Stayed 3 nights

Our stay at this property was highly disappointing due to severe safety hazards and a lack of basic maintenance. Externally, the stairway lacked functioning lights, causing a dangerous fall hazard, luckily I was able to catch myself on the railing. The exterior entry way and entry mat was completely unmaintained and covered in thick cobwebs and spiders along with pine needles all over the entry way. Inside, we were met with a pervasive, musty & unbearable septic aroma coming from the master bathroom, specifically the shower drain. This aroma forced us to sleep with windows open and use the secondary guest bathroom. There was heavy dust layers on fans, lamp shades, webs hanging from ceiling lights including the kitchen area, and absolutely zero basic amenities or trash bags despite a three-night booking. Major structural utilities failed us completely, as there was no hot water in the master bathroom shower and the advertised fireplace had no wood provided (sad). Most frustrating and the very reason we even booked this home, the hot tub was a total health hazard—filled with dirt, sand, and mildew—rendering it entirely unusable! Very concerning and needs to be addressed immediately. This small city has potential and this home needs to do better, especially for a such a LARGE asking price! This property is complete false advertisement. Not to mention, property management showed up and was also disgusted with the hot tub.
