Location was a pretty easy walk to campus and restaurants. Suite was large and comfortable. Kids loved the game room with pool table, shuffle board, and board games. Parents loved the bar. Gym had plenty of options. Breakfast was better than usual for this level of hotel. Check-in was a bit slow, but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was great, staff was great. Only one elevator working on NYE and a fully booked hotel plus Parking was full were the drawbacks, but it was NYE. Although we had a space earlier, lost it when we went to visit someone at the hospital. Worked out fine ultimately though as we were able to use the retail spaces within the same garage for a reasonable rate but the fact that the hotel cannot accommodate all guests when full sort of put me off.

The hotel shares parking, this was confusing at 1st but after a couple of trips in and out I was able to park with the elevator close by. The elevator needs better signage. Elevators need the word ELEVATOR painted on the outside back wall in bold letters

The rooms were clean. The kids enjoyed the game room area. And the fire pit was perfect!!! (They roasted marshmallows) I am a local and I will definitely recommend this place!! The food was good too!

This hotel was very cute and the perfect location for the new Akins ford arena! Great rooftop area was perfect for the girls “photo ops”! The only thing we encountered was a stain on one of the sheets that we just threw off the bed!

Not only am I an Hilton honors member. I find it very inconvenient and distasteful that this particular Hilton make their guest fund their own parking, valet parking at that, because they don’t have anywhere for their guest to park. That should be optional !!!!

This is our third time staying at Homewood Suites by Hilton at this location. We choose this place because of its convenience to downtown. The rooms are always spotless, and clean. There is coffee brew all day complimentary in the lobby, and a breakfast buffet in the mornings. :) We look forward to coming back again soon.

Stayed there 7/28 for one night. Property is new and looks good. Wasn’t excited about having to pay $18 for parking. Other cons: pair of men’s underwear was on floor in bathroom - in all fairness they were on floor in about a 4” gap between side wall of bathroom and end of vanity, had to call for pull out couch bedding more than once and then 10 mins after it came, the same guy showed up with bedding again. Pros: breakfast was really good: real eggs (not the fake kind a lot of hotels have), sausage was very good (some kind of kielbasa - not the over salted garbage patties most hotels put out), and parking was comp’d upon showing front desk person pictures of aforementioned men’s underwear on floor in bathroom. Another pro was the location - right on edge of downtown.

Both beds (king and sleeper sofa) caved towards the center of the bed. Breakfast was subpar. There was a large group of kids from a chorus group that took over the hotel half of our stay: loud, running through the halls, holding up the elevators, couldnt hangout in the bar because it was full of kids. No luggage carts when we left. Had to tote all Our stuff in 2 trips to the parking garage. Have had better experiences at other Homewood Suites.

Great location with easy access to UGA and downtown Athens. The bed was a little firmer than I would have chosen personally, however it was reasonable as a choice for general use. Initial check-in had a hiccup as the rooms had not been checked off as cleaned or not, so there was some delay in being able to access my room. The staff was very accommodating and held my bags at the desk while I went to dinner. Once I returned, everything was ready.

It was AWESOME! The room was amazing! Very comfortable it was like having a studio of one bedroom apartment. The staff very friendly! The hotel looks fairly brand new. The breakfast had everything. The coffee was very good and rhey keep it fresh.

It was our first time booking with Homewood Suites. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel, really nice facility good breakfast. A few things to note. The water was cold and the pressure low. It took a long time to warm up and it was luke warm at best. Secondly change the shower tub combo to a shower. The tub was high and slippery. You had to exercise caution getting in and out .

I tried to check-in at the appropriate time (4pm) to go to my sons 5pm graduation service. My room was not ready until 4:50!!! I asked to see the manager and he wouldn't come out of his office. Another lady went through the exact same thing....I felt sorryforthe young lady at the front desk. Fortunately the sevices were almost nextdoor but it was not a good start for my stay to say the least. The manager should have at least addressed the situation. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

This property was very convenient to downtown. It was clean and pleasant with a fun game room. However it appeared to be understaffed and did not anticipate the traffic of a marathon. We could not check in until close to 530. (We were there just waited in the lobby for a room to be available. ). However when we asked for a late check out that was not an option.

Girl at front desk said about 2 words and seemed irritated with me. Didn’t take my ID or anything- just handed me the key after removing her legs from the desk and verifying last 4 of my cc. Not a typical “Hilton” experience.

Valet staff were very friendly and front desk staff were excellent. The room was perfect. Facility is very close to the classic center which was very convenient. It was a short walk to the classic center and restaurants.

Great place/location/breakfast/staff. I added nights with a queen bed. I was in a king bed room and they upgraded me so I could just stay in the same room. Breakfast changes every morning. And the food/selection is great! They valet park your car. Suites are a nice size with a full kitchen. Easy walk to UGA and downtown.
