The building definitely had been recently renovated. The rooms was very nice, the flooring looked good (though a suggestions of felt pads on the feet of the chairs, moving the chairs caused alot of noise), i liked the coffee machine available all the time (nice options for coffee/expresso/decaf/etc). The only flaw, was the water - while the pressure was fabulous and the bathroon clean and modern, the water had a bit of a smell to it. Overall it was a nice place to stay, a very good price, loved it was just off the interstate and wonderful close to great gas stations, and there were close to some nice quick places to eat.

Our stay was ok. Can't complain about the price we got for our room. There was one incident when there were police officers that raided one of the rooms for a case of a minor altercation between guests. We felt a little bit unsafe because of the incident. The hotel had good pet areas which we liked. The cleaning lady was very nice.

We needed a place to sleep for one night and this motel was convenient. The desk staff was efficient but not particularly welcoming - all business. The room was adequate and bedding appeared clean. However, the flooring is all vinyl plank - maybe easy to clean but terrible for noise. Dust and grime in the bathroom in the corners and edges makes me think this gets a perfunctory wipe down at best. The worst part was being kept awake until 2AM with people walking up and down endlessly and slamming doors. No carpeting meant everything was amplified. If you are deaf or can sleep thru anything, this place would be fine.

The room wasn’t cleaned at all, the bedsheets clearly weren’t changed because they had hair of other people all over it and there were dirty spoons in the drawers. Clearly whoever had been cleaning it had been doing the bare minimum.

Although the property is listed as non-smoking, the exterior smelled strongly of cigarette and marijuana smoke. The lobby reeked of marijuana smoke. The room, thankfully, did not smell of smoking, but did not have a fresh, clean scent either. The room cleanliness was ok- the bed sheets were freshly laundered, but the floor was dirty. My feet got dirty walking on the floor and I had to keep my shoes on to keep my feet clean. The hotel was extremely noisy between 9pm and about 11 pm. Kids were literally running around upstairs at 10 at night, and the newly arriving guests were noisy. The key card for my door kept not working. At about midnight everyone was quiet and I could finally sleep. The property is in need of repair- you could see areas that were closed off that looked basically like abandoned buildings. The employees were friendly and check in and check out was smooth. I would not recommend this hotel.

The floor was filthy with crumbs all over . The ceiling was covered in stink bugs and ladybugs. The bed linens were turned inside out and there were dirty paw prints from a dog and crumbs in the bed. The smell of the room was so bad I went and got car air fresheners out of the car . Checked out the next morning and the sign on the counter said sorry no housekeeping on the weekend. So that’s why I guess.

Parking lot had a lot of litter. Our suite was clean...except the floor. Had to wear shoes even when coming out of the shower. Beds were comfortable. Sheets clean. Other than the noise from kids running in the halls on the 3rd floor after midnight and the banging from up there, our stay was nice. Looking forward to coming next year after all the renovations.

When we first got into our room, we immediately noticed how cold it was. It was 51° in the room so we turned the temperature up. The heater kicked in and made such a loud banging sound, it was almost impossible to sleep. We were able to fall asleep, but woke up numerous times throughout the night with the banging that the heater continued to make the entire night. In the morning, when going to use the shower, we noticed mold in two different areas. We also noticed that the ceiling was falling apart and had a large area that was somewhat ripping. We only stayed at the red roof Inn because we needed a place to sleep for a few hours to split up a long drive. We did notify the front desk of the mold in the room as well as the ceiling. On a positive note, the bed was fairly comfortable. I can’t say that I would want to stay there again though.

Starting with the shower head attached with duct tape, the air conditioner that sounded like a kid with their first drum kit, no daily cleaning service, the toilet paper holder that wasn’t, loose shelves, etc., etc. it wasn’t an enjoyable stay.

I liked the room because it was spacious. The room was really noisy in the morning though. Lots of noise from the unit above, almost like they were working out with heavy gym equipment? Old dated bathroom was not very clean, hairs and dirt. Shower curtain was falling out of the wall and the soap had not been refilled. The TV remotes did not work well, which was a struggle. Enjoyed the cable tv. Beds were decent and linens were clean. Front desk was kind and helpful. Maybe the dirty washroom has to do with being pet friendly? Definitely dated and needs some repairs though, bedroom door had a hole in it like someone got angry and punched it. Again, this could’ve been from a large pet? All in all, it was decent for the price but would’ve liked it to be cleaner, soaps refilled and obvious repairs taken care of.

Check in lady was nice, but…, After lugging our bags with our dog up to top floor, she didn’t properly activate the key card so had to go back down and leave the kids msg with luggage and dog in the hall… got back up there only to find out she switch our two queen bed rooms to a queen suite with sofa bed, fine enough but… Pulled out the sofa bed later only to find no sheet on the bed and no sheets for it in the closets or drawers, really? Had to shlepp back to down to lobby and wait for front desk to find sheets for sofa bed After this second inconvenience, an apology and room discount the from front desk lady would have been a nice gesture. It was very late and we were all totally exhausted, so these tests on our patience were a painful smack of incompetent service

The dispencers in bathroom were empty. Couldn't get TV to work and front desk personal couldn't help. Staff very inattentive. Couldn't understand staff when they spoke. I really did try. Even asking them to repeat but they seem rushed even though there were no other patrons waiting.

The room was as shown however the service was horrible. The tentant was rude, we called the serice bell and waited over ten minutes just to check out. He did not explain the wifi services. The only thing offer for breakfast was coffee and breakfast was offered on the site. Would not stay again.

Relaxing overnight stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Hotel is no frills, but definitely adequate for a safe, quiet night of rest. Front Desk agent provided us with a menu for a nearby Italian Restaurant (Berwick) that provided very fast delivery. And the food was excellent.
