This beautiful hotel sits higher up in the jungle and gets you closer to nature. Monkeys came to visit just outside the shala during a morning yoga class. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind and reflect. The food and service were top notch. Definitely recommend!

Perfect name for this boutique hotel! Magnificent all the way around. Nestled on top of a hill designed for modern tranquility with stunning views of Playa Guoines. The culinary options were some of the best we had in Costa Rica and the entire TM team were fabulous. The hotel offers convenient shuttle rides to the TM Beach Club. A Tuk-tuk can be called for you to and from town if you don't have a car and free parking if you do. Enjoyed complimentary Yoga every morning and relaxing by the pool. Highly recommend Tierra Magnifica Boutique Hotel if planning a visit to Nosara!

The staff at the Tierra Magnifica were amazing ! I have never been treated so well at a hotel before … From the moment we got there to the time we checked out we had an absolutely a wonderful experience ! The terrace was beautiful the breakfast superb and the service wonderful … Yoga in the morning with Ana was great we enjoyed her class immensely !

This place is incredible. It went well beyond our expectations. The service is expectable, food creative and delicious, view and property top notch. The staff were extremely attentive offering super service, organizing tours and helpful to every need. Yoga with Ana in the Shala every morning was a great way to start our day. Sun beds and pool inviting. Highly recommend for couples, single or friend getaways. Laundry is included and delicious top rated breakfast too. We will definitely come back.

We stayed here for 10 days. The hotel is beautiful. Amazing view from the breakfast area (and pretty much everywhere else). Food was great. Staff was super helpful and nice, very attentive. Pool area was very nice and cozy. A short tuk-tuk ride to shops and beaches. Absolutely would recommend.

Tierra Magnifica is truly a perfect getaway! We felt taken care of, comfortable, and looked after from the moment we arrived. The staff is the friendliest of any hotel we experienced! Highlights included the beautiful room with an extremely comfortable king bed, shower with a jungle and ocean view out the large window, daily complimentary morning yoga, and a delicious included breakfast! We had dinner 3 nights out of five at the restaurant because the food and cocktails were absolutely delicious! Can’t recommend this stay in Nosara enough. Thanks for a perfect vacation, we can’t wait to return!

Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, allerdings haben uns ein paar Kleinigkeiten gefehlt, wie ein Mülleimer, ein Stuhl mit kleinem Tisch, ein Fernseher und ein kleiner Kühlschrank. Die Liegen am Pool sind dafür super bequem, und auch der Pool selbst ist schön und sehr erfrischend – lediglich die Blätter im Wasser könnten regelmäßig vom Personal mit dem Kescher entfernt werden, gerade weil tagsüber meist nicht viel los ist. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Zufahrt zum Hotel könnte etwas besser ausgeschildert sein, da man sich leicht verfahren kann, vor allem im Dunklen. Tierra Magnifica was absolutely amazing! From the peaceful nature all around us to the kind, attentive staff and the amazing room! The staff went above and beyond for absolutely everything - booking our custom excursion to even getting us a breakfast burrito delivered by the security guard at 2am because we had to drive back to San Jose that early. I would 100x stay at thia hotel again, it exceeded my expectations and we had an amazing, relaxing time surrounded by nature ❤️ thank you to all the staff!

Everything about this place is magnificent! The people, food, the view! Our stay was in King suite. We will definitely return here. Only difficulty was the drive from Liberia to resort was 2 hours drive, some on dirt road.

The natural beauty surrounding the property is breathtaking — from the lush jungle views to the serene ocean backdrop, every moment felt like a dream. What really sets this place apart is the exceptional staff. Every team member we met was kind, thoughtful, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their genuine warmth and attention to detail elevated our entire experience. The food was phenomenal — fresh, creative, and full of flavor. This place is incredible. It went well beyond our expectations. The service is expectable, food creative and delicious, view and property top notch. The staff were extremely attentive offering super service, organizing tours and helpful to every need. Yoga with Ana in the Shala every morning was a great way to start our day. Sun beds and pool inviting. Highly recommend for couples, single or friend getaways. Laundry is included and delicious top rated breakfast too. We will definitely come back.

This beautiful hotel sits higher up in the jungle and gets you closer to nature. Monkeys came to visit just outside the shala during a morning yoga class. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind and reflect. The food and service were top notch. Definitely recommend!

My stay at Tierra Magnifica was absolutely amazing - I genuinely didn’t want to leave! The staff were some of the kindest people I’ve met; by the end of my few days there, I was honestly sad to say goodbye. The room was beautiful, with a breathtaking view that made every morning special. The location was perfect for me as a solo traveler - I felt very safe the entire time. It’s about a 10–15 minute drive down to the beach, but it’s so worth it for the incredible panoramic views from the mountaintop. Breakfast was fantastic, and the view from the dining area was even better. And Huacas, the on-site restaurant just steps from my room, served the best food I had during my time in Nosara. Thank you so much to the Tierra Magnifica team for such a special stay. I can’t wait to come back!

Perfect name for this boutique hotel! Magnificent all the way around. Nestled on top of a hill designed for modern tranquility with stunning views of Playa Guoines. The culinary options were some of the best we had in Costa Rica and the entire TM team were fabulous. The hotel offers convenient shuttle rides to the TM Beach Club. A Tuk-tuk can be called for you to and from town if you don't have a car and free parking if you do. Enjoyed complimentary Yoga every morning and relaxing by the pool. Tierra Magnifica is truly a perfect getaway! We felt taken care of, comfortable, and looked after from the moment we arrived. The staff is the friendliest of any hotel we experienced! Highlights included the beautiful room with an extremely comfortable king bed, shower with a jungle and ocean view out the large window, daily complimentary morning yoga, and a delicious included breakfast! We had dinner 3 nights out of five at the restaurant because the food and cocktails were absolutely delicious! Can’t recommend this stay in Nosara enough. I almost do not want to write this review because the TM is such a hidden gem that I don't want it to get over booked. However, the place is so amazing it would be wrong of me to not rave about this property. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. From the moment I arrived at the property and was greeted by Maria Fernanda the experience became special. The staff at the TM are aiming for your enjoyment and happiness. They know how to make you feel special. As the Author of Winning the Customer, my business is about building relationships and high touch customer service and TM definitely overdelivers. From the Concierge team of Andres, Alexandra and Maria Fernanda to the Wait Staff and Bartenders including; Alex, Daniel, Stephanie, Jose, Ronny, Edwardo, Joshuan, Gary and Warner. All went out of their way to perfect my stay. I can't forget Ian who got me back and forth from Beach Break, their other property close to the beach. And the views... Spectacular! You will be in awe of the scenery and having breakfast with the butterflies and humming birds. Finally, I would be remiss not to mention Chef. My son and I enjoyed an incredible tasting menu, prepared by Chef Paulo Valerios that was "off the charts" delicious. Amazing flavors, ingredients and stories by Chef himself. I have been to many Michelin Star restaurants, and Chef & Huacas should be in the Michelin family. If you like adventure, scenery and being pampered, Tierra Magnifica is true to it's name, Magnificent!

Had an amazing time! Beautiful views, delicious inventive food at the on-site restaurant, and outstanding cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The staff are very kind & seem to all make sure to know you by name. As others said the included laundry service is a really nice feature, daily cleaned clothes for yoga and beach means less extra clothing to pack or dirty laundry to travel with. Morning yoga classes were wonderful. Their shuttle drops you at their sister property serving same food from the main site & leaves a short <10 minute walk to the beach, and short walk to some shops and restaurants. Bugs are around as this is the jungle but nothing unmanageable, and good quality bug repellent cream resulted in getting barely any bites (sallyeander no bite me). The room has a bug repellent spray also. The morning cleaning leaves the room sparkling and fresh when you return from breakfast. Saw and heard a lot of cool animals- monkeys, frogs, large and small birds, etc. Can’t say enough good things about staying here.
