Sandcastle Cove

The resort was awesome! We only wished we were staying longer. The beds were firm but comfortable.

The night we arrived the lock on the condo didn't work so we had to wait for security to let us in. Maintenance came the next day to fix the lock and said all was good. We realized the next day that the door wasn't locking at all. Maintenance came again and tried to fix it. It worked once and again we had to wait outside in 90 degree heat waiting to be let in. In the condo there was only 2 spoons and 1 fork for us to use, we had to go buy silverware. The kitchen floor was not cleaned well. Cigarette/cigar butts on the balcony and in the screened in porch. During actual check in the associates had little personality other than the Manager, she seemed concerned but admitted they do not get much funding to fix issues.

Pleasant unit and complex. Nice walk around lake. Rec center pool enjoyable Minor and moderate problems. 1of 2 major windows opaque Took a day to get sink disposal repaired. 2 of 4 days no WiFi. No coffee filters nor salt and pepper. Jetted tub could not be filled above jets with hot water -ran out

Needs to be up graded …

travelled alone. room was clean. icemaker not working. toilet running water. issue with room keys. bugs. left 2 days early. trying to get refund for early checkout. no response from hotel.
