Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Northwest/Veterans Expressway

Decent property, nice overall but they have what seems to be an ongoing fire alarm issue with their cantina / hotel kitchen that causes the fire alarm to go off around 4 in the morning. A member of staff admitted the event was not the first time.

Room was large and comfortable. Limited staff…and elevator was out of service and appeared it had been out of service a while.

Breakfast was not included here. Good hotel overall, but a little short on parking spaces.

Great hotel very clean and upscale. Only complaint is the fire pit was not working outside. Other than that lovely hotel! Would come back!!

During my visit, the pool was out of service (4 days) and the surrounding area was unkempt. The room had a strong moldy odor. I've booked several times at this location since it opened, and its condition has started to decline. The staff was really welcoming which was the only positive quality of my stay.

The second elevator was out all week. Didn’t even look like someone was checking it. Thought it seemed like a long time for it to be out. I think the bathroom, while nice, is designed poorly. The glass “wall” is not long enough so water from the shower gets all over the floor. Also, no fan for the steam. Other than that, a great stay.

Great location, clean, nice gym

Only note I’d have is to either have more than one non-Tesla EV charger or limit the time a car is able to stay hooked up as during our stay one car was utilizing it nearly the whole time.

This was the second time my family and I are staying at this hotel and everything is great. We love the location. The front desk is always welcoming and efficient. My only complaint is that one of the elevators is still not working, since the last time we were there.

Best Fitness Center that I have found in a hotel. I liked the wide assortment of equipment that was available.

I recently stayed at your property for two nights and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards I’ve come to expect based on previous visits. Upon entering the room, there was an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of body odor, which suggested the space hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. The rugs appeared heavily soiled, with visible dirt embedded in the fabric, and the bathroom was particularly concerning—there was mold present and what looked like stains or splatters on the walls. Additionally, the bed linens did not feel fresh, which made it uncomfortable to settle in on the first night. The overall cleanliness of the room and common areas, including the pool, left much to be desired. Construction on-site further detracted from the experience. It was also disappointing that streaming services, which were previously available during my past stays, were no longer accessible in the room I was assigned. I would like to acknowledge Maria from your staff—she was kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout the stay. Her professionalism stood out in an otherwise underwhelming visit. This hotel used to be a favorite of mine, but something has clearly changed—whether it was an older room or a lapse in housekeeping standards, the quality did not reflect what I’ve previously experienced. I hope this feedback is helpful and that steps will be taken to improve guest satisfaction moving forward.

We stayed here for work. The staff were amazing and super personable. However, our room had dirty handprints on the bathroom walls. I carpet was also very dirty , I has socks on and they were discolored.

The staff was very nice, however the room was HORRIBLE. Dirty, smelly and even mold in the A/c vent. I suffer from asthma and had a big crisis, couldn’t stop coughing. The rug felt wet and sticky making an unpleasant odor. Will not come back.

The only reason this review has more than one start is because of its amazing staff and service! Our room smelled like urine and we also found mold the next morning. Even after leaving the room all of my families luggage was left smelling absolutely disgusting. Everyone on the property was absolutely amazing and deserves raises.

I would say that is great except that I found ants around the desk, ignoring initially killing 2 or 3 . then another ones on the bed and called front desk, they changed us the room and then offered reimburse for the breakfast, some days after said they didn’t find anything not sure they did pest control . I’m that room For breakfast it is not a buffet . It is limited ,don’t worth the price . Plenty restaurants around . Good location and hotel is pretty new construction.

While it was a nice hotel, our room had a bad smell as you entered. Also the fact that it has no restaurant is something that we disliked. Staff was friendly and the beds were super comfortable

New, clean and quiet

place was amazing, very nice, etiquette and polite staff. The only thing I did not like was in the bathroom tub there is not door so sometimes water would splash on the floor, but overall had a great stay, no noises from anyone next door or outside at night.

My room wasn't ready for some reason. The front desk staff was AMAZING. The wifi would Not work for me. They did all they could to help. Gave me the name of a seafood restaurant that was sooooo good and very close by

Property good quality, but WiFi on ground floor in our was horrible with no connection. Housekeeper missed our room two days in a row. Not really Marriot quality that I have been accustomed to.

Staff was great. Fridge is small. No microwave. No continental breakfast but they do have a pay little bistro.

The staff was great. I didn't have a charger for my phone and they let me borrow theirs until I checked out. Loved the room only issue was the air made a noise all night long to where I had to turn it off just to sleep. Room 205.

Front desk person named Maria was extremely rude.

I had a poor experience at the front desk. The staff didn't realize my stay included breakfast, which I had already paid for, and I had to ask for it. They also charged me another fee, which they later said was a mistake.

The staff at the hotel was excellent and very accommodating. I was traveling with a large group and they made sure we were all well taken care of. Best customer service I’ve had in a while.

No one was at front desk and when he showed up he was very rude

During our 4 day stay housekeeping did not come in once. We had to find someone to get new towels every day and when we asked for toliet paper we were given attitude by the front desk staff member.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly and acknowledged our request. and the hotel location was excellent. However, the cleaning staff did not clean or straighten our room during our 3 night stay and we had to request more towels/washcloths. The AC was very inconsistent in maintaining temperature set, at night the room would register 72 degrees even though set at 67 degrees

Very clean and staff was very nice! Tucked away but close enougj to Tampa!

The property was quaint/a little hidden, which made it more private. Like a hidden gem. I was able to get in some good morning walks & avoid traffic. Great shopping & dining close by.

Great hotel and location

Very nice. Walking trail adjacent to the hotel. Close to restaurants and shopping. Easy access to highway.

We stayed here for a Bucs football game. Was about 20 minutes from the stadium and the airport. Area has shopping and dining surrounding it. Hotel was clean which is extremely important factor to my family when booking.

The property was great, as well as the staff and the comfort! Excellent amenities and easy access to highways and eateries. Surrounding area is currently under construction, but this will definitely be a "go-to" spot...now, and definitely in the future! I highly recommend it!👍

Very close shopping area and within 15min to the airport. Very convenient location and much bigger room than expected inside.

The property is pretty basic with small rooms and worn out amenities. Don’t recommend buying breakfast since it is juat a sandwich and a terrible coffee (3 days in a row)

No complimentary breakfast. For the price I paid per night, I would imagine that breakfast would be included.

Overall a nice place to stay. The only complaint is my son bought a biscuit for $11 and when he got it to the room it was super small and probably worth about $1.

The hotel is okay 👍 New and in amazing location! There is no breakfast! Even if you see on the app, the hotel doesn’t own a restaurant. There is a third party coffee shop in the hotel.

I do not believe that the food service is directly connected to the hotel but the customer service at the restaurant breakfast area was horrific
