Pool heater was broken and not told till check-in. Pool was freezing so it had to been down for a while. They could of at least called and told me after i booked online. Do better.

Staff was very nice, quick check in. Room was clean but bathroom needed some updating with bad caulking etc. Pool was not open on Friday night until Saturday afternoon. That was a bummer because that is specifically why we chose the hotel. When we did get to swim the water was very cold and pool looked like it needed a good scrubbing.

I loved this inn. They have such friendly staff. The rooms are clean and newly remodeled. Sleek and comfort and a must when staying in a hotel. The pool is nice and warm for being so cold outside. Amazingly hot hottub! Its so hard to find a hotel that actually keeps their pool and hottub HOT! I will be staying here again ! Breakfast area is nice and clean. The food is standard for a hotel breakfast but they have everything nice and fresh! A remote for the tv is left in the dining area so you can change the channel while eating breakfast if you'd like. Thank you for the great stay! See you in the future!

Property is currently being renovated so I can excuse some of the mess in the hallway carpet due to contractor traffic, but it could have been vacuumed up better by the time we arrived back in the evening. I'm excited to see how it looks when all renovations are complete. The finishes displayed look awesome.

Its not that i didnt like it, the only thing was bathtub was dirty because it had some hair in it and ring around the drain and sofa had garbage and socks under it. Other than that it was nice.

Stayed at property because of convenient location to an event in town. Unfortunately was informed upon arrival that our room’s fridge had to be removed and there was no replacement. Then upon entering the room we could smell smoke but the hotel was fully booked and we were told we couldn’t switch rooms. The front desk gave us a febreeze type bottle and we sprayed down the room to try and get rid of the smoke smell. The area behind the pullout bed was disgusting and hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom sink and tub were also plugged and would take an hour to drain after use. Disappointed in the cleanliness and state of the hotel and unwillingness of hotel to make things right.

We loved the option of 2 King beds in one room for our family. The room was nice and quiet with a good size fridge. Unfortunately there was no elevator, so we needed to make several trips carrying all of our things up and down the steps. The beds were much firmer than we like. The pool was warm, my granddaughters enjoyed it.

Overall the stay was fine however the children running and making noise until midnight and then again at 6am was ridiculous with nobody doing anything about it!

The stay was great, only thing to note was the room did have a mildew smell to it. My guess is the AC unit in the room could use a deep clean is all.

Hotel needs updating. No elevator. We were there for a dance completion and our room was on the second floor. Had to carry my daughter huge heavy costume suitcase up stairs. The breakfast needs some work. Major snow system came through causing limited parking. No shoveling by front door caused build off of glare ice. Major safety concern. It’s an old hotel so walls/doors are thin. Can hear and smell everything. Doors slam entering rooms waking sleepers up.

You won’t find a cleaner hotel with more personable, helpful and resourceful staff within the state!! My kids and were treated like family, had an amazing stay and cannot wait until we can go back!! Thank you Grandstay, we hope to stay soon!

We had a confirmation number for 3 nights at GrandStay Hotel in Cambridge MN, paid for. Upon arrival at approx 7:40 PM the first night, we were turned away as they could not find our reservation. No other rooms available. It was a devastating situation to be in at that time of night. Until I receive an explanation of what happened, I can only guess.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They try to charge you $25 bucks for checking in less than an hour after 3pm. I had called to asked if the pool was working, and they said yes, but failed to mention that the hot tub wasn't. Found out that it hasn't worked in weeks. The next morning the pool was closed for very inadequate explanations (ie: I didn't have time, this isn't your poor, you're not the only wedding here...). The person in charge, manager, Bryanne, was so very rude to many people. I cannot explain how horrible this stay was. Again, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!

I planned our hotel room in April for a concert in the area on May 31st 2024. They charged my card $144 right away. Fast forward May 31st morning, the day we were supposed to check in...someone called from the hotel and said they had "flooding ' and our reservation was cancelled. I believe they over booked and I was the sucker who lost their room. All the surrounding hotels were completely booked because of the c8ncert I at the time of the call, didn't know they had already charged my card. The girl offered a free night some other time. Then I saw they charged my card. So the gift certificate wasn't a nicety to apologize for the HUGE inconvenience of having nowhere to sleep. It was a refund. So all in all. I NEVER recommend this place. When I cancel the morning of my hotel reservation I get penalized. But when they cancel that morning they don't have to give you anything back? That's terrible customer service. I've contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge as I never got what I paid for

Hotel rooms were terrific! Staff was below average. The team that was taking care of the breakfast buffet restocking and front desk on Saturday AM were disappointing. Energy, and concern for servicing the guest was poor. Slow, making excuses and just in general not good. Really great hotel, staff could use some customer service skills.

The woman who checked me in was a joy! Unfortunately, it was quite noisy in the hallway and the breakfast was very subpar. No eggs, the fridge had been broken so no yogurt, etc. The options were unhealthy sausage and biscuits, waffles or bread with PB, etc. Coffee was fine.

Beds are normal for a hotel. Pillows terrible as in most hotels. Very quiet though which was a plus. Hot tub not open the whole weekend. Pool was shut down Friday night. Very disappointed with the breakfast. Very few options and the options that are there are not very good unless you get them as they come out.

Booked reservation online with Expedia..got To hotel and they couldn’t give me The room I had reserved..so then I was Downsized … breakfast was Horrible..not many options.. couldn’t keep it stocked..maybe short staffed..not sure
