Me and my wife travelled from Newfoundland and wanted to visit wasaga beach and have a swimming pool in the place we stayed which there was a beautiful pool and the pool was shown on the website however it wasn’t open for us to use. If we had known we would have rented a place with a usable pool.

Management was perfect. Properties need to be updated and the rooms were very small. Two of the bedroom doors didn’t close. One of which was because the light switch was blocking it. The toilet was on a weird angle and water pressure is a little low when flushing. The pool was advertised but wasn’t open and the playground is way outdated and unsafe. The good things were the location to the beach and restaurants. Friendly and expedient staff. Place was clean (except one bedsheet). And was a good (camping like) experience.

Nice safe property with motel suites and full service cottages. Playground, swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, ping pong, and firepit areas. 5 min walk to main beach.Excellent choice!

Good location specially since it's so close to the beach. I got the unit with dedicated parking. It was like a mobile home. Good size unit. Decent size of TV with sofa in living room and bedroom has decent size mattress for two. The only two things was a bit let down was wifi strength and electric outlets in living room, and bed room were located far off. Staff was very helpful. Specially Autumn who made sure we got access to the unit prior to office closes.

We had a great stay in cottage 28. It’s one of the renovated cottages and it’s pretty private as it’s tucked away from the other cottages and the motel. It has a king size bed (very soft bed), fireplace and jacuzzi. A nice bbq on the patio, full kitchen with utensils, plates and bowls, and cookware. There are some snacks provided for breakfast (didn’t check that out so not sure what’s there). There’s fire pits, a playground and outdoor games in the common area. The staff were helpful. The office closed at 9:30 which I wasn’t aware of - the staff called me at 8:45 to let me know which was appreciated. Great location, close to Beach 1 and the main strip. I wouldn’t pay top price to stay here but it was perfect for a quick weekend away at a great deal.

We came here for our Mini-Moon after our Wedding for a few days during the week mid-July. We had an amazing time, the room was newly renovated with a full kitchen, beautiful bathroom, dining area, living room sitting area, whirlpool and bedroom area. There's plenty of complimentary parking, the grounds area very big with options to stay in the motel part or rent a private cabin. There's ping pong, volleyball, a park for kids and a pool. Staff were very friendly. The location is very convenient for walking to the beach and restaurants/shops along the main beach, mini putt, jet ski rental and other restaurants/stores within 5-10 minute walk. The only negatives are the check in (4pm) and check out (11am) times don't allow a lot of time at the actual resort, it was a bit on the pricey side and my husband had to spend quite a while skimming out grass from the pool as there was a company doing landscaping and their machines shot all of the grass straight into the pool as we were walking to it. Otherwise, a great experience and would definitely recommend it to others.

Room was really nice, very clean and looks very modern . Perfect for a weekend getaway. The only thing that I didn’t like was the fact that they close the pool at 8 pm. We were hanging out by/ in the pool and were told we needed to get out at 8pm. I’ve been to several places that close at 10-11pm by Wasaga so this was a surprise to me a a little disappointing tbh.

Rooms are lovely and convenient to have a full kitchen in the rooms. It is easily walking distance to Wasaga beach, and you can get the parking pass before check in time so you can make a day at the beach. The only downside is that the playground is very dated and doesn’t seem safe for kids to use. The pool is also advertised as heated, and it was icy cold. It was clean though.

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin. The location is close to the beach. While we didn't use them, the resort has evening fire pits, a pool and beach amenities available. The cabin had a full kitchen, gas grill and private parking.

Let me start off by saying room was not ready at 4pm for check in, big disappointment there. Finally got the room and it's pretty dirty garbage in bins was not removed, pee on the floor around the toilet, I was told the room wasn't ready because they are cleaning obviously they didn't clean very disappointed will never return here

Very disappointed. The black mold on the window was terrible. The window has not been cleaned in yrs. Cob webs covered the outside and full of bugs. Mold in the shower as well.

I wasn't sure what to expect but ended up with a really cute little cottage! It was very clean and air conditioned! The staff was super friendly and helpful! They also let me keep my car parked there after I checked out on the last day so I could spend some extra time at the beach! Speaking of the beach! This resort was literally a 2 minute walk from the beach and couldn't ask for a better location! My only gripe would be that the bed was hard as a rock and I had to sleep the second night on the couch (which was super comfy) as my back was killing me! Otherwise was a flawless experience :)

We were in town for a concert at the new arena and chose the Saga Resort as family had been here in the past. Our room was very clean and comfortable and may have been updated recently. Check in was great, other staff was very nice when supplying our extra towels. Our only issue was the wifi didn't seem to have a strong signal and streaming Netflix was interrupted. It would also be nice to have a full length mirror for getting ready instead of just washroom one.

We stayed in the renovated 2 bedroom condo and enjoyed our stay. The renovations were modern, beds comfortable, and it was clean. The pool and park is original, so older, but still nice and the kids enjoyed the pool being heated and the park. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We appreciate the kind service, allowing us to have an early check in and letting us park there through the day. Walking distance to the beach is wonderful, Thank you!

The location and the room are nice. Value for money. One of the receptionists was rude though, when my husband asked for coffee in the morning at 8:30am, the lady said she just arrived and asked him to come back in ten minutes with a cold face. When checked in the night before, we were told that the coffee would be ready at 8:30 am. When my husband checked back in 10 minutes again, the lady said she did not know if the coffee was ready or not. Seems she didn’t like the job or had a bad morning.

Brand new apartment. Very clean with nice furniture and modern bathroom etc. We were supposed to check in at 4, however we only go the room at 5.30. Front desk staff were very courteous and extended our check out by a few hours. Will definitely stay there again.

The Saga Resort is in an excellent location, walkable to the beach and restaurants. The renovated room we stayed in was comfortable, clean and spacious. Front desk welcome and service was excellent. It can be a little noisy on the shared balcony at times, but was really a very minor issue. Will definitely stay here again!

The location and the room are nice. Value for money. I liked the clean, renovated room and jacuzzi. There was a coffee maker but I didn’t bring coffee and there wasn’t any available in the room … that would have beed a nice addition 😊 Otherwise it was a pleasant experience, overall. Will return someday. Thank you Saga Resort!

Suggest the office open earlier so people leaving early can take advantage of the free coffee and breakfast snacks. Business people leave earlier than 8:30 in the morning. Thank you

The person at the concierge desk was very friendly & it was quick to check in! They also offered coffee & snacks in the morning. The only downside was that there was no door tag to say if you wanted your room cleaned, etc.

Conveniently located near the beach. Room was clean and had a mini kitchen equipped with range, microwave and fridge. We really enjoyed our stay although we were slightly annoyed by the noise of the fridge constantly running.
