bit tight. The heated outdoor pool was a most delightful 84 degrees. The hot tub was 93 degrees and felt great. Unfortunately the step into the hot tub was about 1 1/2 feet deep and this made getting in and out extremely difficult. Luckily two gentleman guests assisted me and my husband. I’m use to an easy to step in hot tub. The pool area and workout areas were clean and there were lots of towels. At night chocolate, marshmallows & graham crackers were available for making s’mores at the outdoor fire pits. Also ingredients were available for making mocktails. Chocolate covered blueberries & apples were out all day to enjoy. These were very nice touches. The lobby had multiple comfy sitting areas and board games to enjoy.

I always love staying at the Jordan, we will definitely be back next season! Staff is always friendly and attentive, the pool and hot tubs are always at the perfect temp. The steam room was closed which was disappointing but none the less we loved our stay

Heated Hot Tub and Heated Pool

The restaurant Sliders in the hotel has fantastic dinner! Right outside there is a beer trailer, gluten free trailer with many options for food (even if you aren't gluten free it is wonderful food), a waffles trailer. It is a quieter side of the mountain with direct access to the newer lift. The heated outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs were an added bonus. A lower key side of Sunday River. Which was fantastic!

An amazing place with gorgeous views. Staff was very helpful and nice. Thoughtful details all around the hotel. A lot of fun activitys for kids and adults. Unforgettable hiking paths that start from the territory of the hotel and a relaxing heated pool. We we're amazed by the evening mocktails provided by the hotel. We loved it there so much we extended our stay for a extra night. Thanks

This place is very clean with really good staff. East facing Hotel rooms have amazing views. They have pretty huge pool and jacuzzi. Dinning options near hotel are quite less so plan accordingly

We did not have a wonderful experience here. The room was not very clean, including a large sticky spot on the carpet, broken furnishings, cobwebs, and hair in the bathroom when we arrived. It was overall a very dated and not well-maintained room.The Northern Lights Cafe was the only on-site dining available and was very disappointing- we only made that mistake once. We also had to ask multiple times to try to get hot water to our room, which was never fully resolved. Over the course of four days, we never had a complete day with hot water. There are some nice aspects of the hotel, including nightly make-your-own-smores, some fun family games set up in common areas, a nice-looking reception area, and a heated pool. We really enjoyed the area surrounding the hotel for hiking and being outdoors. The people were mostly friendly and tried to be helpful, especially Emmit from maintenance. I wish we could say we loved it, but in the words of my teenager- we just had to stick it out and get through it.

We had a great stay at the Jordan. Had an excellent room rate that contributed to us enjoying our stay. Room was clean, bed comfortable. The bathroom walls in our room were messed up. It looked like they removed wall paper but didn’t remove the glue before they painted the walls. They should fix this as it looks bad for a higher end hotel. The newly renovated lobby was welcoming. Also offered bag storage before we could check-in and after we checked-out which was super convenient. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub. Ski check service was fantastic. On-site restaurant had great ambience for evening dinner and food was good. Big portions. Would definitely stay here again. 4x4 is a must if there is snow!

Knowing the location of where everything in the hotel is could be improved. If your reservation doesn't include the breakfast buffet, plan on getting breakfast on the mountain. Beautiful initial impression. Friendly staff hands done including Jay whom I felt was very attentive and thoughtful. The hotel was beautiful inside also with cool artwork, nice fireplace, and pleanty of seating areas. There was a ski/ board check and ski on / off option that was awesome. The room was good for some down time and sleeping to be ready for the slopes the next day. I would have like the bathroom to be updated and the window in our room was broken ( wood rotting below the handle). Carpets in the halls were a bit worn and old, but overall I would say they keep things clean. My biggest thought about our experience was that besides the pool and work out area- there was nothing to do if you have younger kids such as a game room. I did not see much to entertain in the common areas. No games to borrow or books. Gift shops seems to sell them, so maybe that's why they don't have anything in the open. So bring your own down time games and entertainment. I liked having a stove and a sink. We made lunches and breakfast ourselves. Saved money and saved time. The Jordan is far away from night life and other resort features such as winter sports stores or music/ activities. They have free shuttles though that run till 11 so you can go to some of the other bars/ restraunts without driving, but the Shipyard Brew Haus near the Grand Summit is about 20 minutes away I would go back, just a little better prepared next time.

We liked that this hotel was slope side, but the green trail (Lollapalooza) leading to this hotel was a bit more challenging than an average green trail (the top part). The hotel lobby was beautifully renovated, but the rooms were not. The shower curtains in our hotel room needed to be changed out as its seen better days. My daughter loved the outdoor heated pool. We would stay here again.

Overall a nice stay. It’s a lovely location, the staff are kind and attentive and there are some cute options within the hotel. The challenges were that the rooms need some updating, particularly the beds and the internet, it’s spotty at best. Also, for well over $200/night to still charge $25 for what is frankly a mediocre buffet seems a bit excessive. Luckily, there are much better food options in the area. Would I stay again? Probably, but not for the rate they charged. Would I get the buffet breakfast? No.

Jordan House is a nice hotel with great lobby and nice rooms; however, the view from our balcony was ugly. We would have asked to switch rooms if we had stayed longer.

The room was large, clean and quiet. It was nice. Yet I guess I should have looked at reviews before I booked the hotel. Reviews show that the staff are rude. We felt that to be the case with the person checking us in on 9/27/25. He was condescending when we decided to remove bottled water from our snacks (Too late to have dinner). $45+ for crackers, cheese and two bottles of water. He did state that their tap water was safe to drink (in a tone like we were lower class visitors). One bad apple can spoil the bunch. I do not know if breakfast not being included was just because we got the room through Expedia. I did see before writing this that Breakfast was available (Not for all customers.) They did have $16 breakfast sandwiches available though. (Pass). I understand that kitchens are not always open. Many places recognize this by having fruit, cookies, muffins out for late arriving guests. They had Smore kits, but they were gone by the time we returned from putting our suitcase in our room. Wondering if that had something to do with our purchase of only crackers and cheese...

Great property with lots of nice amenities but it’s time for an update, the rooms are looking tired. Also parking situation is horrible, nothing available in front of the hotel, we had to walk 10 minutes to get our car and it was 0 degrees/snowing out

From the pleasant greeting to checking out, staff was the best. I spoke to them about the lack of hot water, and it was fixed in a timely fashion.

Didn't really care for the nickel and diming every little thing. You gotta rent the pack and play. Beautiful area. They had some hiking trails right around the back. We came here for the leaves - not so much the skiing. Felt like driving up to the Stanley Hotel

Very convenient with ski in/out. It would be nice to have more dining options to be able to enjoy with kids that easier and more affordable. The kids loved the heated pool.

Great ski in ski out hotel. Could use an additional restaurant for variety. Staff extremely friendly. Constant cleaning happening. Activities to keep kids engaged. Be careful which rooms you book as there is so much variety.

The hotel is in a beautiful spot with views of mountains all around. This is basically a ski spot and we were there in the summer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Th pool is way too warm maybe for the ski crowd but not for hot summer days. We sampled only one meal, the. Breakfast buffet. It was poor to mediocre. Really disappointing for this quality hotel. There are some excellent eateries nearby, cheaper and better food.

Loved the common areas - clearly had been renovated recently and was very nice! The rooms are quite dated but not bad. The food options though weren’t great at the Jordan - the sliders restaurant was mediocre and quite expensive. And the cafe didn’t have many options if you didn’t want to do the pricey breakfast buffet. The front desk staff were very nice and attentive, but definitely caught a strange vibe from many of the other staff…. But overall a nice place to stay! Loved the Jordan 8 lift!

Had multiple issues which we never resolved. Hotel was selected bc of balcony, restaurant and bar. Our room did not have a balcony,(our 2nd room) bar and restaurant are only open during ski season. Limited cafe open until 7 pm, although we checked in at 6 pm and were told no food available. Instead handed a pizza delivery menu.

We are NOT skiers. This was just a girls night away. On the ride up the mountain to the hotel, I was thinking about how I would navigate this road in the dark having to leave for dinner/food! The hotel was beautiful! Fire pit going outside as you enter to check in was a nice touch. Check in was easy and I asked about food on premise. Was pleasantly surprised there was an Italian Restaurant, Sliders, right there. We did not have to leave the hotel at all. Heated outdoor pool was fantastic! A sit in the sauna after the pool was fantastic! View of the mountain from our room was awesome. I cannot rave enough about our dinner at Sliders! The table service cheese wheel…the only one in Maine that I know of! Wow! Absolutely delicious. My BFF and I are already talking about going back in the fall. I will definitely be going back!
