The hotel is located beautifully and it's very quiet - you only hear the waves crashing. The beach/cliffs are just a short walk away. It's perfect for those who don't want to be in a touristic spot. The room is spacious, the staff is very friendly. However, there are some things why I wouldn't want to return, especially not if staying longer than 3-4 nights (we stayed 6 nights): the shower keeps you healthy, meaning that it is at times either too hot or too cold. It also constantly floods the bathroom no matter how careful you are. The closet smells very old/dusty. The food is okay-ish but nothing special, every egg-dish at breakfast has a weird deep-fried taste to it and the variety is always the same. The variety for dinner differs every night but you can taste that neither craftsmanship nor time or money went into the dishes. We stayed in March and had no mosquitoes, but we were also careful about opening doors/window when light is on.

Hotel had only 25 to 30 guests out of a capacity of 200 plus. Potentially a lovely place- near good walks and beach, nice grounds and rooms and good gym. But..... The spa which they are still advertising is unusuable €26 to play tennis !! The only vegetarian option at dinner, mushroom ravioli, contained meat ! No vegetarian option at all on 2nd night so we had to eat pasta and tomato sauce Laura was the only saviour as she put on a yoga class and tried to enthuse the small number of guests. The hotel is very remote so little to do locally so it needs to urgently review many aspects of its service or it will undoubtedly fail

Alle sehr freundlich und sehr nett.

Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich. Es gab jeden Tag eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen (hatten Frühstück und Abendessen). Es war jeden Tag für jeden etwas dabei. Was mir besonders gefallen hat, dass oftmals aus dem Gemüse des Vortags eine Suppe gemacht wurde, mir schien als würde sehr viel Wert darauf gelegt, nichts weg zu werfen. Der Pool war toll und schön sauber, es gab immer ausreichend freie Liegen. An der Poolbar gab es Snacks, Getränke, Cocktails zu fairen Preisen. Das Hotel liegt abseits, man hat in der näheren Umgebung nicht viel Unterhaltung, aber die Landschaft, das Meer, die vielen Surfer am Strand waren für uns ausreichend. Wollten wir etwas erleben haben wir uns in den Leiwagen gesetzt, in 10-20 Minuten waren wir an einem tollen Badestrand. Man sieht dass das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, hier gäbe es eventuell Handlungsbedarf, außerdem war unser ZImmer die meiste Zeit staubig/sandig (schon bei Ankunft) obwohl jeden Tag der Zimmerservice da war. Es war nicht dreckig, aber so wirklich sauber war es meines Erachtens auch nicht. Ansonsten Daumen hoch für die Anlage, wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt!
