Hotel in nice area with easy access and parking. Room was plenty spacious and beds were comfortable. Hotel Staff were sparse and not very friendly. Breakfast was very basic and not at all tasty. Some Breakfast Items with posted signs were just not there and I hardly saw a staff member to ask anything until we were basically finished with breakfast.

Staff was nice, parking lot limited especially in the evenings, lots of restaurants near by, hotel was clean and inviting. The only problem was our room was right beside the main interstate and the pool. It was so noisy and we did not get any sleep that night. If I had known, I would have asked for the rooms closer to the front of the hotel but I’m not sure if that would have made a big difference.

I was looking for a place for my children to swim for spring break. This was the 4th hotel that day i tried. I was told the over the phone that it was a inside pool. Got to hotel and it was a outside pool. While at hotel was told that pool was heated. Got in pool and it was cold. I ordered i suite and to sleep up to 4 guests. Got in such room and it wasn't a suite. A conjoined room without a let out bed. My children and i had to sleep on floor. It was only 4 of us. I was very disappointed and so where my children.

Yes, the hotel looks new but it's cheap construction.. you can literally hear those above you walking around their room and we needed a room change because we had jumpy children up above. The breakfast is below average, please sort out that Waffle mix.. it's so bland I saw many people like me, we threw the waffle away because there was no sweetness and it's soggy. Room was ok but we had ants in our bathtub which we showed the frontdesk and had to have another room change..

We were just in town for one night and the hotel was good for a quick stay. The lobby and all common areas were clean and updated. The check-in process was quick and the staff friendly. The room was mostly nice overall. It was noticeably dirty around the edges of the floor in the bathroom and there were crumbs in the corner of the room near one of the beds. The beds were not very comfortable at all. Given the price, I expected higher standards than that. So, it’s was good for a quick stay but we wouldn’t stay longer than one night if we return to Birmingham.

The lobby and waiting area looked nice like it had been refurbished. Then we get to our room on the second floor. The bathtub had mold on the outside on the sides and in the corners. The bathtub also had horrible stains inside. The beds were absolutely horrible. It was like sleeping on the floor. I visit Birmingham every three months and switched to this place because the Marriot Springhill Suites was worse than this on. Not returning to a Marriot!

Hotel was convenient to dining and shopping and overall very clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with noisy neighbors and our in room phone did not work. After 1.5 hours and 2 calls to the front desk our neighbors finally quieted down. Breakfast was mediocre but we discovered the waffle mix was spoiled and soured after we made waffles. There was no one downstairs to report to so I don't know if they ever realized it was bad. We ending up grabbing something at Edgar's bakery which is the shopping center very close and it was delicious.

We really enjoyed the hotel! The breakfast was beyond a typical hotel breakfast! The attendant, Megan was so helpful and accommodating and nice to chat with! She was doing a great job keeping the trays full and area clean! Highly recommend this place!

The hotel is beautiful, the bed comfortable, and check-in was a breeze. The unhappiness came the next morning. Although check-out was at noon, housekeeping was knocking on the door at 930am. Very annoying. A little before 11am, I took some bags to my car and went back to the room for the rest but my keys no longer worked. So, I had to return to the front desk for a new key. Less than two minutes later, I am back at the front desk dropping off the key and the clerk asks me which room. Really? She had just activated the key not two minutes before. Regardless of how nice a room is, poor customer service will have me looking for a different hotel the next time I am in town.

This location is a bit out of the way (6 miles) from I-65, but so worth the extra few minutes. It is a safe and pretty area, in a corporate business district. This location has lots of dining and shopping choices. The staff were all very nice and personable. The rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. The included breakfast was better than a typical continental breakfast. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The hotel was really close driving distance to two different shopping plazas. One had a Publix and the other had several restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was good. I would have like a plant-based milk option though and fruit. There was fruit juice. I bought some coconut milk at Publix and put it in the mini fridge. The fridge was too cold and froze it! Lol. I realized after that I could adjust the temp. They had booth seating but the table part was high to the seats so I felt like a little kid. Lol. And one booth table was crooked. Looked like it was about to fall. I sat at a freestanding table on another day and that table to chair ratio was better. There were some noisy guests in another room. Their TV was loud. But other than that it was quiet. I loved the bathroom. It had a tub, yay! And the toilet had a half wall next to it which offered some small privacy for double occupancy. All in all, it was nice and convenient. I would stay there again.

The hotel was located about a mile from Grand View Medical Center which was very convenient for me. There is a shopping center across the street with various restaurants. The area is safe/quiet.
