As you walk in the smell of chlorine from the pool hit us strongly plus there was very loud music that evening as there were 2 big parties taking place. There were two security bouncers standing at the entrance - door. In all, not a great first impression. Once upstairs you notice it looks run down and clinical - has a really outdated and basic vibe. The room whilst it was clean also feels really dated and very basic. Its also quite noisy as you can hear the traffic. And walls are so thin that we heard sounds throughout the night, including some sort of verbal fight going. The good points -Amazing huge gym which was fantastic, the massive pool, lots of hot tubs etc were all very nice. It basically felt like a very good sports facility with hotel rooms built around it! -Free car park at the weekend. -Bathroom is modern and bathroom has a good powerful shower. Unlikely to stay again as we had a really poor sleep.

Plenty of parking which is free at the weekend so we were told at check in. Bar area nice & service was quick. Went down to see the pool/gym & staff just looked at us when we said we’d come for a look. We couldn’t access either due to barriers but staff continued with their conversation rather than see if they could help us out. Shame really as we may have gone for a swim, but wouldn’t consider paying for something we couldn’t see. The room was lovely, pillows & bed were great, shower amazing Shame no air con as despite 2 fans quite a difficult nights sleep due to being so hot. Would stay again if visiting the area.

Had a great stay at this property, check in was quick, the room was clean and very modern. Great bar restaurant, very lively and entertaining. It was a Friday night, so there was a lot of activity going on. Nice mix of age groups, families, and Singles. A great place to stay.

Hotel is tired , my room had marks in walls, scrapes on radiator and lots of hair and debris in the shower. The chairs in the pub had dirty marks on them, limited food choice if you wanted something with vegetables that wasn’t fried. Pool changing area was very clean, pool needs some repairs as jacuzzi was out of use

Fantastic staff, brilliant gym facilities and we loved our Club Room upgrade for free! Fantastic stay. Our only issue would be that our towel hooks were broken so towels kept falling on the floor, but that’s a quick fix and had no impact on our overall stay.

Excellent overnight stay on one of the warmest days of the year so far. Pleasent modern hotel, food and drinks available in lobby pub / bar, clean and airy, excellent facilities including a pool, sauna and steam room available to guests staying club room level or above along with free parking. Even managed to watch the England/Denmark football match in their cinema styled TV room next to the bar. Overall excellent.

It was good with good parking but there was no destination EV charging infrastructure to plug into overnight (please note we I'm not suggesting a couple of rapid charges, but destination 3kWh ones covering the car park so there's good availability).

Great hotel in a good location. Excellent value for money and the evening meal was good. Lovely pool and gym. The room was lovely and the bed was really comfortable.

The room was grubby, there were crumbs and food on the desk chair seat, and the room looked like it was being used to store stuff so there was limited space available. It didn’t feel clean and comfortable. Housekeeping were also very impatient, knocking on the door an hour before check out time and asking each time we left the room so didn’t feel like you benefited from the 11:00 check out as housekeeping were hovering around the room from 9:30

The hotel itself is in a good location however is in need for some TLC, we booked two rooms, one room smelt of smoke had countless cigarette butts outisde of the window, no AC and ghe provided Dyson fan was about as useful as an electric heater to cool the room down. The sink in the bathroom was completely blocked, and the £12 breakfast was about the worst hotel breakfast we'd ever had. The room itself wasn't very clean, dust everywhere.

The check in was quick and easy. The entrance was busy and tables dirty. The passage was outside the room was very dirty gave a dirty feel. The room was fine a little dusty and not fresh smelling. The room above us and opposite where very noisy.

Hotel was far too warm and no air conditioning in the rooms. Our room was also so far away from anything it made the experience poor. The bar, staff and food were excellent it was just a shame the room wasn’t. When we also checked Into the room we had dirty towels in the bathroom and rubbish under the bed.

Enjoyed the one night stay, staff were friendly. The food was reasonably priced. Only downside was that the room was a bit dusty, the carpet could have done with being vacuumed.

No air conditioning in the room. It was very hot while our stay. They provided a table fan and a dyson fan that dyson fan was didn’t seem to work. So we were just relying on standard table fan.

We used the self service machine to check-in, which was slow but a friendly staff member quickly jumped in to help making it much easier. The room was quite far from the main entrance & upon walking into our room we quickly realised we had no air con! A tall fan was provided but on the highest setting it barely did anything! I asked at reception if we could have another fan for room 602? She said they would deliver one to our room but never did! Other guests made a load of noise outside our room ver early and woke us!

Walls are paper thin, we could hear every word the next room were saying, less than ideal when that room was the congregation point for lots of people late at night then again very early in the morning. Noise even travels from events downstairs which go on until the early hours of the morning. Window did not close properly, letting in a cold draft, tried putting the radiator on but it smelt of burning so thought best to leave that alone. Did ask for a room move but none available. Probably the worst nights sleep I've had in a hotel in a long time. The room itself was clean and fine though and the pool facilities also good.

We arrived at 2230 and there was a party going on with loud music which did put us off as we were very tired from a whole day at a show. The receptionist was quite blunt and wanted me to tap my bank card but didn’t explain why, not something I’ve done before We went up to our room and actually couldn’t hear the music from the party which we were relieved about When we got into the room there was a card already in the electric slot and 2 fans were running. We were hit with a horrendous smell of stale tobacco smoke as though someone had smoked in the room. The window was open so assumed it was because of people smoking outside however we were facing a flat roof with no people outside We eventually got to sleep as the bed was comfy but upon waking up it still had the horrendous smoke smell In the light I could see there was dust on the headboard We had tea and coffee which was good and the shower was good however all of it was over shadowed due to the smell

Decent rooms, busy gym, and long corridor to rooms. A bit too USA style for some - tvs in bar, games area etc - definitely a younger age group. No A/C which seems odd for such a new building.

Noisy neighbours up to 3 am, no one on reception, no one to answer phone after numerous calls. No hot water, fire alarm three times in night. Had food there, hairs in food. Won’t go again. Staff tried to rectify but damage done

Noisy neighbours up to 3 am, no one on reception, no one to answer phone after numerous calls. No hot water, fire alarm three times in night. Had food there, hairs in food. Won’t go again. Staff tried to rectify but damage done

I checked it came back to room Key wouldn’t work so went reception told them room number he said no your room 504 not room 501 I was like that isn’t right he said yes you are went back room got it 504 was empty so panic on as all my stuff had gone so ran back to reception said you need to open 501 that’s my room he opened it and yes it was I’m disgusted the way I was treated

Awful service rubbish - room service app didn’t work so I went down stairs to reception who advised app not working go into bar/restaurant to order after queuing bar was very busy I was informed there would be no food for a couple of hours due to being busy in diabetic I need to eat! Went back to reception and after explaining what had happened I was advised to go 10 minutes down the road to Sainsbury’s shocking!!! I won’t be staying here again

Harrassed on check in and check out, despite saying I can operate the self check in they persisted to interfere. Loud music on and off from a neighbouring room, albeit earlier in the evening you cannot just call reception you need to access a myriad of QR codes

Big thumbs up for the Village Hotel! 🙌 A huge thank you to Olivia on reception, who went above and beyond to help me during a really stressful situation. The office had booked me in for the wrong day, and to make things worse, the hire van I was driving had a faulty key — with my locked phone still inside! Olivia didn’t hesitate to step in. She used her personal phone to help search for a solution, and thanks to her calm and proactive attitude, we managed to get it sorted. She was absolutely brilliant — a real asset to the Village team! Also want to give a shoutout to the night staff, who were really helpful and friendly too. Thanks again to everyone — you turned a stressful situation into a great customer experience. 👏

We stayed at this hotel as we were at Silverstone across 4 days and is roughly around a 40-60 minute drive (depending on what time you leave to and from). We were welcomed very late in the evening and were able to check in on the self service check in (and check out) service, we also we were also warmly welcomed by reception. Rooms were clean (comfy bed!!) and so was the bathroom (which is a big thing for me!!), very spacious too. We had room service (for one night) which was super expensive which was the only downside but the food was delicious. The facilities, I can’t comment on as we didn’t get to use them as we didn’t have enough time which was a shame!! The area around the hotel is great, so many places to eat and drink too and the hotel also has a mini Starbucks in the reception area. Would highly recommend and if we do Silverstone again for 2025, I would easily come back to this hotel!! Thank you!

Great location, good price and super accessibility to reliable bus service. Restaurant was excellent! Very tasty food; we enjoyed breakfast buffet which had a wide variety of selection; we ordered various entrees at supper which were always satisfying. We stayed four nights and found the room to be very warm and rather humid. We appreciated the fan but it did not do much to cool off the room. I was surprised at the lack of USB chargers and facecloths, and that there was no stand or space for luggage. We asked for extra hangars which helped reduce the mess from my pile of clothes on the floor. Thanks for a nice introduction to the UK for this Canadian.

As someone that stays in a lot of hotels during the course of a year, this was my first experience of staying at a Village Hotel and I have to say it will probably be my last. While the hotel and room was comfortable, it lacked attention to detail. silly things like, no cup or glass in the bathroom and no remote for the TV. While at breakfast they were constantly running low on the basics, such as scrambled eggs, beans and bacon. Pricewise the hotel was higher than others in the area, but offeres a lower standard of service and quality. So summing up, my advise would be to shop around for better value for money.

A very pleasant club room with lots of space. Not sure what the issue is but having to wait 2 hours for food for one night and an hour for the next was extremely disappointing and staff didnt seem to know how to handle things!

Hotel itself was ok, room and bed were good and food was pretty good. Downside was breakfast didn’t start until 8 and still hadn’t opened gone 5 last with only one person slowly setting things up. I couldn’t wait any longer given the number of people now waiting but was then refused a refund for the breakfast they hadn’t provided

First of all I booked this hotel because it has a pool and gym facilities, however what it doesn't say is that you have pad additional costs for the pool,gym and the carpark this was only made apparent when i booked in,so this marred my stay .

Fire alarm going off late at night. Exited the building as no one came out to tell us anything or if it was safe to go back to the room. No air con in the room. Room was a solid 10 minute walk from reception. Paid extra for breakfast and the food was horrendous. When we asked if there was any more beans coming out was told “when they are ready ye” Honestly one of the worst hotel stays to date.
