Bay Port is in a great location near everything there is to do in Frankfort. Whether you are coming with your family or traveling solo, BPL will provide a great experience. The check-in by "texted door code" worked out very well, and I was able to go straight into my room upon arrival on the property. The property/grounds manager, was talkative and filled with great information. I very much enjoyed my conversations with him. Housekeeping does a great job, as my room was very well taken care of for my arrival. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the number of channels available through DirecTV. It worked out well to be able to watch so many games on a sports-filled weekend. Thank you, and I will definitely return.

This property has potential but there needs to be some renovation of the property. The screen on the door had holes in it and was loose around the edges; the screen door also had a huge gap at the bottom sufficient to allow critters in so we were reluctant to keep it open. The towels were excellent and hot water plentiful. A shelf or someplace to put things in the bath would be welcome.

decor was very nice. lost heat during night, it got down to 60. tried calling but no answer. Talked to a lady in morning and she stated heat was repaired day before. She offered refund or another future night stay. I chose the second option since we would like to come back in future. Unfortunately, I have not heard from them by email or phone. Also killed several small spiders in bathroom.

The room was cute, served its purpose. But with laminate floors, we tracked a lot of dirt in and around the room. A rug at the door would have been helpful. Also, there were some areas that could have used a little more cleaning attention (cobwebs near the base of the bed frame). Never saw any staff. There was a sign with a number to call, but it would have been nice to have a real human in the office during the day for quick questions.

Small, quaint place to stay, perfect for our color tour trip. Friendly staff, room was checked each day. Bathroom was a little on the small side (I’m 6’3” tall) but it worked. Could use a little cleaning under bed (dusty). Would stay here again.

Contacted the property ahead of arriving because of a confusing email I received. They were able to confirm our reservation and checked us in over the phone, which allowed us to continue our sightseeing and not have to worry about it. The bathroom was small but the water was hot. One downside is that since it's on a main road there was lots of traffic noise in the morning.

Very simple, no flair, exactly what was need for the couple of nights away. Very clean. Don't expect a large bathroom, bedroom area because it's a definite 60's/70's motel that's been kept up very nicely! Downtown area is quite a few blocks but a very nice walk!

Pylled in, and immediately realized I'd made a mistake. The property is not like the cheerful photos at all. Musty, very small room, too many disappointments to list, but it was clean enough to keep me from leaving. Would not return.

Overall, the room was clean and cute, it could have used a picture on the wall or maybe a little more decoration. There needed to be more outlets, especially near a mirror, there were no outlets in the bathroom, which was difficult. We were there for a wedding And there needed to be more hooks/places to hang clothes up. The property was a little unkept. The staff was friendly and helpful though would consider going back.

Liked the quaint place. Older place, lots of updates done, whould of liked someplace to set a few things in bathroom maybe small shelves and hooks. Bed was comfortable. It was clean and comfy.

Room not like what was depicted in photo. Looked like an empty college dorm room. Just green walls, a bed, 2 unpatching g old table stands, a table and 2 rocking chairs. Nothing on the walls. Dented mini refrigerator. Extremely old small bathroom. Not worth the price we paid.

Besides Hotels screwing up my re reservation and booking me a 1 bed room when I had booked a 2 bed accommodation. Luckily where we were staying had an extra room that my friend could stay in. They are very cool and took care of us, which was greatly appreciated.
