Nice property with many walkable restaurants to choose from. Staff is friendly and helpful. The gym has equipment to do most anything you would like. Even has a Peloton stationary bike to use.

The hotel is beautiful and overlooks the river. The hotel is placed in a convenient location to Route 1, stores and restaurants. I felt safe having my children in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and answered all of questions with a smile. The main areas of the hotel are kept up. The bathrooms near the pool were stocked and overall clean. The pool area has chairs and tables set up and towels to dry off. The pool water is set at a nice temperature and the room is kept warm so its not too shocking when you get out. The overall appearance when you walked into the room was clean and pleasant. The river view, which is a slight upcharge, was completely worth it! Sadly, the pool itself is very small, in overall size and depth. The hot breakfast was quite limited in choices. A family favorite is the offering of omelets made per request. The hotel rooms were decent in size, but not very clean. We found a prior guest's sock and ear plug. The rug was in need of a steam cleaning. The bathroom needed to be scrubbed, there was a lot of grime and dust built up.

False advertisment on expedia for a hot tub. Poor expedia customer services. Bed had a dirty sheet with a blood spot. Had to get beds changed at 11pm to put my 6 year old to bed. Breakfast was gross.

Housekeeping, though quite active and present during my stay, failed to service my room after a specific request was made by the front desk. Carpet in room had multiple stains. Front desk was always very responsive. Breakfast and coffee quality have declined slightly over past year.

Nice location and very helpful staff. Breakfast was a plus. Our room was spacious. We had a few issues: bugs on the window, stain on the sheets, cracked toilet that was patched up, something on the bathroom wall that was not cleaned from previous guests, the bottom of the cabinet was coming off and was taped, no cleaning service our first day there. Overall we had a great stay. This was relatively well priced (the room cost in the area is very expensive).

Great property - we stayed in Room 412 with a fabulous view of the Kennebec River. The room was very large with a king size bed, a sofa and coffee table, desk with chair & desk lamp, two small ottomans (to rest your tired feet after a long day) and a large bathroom. Beautiful plush towels and a large shower with great water pressure. Excellent hot breakfast was included with our stay, and tea/coffee service is available 24hrs in the reception area. We did not use the indoor pool. Such friendly staff - a simple smile goes a long way in Customer Service. thanks for your service (especially during these difficult times of the global pandemic).

My daughter got really sick, pneumonia, and I tried to cancel or reschedule the day before we were going to stay. The hotel manager would not accommodate. I will not be booking a stay here again.

Staff were some of the absolute best. We had a very late check in; very efficient and in our room within prob less than 10 minutes. Breakfast was superb! Every member of the staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean property. Room was spotless. I always check the nooks and crannies... Nothing. Spotless i tell you. One of the best.

Didn’t even stay !!! Couldn’t even stay, after the they way we were treated. Not really family friendly, They have a 18/21 discrepancy for checkin. Call before booking !! The front staff clearly lacks customer service. And was zero accommodating. Leaving the Hampton inn a very poor choice for any future trips with their policy. And made it clear. No child under 21 is allowed in the room or building without being 21 years of age. Not family friendly !!!

Perfect hotel to visit Bath/Maine area. A sweet little town with trips to Wiscasset and Booth Bay Harbor. Stayed there especially to visit the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden, which was a total delight!
