stayed in one of the remodelled rooms, clean and decent condition. However, the floor vibrates a lot, if you’re sensitive to sounds I would not recommend. There’s a lot of parking spaces.

This hotel is decent, would consider staying here again. Walls were clean and looked new. Furniture and bed seem well cared for. Bed was comfortable and not saggy. My main gripe is that the in-room air conditioners are very underpowered. Had a maintenance guy come check our A/C out after we got our room assignment. He said the unit was functioning normally and made sure it was set to max power for us but it still took 3 hours for the quiet but puny A/C unit to cool our hot room down to an acceptable temperature. The quality of the tiny soap and shampoo they provide sucks, recommend bringing your own. Doors could use more soundproofing. WiFi speed around 10 Mbps, mostly stable with occasional hiccups. In-room TV supports Chromecast. Shower walls and curtain look new or clean but the tub itself looks old. Water temperature is good, shower pressure is not great but is acceptable. No problems parking, the gated overflow lot across the street has plenty of parking spots even late at night. The pool is in an enclosed 2nd floor courtyard. It’s clean and the depth ranges from 3.5 feet in the shallow end to 8.5 feet in the deep end. Sunbathing deck chairs around it. On the ground floor there is a coffee shop that has coffee, flavored lemonades, boba tea, a few pastries, some bottled juice and yogurts, but no “real food.” Next to the coffee shop there is a spacious and comfortable seating area with tables.

Room was clean, updated nicely with nice bed and comfy carpet. Staff was great during check in and check out. Area is a little scary but it’s LA do to be expected, inside the hotel felt safe. The only real complaint is the elevator being old, but overall experience was good. I will be back for future stays

The location was convenient for me as I wanted to go to Crypto Arena for a concert. The parking was a plus but it cost 15 dollars daily and they may run out of parking near the building but you can park across the street in a gated plaza. The area is probably n out in their control but it does feel a little dirty and there are some people who are homeless around. For someone not from LA, this made me feel unsafe. Overall the room felt very nice, the safe was very nice and helpful at all times. It’s nice to also have coffee downstairs in the morning.

I got the room with kitchen and king bed it was perfect had fridge microwave coffee maker all i needed was toaster....place was clean Had pool ..laundry and cafe in lobby The only thing its just not in best area for walking

It was Overall a good stay. Only complaint really was parking. I paid for parking but since a party was going on I wasn’t able to park until 11pm. Very inconvenient with small babies walking down the dark street. I had to find a street parking.

Hotel itself was fine. Area around the hotel was somewhat sketchy. What I really don’t like is the lack of an actual front desk person, you are often speaking to a remote person on a kiosk. Would not stay here again for this reason alone.

Really appreciate the convenience of this hotel to downtown Los Angeles (less than 10 minutes by car in the morning), and the nearby restaurants are great. If you love Mexican Food, don't miss The Rodeo restaurant less than a block away. Check-in at this hotel is fast and convenient. Cleanliness is A++++. The little TomTom restaurant is great for a little breakfast and a hot Latte in the morning.

The room was not clean and even got moved to a new remodeled room and it too was not clean, I took a rag to the table and the counters and the rag came back dirty, not happy with the service at all

[Overview] The hotel has undergone a transformation from "Ramada" to "The Live." However, in my opinion, the facility resembles more of a "motel" rather than a hotel. The parking space was adequate but limited. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, despite booking a suite with the expectation of better quality, I found myself wanting to leave as soon as I entered the room. [Cleanliness] (Odor) Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed a lingering food odor. I attempted to mask the smell by spraying my cologne and adjusting the air conditioning, but it didn't provide much relief. I reached out to the front desk and requested something like Febreeze. A janitor was sent to address the issue, but the spray used on the carpet didn't effectively eliminate the odor. (Furniture) Perhaps due to the persistent smell, I noticed stains on the couch, which deterred me from using it altogether. I strongly recommend that the hotel invest in protective covers for their furniture and replace them regularly. (Lighting) It was evident that the hotel attempted to cut costs with the lighting. The color of the left and right lamps differed, with one emitting white fluorescent light and the other casting an orange hue. Our room was recently renovated. Lots of space, a very comfy bed, beautiful bathroom. The room was very clean. Fairly quiet. The breakfast spot inside is not included, but so good! Definitely recommend the breakfast sandwich. The lobby is clean and has a nice feel to it. Staff was friendly. Downsides were: the blinds aren’t really blackout, despite being newly renovated the AC in the room was really loud…we did not have a great nights sleep. The pool area was a little dingy. *We checked in using a kiosk (with a video chat front desk attendant). It was a smooth check in but we would have preferred to check in with one of the other two front desk personnel who were available. Just personal preference though! Overall it was a great stay!

The stay was exactly what I needed for my conference, as it was 10 minutes away. But there was no dresser to unpack clothes and such. And it was very noisy being so close to the city, not to mention the A/C unit made bothersome sound. Bedsheets were comfortable, except for when I found stray hairs and dust in them. The stay was exactly what I needed for my conference, as it was 10 minutes away. But there was no dresser to unpack clothes and such. And it was very noisy being so close to the city, not to mention the A/C unit made bothersome sound. Bedsheets were comfortable, except for when I found stray hairs and dust in them. Other than that it was fine.

Clean, no nonsense place to stay. Delivered what was expected. No frills, but that was fine for our stay and needs. Just as other reviewers mentioned, the walls and door are paper-thin so you can hear everything, even some street activity. We slept fine though doors, some music and a little late night return of a family upstairs woke us.

I'm not sure if the owners of this hotel have in their home, the same bed and pillows, in which are provided to guests at this hotel? The beds were both like sleeping on concrete! They were terrible! And the pillows were the most uncomfortable pillows i have ever encountered. Called down to front desk to see about getting another pillow, which they said they had one left. When i went down to get it, I was given the same type of pillow with no pillowcase on it, just the terrible pillow! The tile on the floor in the sink area in the bathroom were not affixed to the floor and were loose, the fridge in the room upon arrival didn't work, however was changed out. The area around the hotel had a lot of homeless people and a lot of trash debris on that street. The pool area looked very refreshing, however closed way too early! So, by the time we got back each day it was to late to enjoy it. Hotel was very quiet, I never seen another person on our floor as far as another guest. Front desk clerk upon arrival did wave the fee for early arrival which was quite nice. They do charge for parking, which if you go is a must if you have a car?. Cost is 15.00 dollars a day. Coffee and light snack restaurant provided in lobby, not complimentary you must pay. If you enjoy sleeping on concrete at night? Like the flinstones cartoon, then this is the perfect place for you.

We found the pillows in the room to be extremely uncomfortable and did not like that there wasn’t a mini fridge available. The noise from other guests (literal screaming music at 2:30 AM) made it very hard to sleep. Overall the staff were really pleasant though.

We had a horrible experience at a hotel in Orlando, every hotel thereafter has to meet my son’s approval. He says the minute you walk into the lobby that’s how you know the stay will be. The Live Hotel was great. Salvador was the most amazing front desk clerk. He very polite, answered all my questions. The room: bed was comfortable, it was a remodel and it was very nice. The bathroom was my only concern would be that the tub needs some type of handrail just incase someone slips. There should be some type of slip resistant grid in the tub. There was a microwave, refrigerator, coffee set up with pot, TV, A/C, patio. They do have a pool but I didn't have an opportunity to go see it. Overall my experience was great!😃 I recommend this hotel to everyone. I will be back!!🤗

First of let me say HANDS DOWN MAJOR KUDOS TO DAVID. My original stay was at the Rodeway inn across the street. It was an absolute nightmare and I did not feel safe or comfortable there property and units in port condition. I ran across the street encountered David and made sure they had rooms available before I canceled rodeway inn and brought my stuff over. He is absolutely professional, courteous, very well organized and managed and excellent excellent excellent service. Made my stay feel like I was at a 5 star hotel the level of service he provided. He had answers for everything, very knowledge and helpful during my 9 day stay at the property. He even gave me a tour of the rooms before I went to book there to put my mind at ease from the experience I was having across the street. True gentleman and cares for the needs of the guests. One of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in years and I’ve stayed at larger chain properties 4star and up and his level of service meets that of a 5 star hotel.

Hotel itself was fine. Area around the hotel was somewhat sketchy. What I really don’t like is the lack of an actual front desk person, you are often speaking to a remote person on a kiosk. Would not stay here again for this reason alone.

I'm actually a bit frustrated cause when I booked the hotel it was advertised as breakfast was free but when we got there breakfast was no longer included. Our AC unit also was super loud but I didn't make a huge complaint at the hotel since they were booked completely. I also wasn't happy with the customer service desk because when we 1st arrived to check in, I was given attitude and told to use the kiosk instead of her because she was "busy" (she hasn't doing anything). The 5 days we were there, we were never once greeted by a person from the customer service desk so the hospitality was horrible, IMO. It was hard to get our luggage up the small elevator and their luggage carts barely fit; one was practically broken and unstable. For the $1,200+ we paid, I felt like it was an average to a below average experience. We won't be staying there again as this experience was worse than the last time we visited. Our positives: parking is $15 a night either under cover if there's a spot or outside in a locked parking lot, the hotel was pretty quiet at night, the cleaning ladies were super friendly and always left our room super clean.

The location was convenient for me as I wanted to go to Crypto Arena for a concert. The parking was a plus but it cost 15 dollars daily and they may run out of parking near the building but you can park across the street in a gated plaza. The area is probably n out in their control but it does feel a little dirty and there are some people who are homeless around. For someone not from LA, this made me feel unsafe. Overall the room felt very nice, the safe was very nice and helpful at all times. It’s nice to also have coffee downstairs in the morning.

Room is not big, but very clean. People staying there seem decent. It is convenient to have onsite parking, even with a fee. Area around the hotel seems a little sketchy, but it is quite understandable since it is close to downtown. On the other hand, because of its central location, it is about 15-20 min to anywhere, which is quite nice.

We stayed here during USC move in week. Was 10-15min to campus depending on the traffic. Will stay here again next time we go to visit. KTown and DTLA are both super close as well. The attached parking garage is very convenient. The area around the hotel looks a little sketchy at night but inside the hotel is fine.

The hotel itself was wonderful. There was always parkign available. Checking in and out was simple. Finding our room was easy. My only issue was the area. Homeless encampments near by. Not exactly something they can control. That's fine. The hotel itself and its staff were wonderful.

Everything about the attention from the staff and the room cleanest was good the only thing that take out points from the hotel is the area is really sad full of homeless people, dirty streets and the parking space is not enough on the property but they have another lot across the Street but you sleep thinking if your vehicle is going to be ok the next day.

This hotel is decent, would consider staying here again. Walls were clean and looked new. Furniture and bed seem well cared for. Bed was comfortable and not saggy. My main gripe is that the in-room air conditioners are very underpowered. Had a maintenance guy come check our A/C out after we got our room assignment. He said the unit was functioning normally and made sure it was set to max power for us but it still took 3 hours for the quiet but puny A/C unit to cool our hot room down to an acceptable temperature. The quality of the tiny soap and shampoo they provide sucks, recommend bringing your own. Doors could use more soundproofing. WiFi speed around 10 Mbps, mostly stable with occasional hiccups. In-room TV supports Chromecast. Shower walls and curtain look new or clean but the tub itself looks old. Water temperature is good, shower pressure is not great but is acceptable. No problems parking, the gated overflow lot across the street has plenty of parking spots even late at night. The pool is in an enclosed 2nd floor courtyard. It’s clean and the depth ranges from 3.5 feet in the shallow end to 8.5 feet in the deep end. Sunbathing deck chairs around it. On the ground floor there is a coffee shop that has coffee, flavored lemonades, boba tea, a few pastries, some bottled juice and yogurts, but no “real food.” Next to the coffee shop there is a spacious and comfortable seating area with tables.

Really appreciate the convenience of this hotel to downtown Los Angeles (less than 10 minutes by car in the morning), and the nearby restaurants are great. If you love Mexican Food, don't miss The Rodeo restaurant less than a block away. Check-in at this hotel is fast and convenient. Cleanliness is A++++. The little TomTom restaurant is great for a little breakfast and a hot Latte in the morning.
Really appreciate the convenience of this hotel to downtown Los Angeles (less than 10 minutes by car in the morning), and the nearby restaurants are great. Our room was recently renovated. Lots of space, a very comfy bed, beautiful bathroom. The room was very clean. Fairly quiet. The breakfast spot inside is not included, but so good! Definitely recommend the breakfast sandwich. The lobby is clean and has a nice feel to it. Staff was friendly. Downsides were: the blinds aren’t really blackout, despite being newly renovated the AC in the room was really loud…we did not have a great nights sleep. The pool area was a little dingy. *We checked in using a kiosk (with a video chat front desk attendant). It was a smooth check in but we would have preferred to check in with one of the other two front desk personnel who were available. Just personal preference though! Overall it was a great stay!

Overall, we liked the property. It was clean, the staff friendly, and it was conveniently located for where we were going downtown. It's not the best part of town; we walked back from downtown and probably we wouldn't do that again. It was disappointed that the breakfast - which goes from 7:00 till 9:30 - was out of almost everything when we arrived at 8:45. It was honestly one of the reasons we chose this property; you'd think they would have enough for everyone that is staying there at any given time, right?

It was disappointed that the breakfast - which goes from 7:00 till 9:30 - was out of almost everything when we arrived at 8:45. It was honestly one of the reasons we chose this property; you'd think they would have enough for everyone that is staying there at any given time, right?

Everything is good, not great like a luxury hotel. But all good, photos are not exactly the same, probably renders or IA... but overall it was a good stay, we mostly moved in uber because the parking situation in LA. The hotel has a parking option which is convenient around 16 dlls a day. The staff is helpful, the room was very clean, and you can notice they are working/renewing the hotel.

Uncomfortable beds, weird half size pillows that were lumpy and uncomfortable. Lots of stains on the carpets in the hallways. The layout was hard to find your way around. Coffee shop is expensive and there was no breakfast provided.

Probably the worst place I’ve stayed at in LA haha; the room was so dirty and there were random nasty stains in the bed and on furniture! Right outside our window there was a bunch of people sleeping in the street and it smelled like pee from our window. There was no useful amenities and I have technically no opinion on staff because there was just a computer with a live cam of someone at their house helping people out. There IS no breakfast here theres just some cafe on the same floor as the lobby and it looks okay. The parking is alright you just gotta get there early and not leave late or you’ll have to park outside across the street in a “gated” area, mind you, where anyone can go inside. They say it’s secured but it’s not. The pedestrian door is always open so anyone can enter the garage it’s just that any car can’t come in. When I was there some kids had gotten in the parking area and were doing wheelies with their bikes. Terrible experience but I suppose you get what you pay for because their rooms aren’t that expensive but if you can book elsewhere I’d suggest that you do.

Positive: I stay there for one night, from 9/7/8. Exteriors were nice and clean, interior was nice and clean. Staff were amazing. The self check in was great. Check out staff were nice as well I have zero complaints. Room was small but I didn’t mind as I was there for one night just to sleep really. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Negative: The mini split was cooling very little. And common area cleaners were vacuuming near my room around 7am. So they woke me up a little earlier that I wish to. My room was 208. But I still recommend this hotel near crypto only a 5 minute drive and 18 minutes walking that I wouldn’t recommend walking. Other than that I rate this hotel a 5. Thank you,
