Had problems checking in, no staff at desk and I had to walk around to find her. First room hadn't been cleaning and smelled of smoke. It was suppose to be a smoke free hotel. Finally got a new room. Breakfast was good. Area was convenient to walk around and see the sites.

The room was clean and spacious. The ad for this room incorrectly stated that the hotel was situated in an area with free on street parking but this is not correct and I ended up paying additional parking charges despite booking a property I believed had parking included. That’s quite poor for hotels.com Additionally. The WiFi did not work, which was very disappointing as I specifically booked a room with WiFi so I could work. I did advise the hotel but they could not help. Again I paid for these amenities to be available to me but neither were

Air conditioning not working, day staff fully understand our issue but English becomes a problem if complaining, however night staff was very helpful and provided a fan, not perfect but a great help

Excellent hotel, great price, brilliant staff. Pretty much in the centered and only 10 min from the ferry port to Uk. Very clean and well maintained.
