I’m reviewing this property as an older lady travelling alone The property is advertised as having a kitchenette. It actually has a sink and a kettle. And a minibar fridge. This not what I would call a kitchenette. The staff did their absolute best to make things better but it was clearly unviable to what I thought I had booked The room looks onto a busy square which was very noisy at night. Fortunately being there in February this finished by about 11pm. I would imagine it’s much noisier and later in summer months. The stairs are steep but the staff assisted me. The What’s App communication was excellent The room was large and bright. Not what I expected or indeed wanted but I still had a good experience.

Excellent location and suites. I can’t say enough good things as it was the perfect place for our family. We had 4 adults and 6 kids and rented all three suites so it was absolutely fantastic. For those who are older or have disabilities, it is important to note that there is no elevator for you to use or for your luggage.

We were excited to be in Rome again, probably our last visit to this beautiful & vibrant city. When we arrived we were breathless to see 20 narrow and steep steps staring at us! Victor quickly came to our rescue and lugged our 2 suitcases, 1 hanging bag and 2 backpacks more than 20 steep steps up to the room. Thank goodness for his help. Each morning Jermaine delivered an ample continental breakfast…fresh, delicious croissants, toast, chocolate chip cookies, assorted jams, cappuccino and tea. And she managed our luggage down the steps when we left! The unit is large bright space with a table & 3 chairs, a sofa, plenty of kitchen items and a big bonus: Air conditioning! Property is not handicap friendly. There are 20 steps into the unit and four steps within the room to get to the bathroom. I have a significant balance problem and steps are not my friend. When considering a property it isn’t enough to look at the rating, the location, the size of the room, and if there is king bed. NOTE: Ask if there is an elevator before booking! No water…it will cost 2.50€ from the adjoining cafe but hubby found a well stocked, modern grocery store close…6 bottles of water = 1.90€. Location, location, location...perfect!

I must say checking into the hotel was a little shocking. There is no lobby, and you have to walk up some very steep stairs to get to check-in which is in a hallway. We arrived at the hotel before check-in and wanted to drop our bags. We had to leave them in the hallway next to other people's rooms. I'm very used to traditional hotels, this is not. However, after my shock of checking in and getting over the fact that there is no elevator, we enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great, and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and very large. I think they have the best croissants I have ever had.

The room was spacious and clean. Vincent and Jessica were amazing and Vincent helped us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room late one night. Jessica was lovely and made sure we had our breakfast orders in. The cafe downstairs was amazing and very convenient. Also we got our Uber rides right on the corner. Easy walking to the Trevi Fountain and tge Spanish Steps. I highly recommend a stay here. Keep in mind you have to go up the steps to the second floor to get to your room.

Excellent place with spacious rooms. The initial introduction is a little daunting due to the steep stairs from the entrance. The suite was very well equipped with two big screen, TVs and a fridge. We plan to go back there in a few days for more of the excellent hospitality Amazing location and long time family run small hotel only three rooms

This property more than lived up to our expectations. We were in suite 1 for 3 nights. It was very comfortable, quaint and just what we wanted. Vincent could not have been more accommodating. He helpfully explained everything, recommended several restaurants and made the room available early. The breakfast was wonderful, served by a very friendly lady who could not have been nicer. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink was cute. The location is central to everything, with the colloseum and vatican being the furthest away (25min walk). everything else of note is on your doorstep, included lots of designer shops and of course lots of Gelaterias. The only negatives perhaps which is unavoidable, is the step staircase up from the street to the appartment. Entirely in keeping with this type of property in this location so just something to be aware of.

Sauberes, sehr schönes Appartement, welches gut gelegen ist. Das Frühstück schmeckt und ist mit viel Charme angerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wenn wir noch mal Rom besuchen sollten, würden wir nicht lange überlegen und wieder hier einchecken.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Teichnersuite sehr genossen. Unser Zimmer (Suite 2) war sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer bemüht uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Der Service war hervorragend und das Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Lage des Apartments ist ideal im Zentrum gelegen. In einem Radius von ca. 2,5 km kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit fußläufig erreichen. Wir können diesen Vermieter und die Unterkunft nur empfehlen und werden sehr gern wieder kommen.

This was a bit of a splurge for our family but worth it. The suite was clean and well maintained. It was spacious for our family of four, including two college-age kids. The suite had two levels separated with a few steps. The upper level had plenty of room for two twin beds and a night stand. The lower level had loads of room for the double bed, a table with chairs and kitchenette (coffee maker, sink and fridge) all of which allowed us to spread out comfortably for a one-week stay. The staff were super helpful, especially Vincent who spoke perfect English and offered lots of helpful info. Both he and Alessia were always available- before and during our stay- on WhatsApp. The hotel’s location was fantastic for visiting major sites, most within 15 min walk, others like Colosseum were only 30 min walk. The surrounding neighborhood has lots of upscale clothing shops, as well as restaurants, cafe-bars, pharmacy and mini grocery stores. The piazza right outside was lively all day but settled down at night for sleeping. To sum it up, we were very satisfied with the quality, location and service and would definitely recommend TeichnerSuite!

This was a beautiful property. The room was immaculate, very clean, the view was amazing. The restaurant right outside the property was awesome. Will definitely stay here again! One of my best friends will be traveling to Rome soon and I have already told her she must book here!

The property is wonderfully situated in a beautiful piazza with several good restaurants and Gelateria. The Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon are all less than a ten minute walk away. Despite being in a busy piazza, the room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The only downsides are that I missed having a better meat, cheese, and fruit spread that we have had at other Italian hotels, and the AC struggled to cool the entire room in the blistering July heat. To be fair, it was about 40 degrees C each day, and the room was mainly cool. Our experience was great overall, and we appreciate the attention and courtesy of the staff.

What can I say, the location is fantastic. The suite is well maintained and spacious. The staff are very friendly and willing to help at all times. They added to the positive experience with their professionalism. Only minutes away from so many iconic locations and there is dining all around you. Highly recommended and would stay there again without hesitation.

L'hôtel est situé au cœur du quartier historique, ce qui facilite les visites pédestres. La chambre est propre, fonctionnelle et très agréable. Le service est au top (surtout pour le petit-déjeuner). Toutefois, le point négatif reste le bruit nocturne de la place (camions de nettoyage, de livraison, poubelles, travaux, installation matinale des terrasses des cafés…). L'isolation générale des fenêtres est sans doute à revoir.

This is a perfect location to stay in Rome! Most of the historic sites are within easy walking distance. Our room was charming and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the freshly prepared breakfast provided in our room each morning was perfect. So glad we stayed here!

Prime location for a walkable Rome experience! Beautiful room with some built in privacy with single bed on upper level (~3 steps). Operable windows overlook a beautiful, clean, and vibrant square. Many fantastic dining options right at your feet and around the corner. Very comfortable bed and the AC blows COLD!!

This was a bit of a splurge for our family but worth it. The suite was clean and well maintained. It was spacious for our family of four, including two college-age kids. The suite had two levels separated with a few steps. The upper level had plenty of room for two twin beds and a night stand. The lower level had loads of room for the double bed, a table with chairs and kitchenette (coffee maker, sink and fridge) all of which allowed us to spread out comfortably for a one-week stay. The staff were super helpful, especially Vincent who spoke perfect English and offered lots of helpful info. Both he and Alessia were always available- before and during our stay- on WhatsApp. The hotel’s location was fantastic for visiting major sites, most within 15 min walk, others like Colosseum were only 30 min walk. The surrounding neighborhood has lots of upscale clothing shops, as well as restaurants, cafe-bars, pharmacy and mini grocery stores. The piazza right outside was lively all day but settled down at night for sleeping. To sum it up, we were very satisfied with the quality, location and service and would definitely recommend TeichnerSuite!

We stayed at this property at the beginning and end of our trip. This is a perfect location to stay in Rome. The windows look out onto a charming square with plenty of activity. Great windows ensure the noise from outside is not a problem. Beds were very comfortable and in room breakfast service was lovely.

The area is within walking distance to many of the main attractions and restaurants. I would come back to this one. The servers at the next door bar and restaurant were very friendly. The area is very conveniently located to a bunch of shops and restaurants and is very walkable to main attractions and metro stations to get a bit further. The staff was amazing. My husband and I didn't have our luggage for the first day because it was lost on the way there and they helped coordinate with the airport luggage service to get it delivered to where we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The unit was very centrally located and within walking distance to everything: Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Vatican, Trevi Fountain and Via Del Corso. Vincent was very helpful and always willing to help in any way possible.

Teichnersuite is Rome’s hidden gem! It was perfect for our family of 4 with plenty of space and storage (we were in suite 3). The staff were delightful (especially Vincent) and super helpful. It’s located on a quiet and classy piazza, with high end shopping steps away. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to all the sites in Rome. It’s also across from the best gelato in town!

This is a perfect location to stay in Rome! Most of the historic sites are within easy walking distance. Our room was charming and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the freshly prepared breakfast provided in our room each morning was perfect. So glad we stayed here!

Location can't be beat. Excellent communication with very friendly staff. Breakfast is OK, maybe add some fresh fruits/yogurt but there is a grocery shop around the corner so not a big deal. Fantastic experience.

This B&B is very centrally located and within walking distance of everything. Our room was great - cool, clean, spacious and comfy beds/ sofa beds! The staff were very nice, patient, accommodating and responsive, including the owner, Alessia, who was very involved in our well being and was very hospitable. The breakfast is free but not very good. Nonetheless, a very nice gesture as they bring it to our room daily! This is one of the better hotels/Apt we’ve ever stayed at and will recommend to anyone visiting Rome!

My wife, daughter, and I stayed for Fall Break 2024. We can't say enough good things about the hotel, staff, service, and location. The hotel is located on a piazza with four restaurants/cafes on the piazza. Great dining locations are all around, including Matricianella just around the corner. We walked everywhere, including the Vatican, the Collosseum, the Borghese Gallery, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. We even walked back from Stadio Olimpico after a soccer match. The staff were friendly, eager to please, and accomodating. Although not mentioned in the listing on Expedia, the room included a complimentary continental breakfast which the staff brought to our room at our requested time every morning. This was a great perk! Suite 3 was also HUGE by European hotel room standards. There was a queen bed and the hotel brought a temporary bed for our daughter. The bathroom was a tad small, but it worked. The hotel could use a little more closet space and some drawers. We definitely recommend to any family for an extended stay and we will definitely stay here again when we return.

We staid for three nights. Great location with everything within walking distance. Big and clean room, with daily cleaning. The staff was very helpful. The only thing we didn’t use the staff for was pick-up service at the airport because the price was almost double the taxi rate. Big plus that it didn’t cost any extra for leaving our luggage after check out, as we had some hours before our flight left. Lovely breakfast brought to the room.

This is a three suite property in central Rome which is more like a bed and breakfast. There are no real amenities like a true hotel. That being said, we had a fantastic stay. The staff is simply outstanding: Brought us a simple breakfast every morning, they were very accommodating and helpful and very responsive. The location was amazing and close to everything we needed. The room was very clean and there was air conditioning which is much needed during this heat wave. Note - there is a single set of steep stairs to negotiate to get to the rooms which was not an Issue for us but could be for others. Would definitely stay again.
