Before arriving, we called the hotel from the airport to ask if we could leave our bags and get changed before check-in, and the staff confirmed that we could. Based on that, we took the shuttle bus to the hotel. However, when we arrived, we were told to get changed in the public bathrooms, which hadn’t even been cleaned from the previous night. There were towels all over the floor, toilet rolls everywhere, and it was completely unsuitable. When we asked if there was somewhere else we could get changed, we were offered the laundry room instead, which was cluttered, messy, and full of equipment. As this wasn’t what we’d been told over the phone, we decided to return to the airport. We were then informed that this return journey would count as our second and final shuttle ride, meaning we wouldn’t be able to use the shuttle the following morning. Had we known the hotel couldn’t actually provide a suitable place to get changed, we would never have wasted over an hour travelling there and back. We ended up paying for an Uber back to the airport, where we were able to leave our bags anyway – something we could have done from the start. When we returned to the hotel that evening, the room was basic but acceptable. However, the bathrooms were not particularly clean. We left the next morning at 5 a.m. using the shuttle bus. A much more accurate explanation over the phone would have saved us a lot of time, money, and frustration.

Long walk from T4 to T5 to find the hotel minivan, after seing no signs to the shuttle buses at T4. Had to ask 4 taxi drivers where to go before I found one that knew. Didn't notice when I booked that there was no bathroom or any kind of water in the room. Nice short distance from airport. Helpful staff. Didn't receive the email with the room number and door code on the travel day as I was informed, but the front desk staff helped me to get in.
