hotel was located in the middle of nowhere. it was deceptive to advertise that it was within a short walking distance from/to the airport. one would have to across very busy wide roads with suitcases. no elevator. we had two large suitcases as we were going on a cruise. we struggled to get to our room. breakfast - flies buzzing over a pathetic spread.

Un super B&B proche de l’aéroport, très pratique. Le personnel est très gentil, les chambres sont bien, le petit déjeuner dans le patio est très agréable. La piscine est petite mais parfaite pour se rafraîchir. Notre vol était en fin d’après midi et nous avons pu rester profiter de la piscine toute après midi

It wasnt indicated that we were on the second floor and up two flights of circular stars. Also lighting was dull making it difficult to see the way. Many steps carrying heavy suitcases was more difficult. The outside lock difficult to see in the dark as was the room lock.

Our recent stay at Talbot and Bons was amazing. The rooms were spacious, modern, and lovely, and the property was beautiful. The only thing I wish I had understood was that we might have to carry heavy luggage up several staircases. If you have any mobility challenges or expect heavy luggage, I would recommend requesting accessibility.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay we should have been more than one night! Very thoughtful design the little breakfast room is adorable. It needs to be on a magazine… Love the pool area. The only thing my husband and I were undecided about was the wine room because they only are a B&B and no one was there or available for their beautiful wine room. Keep up the good work and thank you for your thoughtfulness

This a lovely courtyard style property ideal for the airport. Rooms are very clean and have beautiful exposed stone. The bathroom is very luxurious. The continental breakfast was delicious and it’s lovely to eat in the courtyard on a sunny morning. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Fatal. Mi mujer incluso queria que nos fueramos a otro sitio. Lo unico que salva el desastre, es que la habitacion es grande, que tenian varios adaptadores de corriente UK y la decoracion. Pero ahi queda todo. Los estandares de limpieza, en general en Malta, estan muy por debajo de lo que yo considero una habitacion limpia. Cuando llegamos la puerta y la ventana de la habitacion estaban abiertas de par en par y la habitacion llena de moscas. A simple vista es muy coqueta la habitacion, pero a poco que te fijes, empiezas a ver telarañas, migas en los sillones, marcas de oxido en el suelo, polvo en la Tv y en cualquier superficie oscura, etc. La puerta de entrada es como una puerta de paso de una vivienda, con cristal al igual que la ventana del baño, donde han colocado un vinilo traslucido pero que no llega a cubrir el cristal por competo. Si vas a ducharte y hay alguien enfrente, tiene espectaculo asegurado. La recepcion solo esta abierta en un horario limitado, de hecho yo llegue sobre las 15:00 y ahi no habia nadie. No vi a nadie hasta el dia siguiente que ya nos ibamos. Es una lastima, porque el lugar tiene su encanto, y esforzandose bastante mas en la limpieza y el adecentamiento de la habitacion en general, ganaria muchos enteros.

Great for if you need to be close to the airport. Easy 15 minutes walk. We used as we had a flight in the morning. Good instructions for entry as we arrived later on in the evening. Room was okay. Can tell the owners have taken care with the design but was not quite to our tastes. Lighting was too dim for our liking. Sure others will love it. Bedside table tops had a bit of dust so cleaniness could be improved. Bed was comfy though. Bathroom was spacious but shower pressure was a bit low and hot water ran out towards the end of the second person's shower. Great to have coffee and tea provided in the room with a specific coffee machine. Milk was also provided but was actually stored in the fridge with all the minibar drinks which you pay for so initially didn't look in there! Breakfast was ok. You could juice your own orange juice which was the highlight for us. Some cold meats, breads. Problem for us was that the outside eating area was exposed to the sun and so was uncomfortable with the bright light and heat. The sun umbrellas were not set up for use. Also, it was unfortunate that due to the season, a few insects were flying around. Guess that it's the price of being outside. Area around the B&B was quiet but the planes could be heard from the airport in the morning.

Beautiful large room with quirky features. Nice lounge area beside a small pool. Convenient location to the airport. Unfortunately there is no option to book without breakfast which isnt ideal for early flights. The host did make up a take away breakfast of juice and meat sandwiched between dry bread. Not great and kids refused to eat it. Also noise from the room above, which sounded like a washing machine on spin, kept us awake most of the night

I love the old stone building. The room was beautiful and the decor was lovely, however due to it being stone it got quite cold and the air con heater took a while to warm up and was quite noisy.

The property was attractive and the rooms nice and cool and secure. We don’t find the beds all that comfortable. The sofabed mattress was quite thin and all the pillows far too fat for our liking. Breakfast was lovely. My children enjoyed making their own freshly squeezed orange juice.

The Room was clean and a good size. My son loved the little pool. There was a nice area outside the room where we could sit and relax. Location is excellent for the airport and the staff were very nice and very helpful. The beds were not very comfortable, especially the pull out sofa bed my son was in. The air con leaked, the bedside table was either broken or poorly designed as it kept toppling over and there was a huge crack I’m the painting on the wall by my sons bed which is dangerous. It was ok for one night but I wouldn’t have liked to stay longer.

Really enjoyed our stay, even though it was very short. We were between two flights and needed a place close to airport where we could get some rest. I have received details via What’sApp few days in advance and it was very easy to reach, about 15’ walk. Quiet and safe neighbourhood, lovely room and hosts, delicious breakfast. We’ll definitely come back.

Late flight so this seemed the perfect solution. About a 10-15 minute walk from the airport - I felt safe and plenty of sidewalks. There was an issue with the PIN code but a quick phone call and it was sorted. Room was lovely but up some curved staircases - my fault for not checking. Breakfast was lovely and I cannot fault the service.

När jag bokade hotellet stod det att jag skulle få instruktioner kring incheckningen inom 24 timmar från tiden man skulle bo där. Jag fick inget sådant mejl och blev mycket osäker på om jag skulle komma in överhuvudtaget då Receptionen inte är öppen på kvällen. När vi väl kom dit fick man ringa på en klocka för att bli insläppt vilket gick bra, men det var väldigt mycket oro i onödan hela dagen på grund av osäkerheten kring incheckningen. Bra att det skrivs ut i så fall. Nu står det ju fel då det inte går ut något mejl innan alls. Vi bad om frukostpåse då flyget gick innan frukosttiden men fick ingen. Hotellet är mycket fint! Otroligt mysigt med liten pool på innergården. Kan varmt rekommendera stället och det är endast 10 minuters promenad till flygplatsen.

Although the owner did us a great favor by giving us a wakeup call, we could not enter the hotel with the given code. We were lucky to have been followed shortly after being denied access by another couple who was staying there and opened the door for us. We were disappointed in not getting the balcony we requested with our room. However, the room was spacious and comfortable.

The staff were exceedingly friendly, professional and helpful, and allowed us to check in early, and also prepared a breakfast for us to take with us for our very early flight. A lovely room with a well cared for environment, in a pleasant town a short walk from the airport - would highly recommend.

Only had a brief visit as was up and out very early for a flight. Very easy walk to the airport. Accommodation was great and staff very pleasant. Not a lot of dining options in the immediate vicinity for non-drivers but plenty at the airport.

Nous étions de passage pour 1 nuit, entre deux vols. Tres pratique car à 10-15 min a pieds de l'aéroport. Lhotel est tres sympa et accueillant. Nous navons pas eu le temps de trop en profiter mais cetait parfait pour se reposer, lit king super confortable

Very nice place and convenient to go to the Airport to catch an early flight. Literally 10 mins walk to the airport. I did not get to try free breakfast because my flight was at 6am.

Talbot and Bons was the perfect location to stay for an early morning flight from the Malta International Airport. The hotel was an easy and safe 10 minute walk from the airport. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable.

A very beautiful place to stay! Very nice and very updated, clean, comfortable and a nice pool ( small) to cool off in after a hot day of sightseeing. The breakfast was excellent. Close to the airport but too far to walk. Use Uber or bolt.

Unfortunately there is no option to book without breakfast which isnt ideal for early flights. The host did make up a take away breakfast of juice and meat sandwiched between dry bread. Not great and kids refused to eat it. Also noise from the room above, which sounded like a washing machine on spin, kept us awake most of the night

Great B&B a short walk from the airport. A well appointed and comfortable room making use of the properties unique features and, for once, easy to use shower controls. Great selection of food at the continental breakfast buffet and we appreciated the grab and go breakfast prepared for our early start without any need to ask. Would happily book again.

The hotel was very unique and close to the airport but I would only give it 3 stars because we saw no staff when we were there. There were menus to order food and a wine bar, but no staff and no restaurants near by. We ended up grabbing cheese and bread from the convince store, but we were surprised that we couldn’t get dinner here.

Väldigt mysigt hotell. Eftersom vi åkte tidigt fick vi med oss en ”frukost- påse”. Ett ruttet päron, ett äpple och två franskbröd med ost och skinka utan smör. Kan tycka att personalen kunde lagt lite mer känsla, något att dricka och en yoghurt hade inte varit dumt.☹️ Vi brukar inte gnälla men här var verkligen en besvikelse!

This was an incredible property. Walkable from the airport and we never heard planes. It is 2 euros to get on a bus and go anywhere. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff were more than accommodating. On our last day, we left before breakfast and they put a wonderful breakfast in our fridge the night before. Cannot recommend it more.

We enjoyed our stay, the king size bed was so comfortable. The ac worked great, the bathroom and shower was also great! We rested well and spent some time at the pool. This bnb is so wonderful. The breakfast buffet was wonderful so much food to choose from. We will definitely be back.

Great for if you need to be close to the airport. Easy 15 minutes walk. We used as we had a flight in the morning. Good instructions for entry as we arrived later on in the evening. Room was okay. Can tell the owners have taken care with the design but was not quite to our tastes. Lighting was too dim for our liking. Sure others will love it. Bedside table tops had a bit of dust so cleaniness could be improved. Bed was comfy though. Bathroom was spacious but shower pressure was a bit low and hot water ran out towards the end of the second person's shower. Great to have coffee and tea provided in the room with a specific coffee machine. Milk was also provided but was actually stored in the fridge with all the minibar drinks which you pay for so initially didn't look in there! Breakfast was ok. You could juice your own orange juice which was the highlight for us. Some cold meats, breads. Problem for us was that the outside eating area was exposed to the sun and so was uncomfortable with the bright light and heat. The sun umbrellas were not set up for use. Also, it was unfortunate that due to the season, a few insects were flying around. Guess that it's the price of being outside. Area around the B&B was quiet but the planes could be heard from the airport in the morning.

Gem of a place and such an easy walk to the airport. Nice small pool as well! Lovely little courtyard to enjoy a cappuccino or tea, and their prices are very reasonable. Really enjoyed the ambiance of the place and our room with the stone walls. Only issue we had was the room air conditioner did not sufficiently cool down our room - I expect that is just a small problem needed onto be addressed with that A/C unit. Highly recommend this place!
