Cobblestone was quiet, very clean, and well maintained. The only drawback is that the hotel has no elevator. This makes it difficult when taking luggage up to the 2nd floor, especially for a 70 year old.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. It was very clean, comfortable bed and a great breakfast. Even has a bar! Would definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

We had a reservation for a king size bed which is what we were given but it was on the second floor and they do not have an elevator. We asked at the time of check in if we could have a king bed on the ground floor but there weren't any available or they were for handicapped customers. We weren't happy about lugging our bags up the stairs. They do not provide any assistance and we are both in our 70's and not accustom to stairs. We will not stay there again.

A very nice facility. I found two long black hairs on the wall in the shower. Then I wondered what else hadn't been wiped off. Fortunately, everything else seemed clean. The room was large and comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

The room was clean 'except' for the clump of long dark hair stuck to the shower wall. Shower seemed clean but missed the hair. Typical motel hot breakfast.

The bathroom floor was sticky and could see swirl wipe streaks on it. Maybe it was the cleaner that they use but I wouldn;t recommend using it if it was. It was nasty enough I put a towel on the floor to walk on. Also, a brown spot in the toilet that made me wonder how well the rest of the room was cleaned. Although the rest of the room seemed just fine. The bathroom cleanliness was my only concern. Still it is a pretty decent place to stay for the price point.

The room definitely needed to be aired out. It was so damp and smelled really bad. I couldn’t sleep because I was having a reaction to the mold all night. There were a bunch of ants in the shower and the shower drain wouldn’t drain the water. Fairly unpleasant stay.

The room was great and check in was easy! I paid ahead of time which saved time. The 2 stars is because its across from walmart which i had to visit several time while i was there because of my kids. Its very hard to cross the highway at times. You can also hear the semis blazing down the highway so noise was another fault. We stayed there Friday night and checked out on Sunday. Unfortunately, we werent able to eat breakfast because their free breakfast doesnt start until 7 on the wknds. We had to be at a rabbit show at 7am. I did go grab myself a bagel and cream cheese so i could take my medication. Took it to go Sunday. Its not the hotel's fault its across from walmart on a busy 4 lane highway, but it was very inconvenient for me.

The beds were so high we had to literally jump to get in them and then roll over til we could sit. The tub had a shower but no way to turn it on. The guy who checked us out was unnecessarily talking about things he shouldn’t have. Clean room, nice breakfast.

We tried to check-in 30 minutes early and they would not let us unless we paid $25.00. I said I have never ran across this before and the lady said yes it’s management that will not let us let anyone check in early without a fee. Would not recommend if needing to check-in early. There were other motels/hotels in Boone that would let you check-in early if needed. Other than not getting to check in a little early the hotel was clean, bed comfortable and breakfast was a normal continental breakfast. Was kind of pricy for not pool or hot tub.

When we arrived there were only 2 guest cars. We were an hour early for check in but we had an activity scheduled at check in time. When I inquired about possibly checking in an hour early I was told that it would be an extra $25 per room. For what? There were no amenities we were using. Also was put on the second floor with no elevator. This was fixed to the great inconvenience to the staff.

For being a small town hotel, they had a lot to offer! Their conference center looked huge. I saw they had a fitness center in there. It was clean. The breakfast selection was pretty big. The customer service was great. I enjoyed it!

Going to the football game in Ames but hotels are so costly those weekends. Boone is a pleasant drive and not too far. The room was half the price of others yet it’s a fairly newer clean hotel. Staff was nice and helpful. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We’ve stayed at this location twice now.

Room was comfy but cleaning was a little spotty. Especially the room air conditioner unit was very very dusty with lint balls? I wiped off. The check in and everything else was very good! Breakfast was above average. Kids were enjoying the waffles!

This was a great place to stay. Not sure what happened, but really took a turn for the worst. Sheets were dirty, breakfast I got a pastry, had mold on it. Had to phone from front desk to talk to someone because no one was there. Never seen no one come down or into breakfast area. People were upset, no eggs or sausage was refilled.

Breakfast was so so. They ran out of food at 9:35 and when asked if the scrambled eggs and bacon could be replenished, her curt comment was " we don't cook anything after 9:30 am." Then why does breakfast go until 10 am? The next morning we went at 8:30 am and there were scrambled eggs, but they were dry and barely warm.

Room was clean, beds very comfortable. Quiet rooms. However, the breakfast was less than average. Juice machines were broke with alternative (like pitchers of juice) there were only 2 options for hot breakfast and I'm not even sure what they were because they were both gone by 8:20 when I was at breakfast and were never replenished. Ended up having cereal.
