This place was amazing, we were late arriving and the host accommodated even staying late. Beautiful location and perfect for visiting the old city. Book with confidence. A gem of an experience, made our trip to Italy.

The Palazzo is in an excellent location in the heart of old Lucca, one of my favourite cities on our trip. It was wonderful to stay in such a historical residence with beautiful frescoes in the breakfast room. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a wonderful selection of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, cereal, yogurt and cut up melons and pineapple. I highly recommend this accommodation and hope to return in the future!
The Palazzo is in an excellent location in the heart of old Lucca, one of my favourite cities on our trip. The hotel was very responsive to our questions. They were able to accommodate our car in their private courtyard and register it. The room was very large and comfortable with two areas. It was in a great area central to restaurants and shops so we didn't need a car. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

It was quite average Slightly unusual set up - not a hotel but more of a B&B in a historic building. The room itself was massive, old and in need of some care. No real reception as such other than a desk on the first floor. Quality of the bed itself was very poor with a very low quality mattress and bedding. There also was no shower other than an attachment coming from the bath with nowhere to suspend it other than hold it manually, but I have to say everywhere was clean. Breakfast was fine -nothing special but adequate. Overall I am glad we stayed here, interesting building with lots of potential and history but I don’t think I would repeat in it’s current state.

I expected a lot from this palazzo and it absolutely delivered and more. The location was super, the accommodation was first rate, the room and the hotel itself was out of this world and the staff were very helpful.
