The room were clean. The only problems was that the other guests were keeping up nose and smoking what smell like weed in the breeze way. Also, the breakfast buffet was not appealing.

This is our second time staying at the Village Inn. Our room this time was in a much more updated state than our previous one. All the lights were bright and working, the furniture and fixtures seemed newer and in much better condition, and the bathroom had a working exhaust fan. Staff has always been professional and friendly. We've never had an issue, but anytime we had questions they've always been responsive and helpful. The exteriors such as the parking lot and walkways are always clean. We only did their breakfast once and although it's not an extravagant spread, it's perfect for a quick bite before heading out for the day. It's also conveniently located to Brookshires, and a number of neighborhood places to eat. If I could make some suggestions for improvements, it would be to change out some of the linens, especially the ones that have rips, tears and/or stains and discolorations. And provide adequate sized pillows for the size bed (i.e. king sized pillows for king sized beds, and queen sized pillows for queen sized beds). It would just make things a little more polished. Otherwise I think they do a great job, especially for the location.

Staff was OK. Room was very clean. The breakfast was quite limited. If your only concern is a very clean room and little else. This one fits the bill.
