Hotel Augustus

- El parking está en la acera de enfrente del hotel y es un descampado, literalmente. - La comida del buffet muy bien pero no incluye ni agua. - Piscina pequeña para las dimensiones del hotel. -Paseo marítimo justo delante pero la acera es minúscula y es imposible pasear tranquilamente. - Está bien para pasar una noche.

Die Lage der Unterkunft direkt am Meer sowie die Parkmöglichkeiten absolut top. Das Personal ist freundlich und die Auswahl der Speisen ist auch sehr gut und alles lecker. Die Zimmer haben eine ausreichende Größe und der Balkon mit Meerblick ist angenehm groß und wirklich schön. Ein absolutes nogo allerdings für uns ist der Schimmel am Lüftungsschacht der Klima sowie im Kühlschrank. Wir mussten sie zum Glück nicht anstellen, aber so etwas geht gar nicht. Die Putzfrau hat unser Zimmer gemacht obwohl wir mit dem Schild vor der Tür signalisierten dass wir es nicht wünschen. Am Abreisetag hat sie 2x Mal an unsere Türe geklopft, obwohl wir auch da das Schild draußen hatten und es noch über 2,5 Std. bis zum Checkout waren. Dass es ein lautes Hotel ist geht ja schon aus den Bewertungen hervor und darauf hatten wir uns auch eingestellt, aber mit einer dermaßen lauten musikalischen Beschallung bis 23:30 Uhr hatten wir nicht gerechnet. Wir hatten nur 2 Nächte, von daher ok aber einen zweiwöchigen Urlaub könnte ich mir so nicht vorstellen.

Part of a longer trip. Had booked a night at the hotel full board. Great value for money. Wish stayed longer. Sea is accessible from the hotel gate, nice and clean beach. Would note that you get charged for drinks/water at lunch and dinner. No poolside towel hire Available and you are not allowed to take room towels to the pool or beach.

El hotel está bien en general , aunque al tener mal tiempo eché de menos una piscina interior o spa.

Alles soweit gut,bis auf die Parkmöglichkeiten, gegenüber Parken gegen hohe Gebühr möglich ( 12.50 Euro pro Tag ).

Ein tolles und sehr sauberes Hotel,uns hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt...und die Freundlichkeit des Personals sehr gut gefallen, Das eiig negative was wir zu beanstanden haben,wir waren nur einmal am Pool,ich hatte meine Liege Richtung Toilette verlassen, für 5 Min danach war mein Handtuch vom Bademeister eingesammelt,viele Leute habe sich darüber beschwert, ansonsten ein sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel

Hotell med mye regler i bassenget. Passer ikke til aktive ungdommer. Underholdningen begynner 10.30 hver dag og er høylytt og bråkete til kl 23.30 på kvelden. Ønsker du mer ro, spør om rom vekk fra basseng og hav! Fin lokalisering, pluss for nær strand. Lite taxier i området, vanskelig å få raskt nok.

The staff where friendly and good options were plenty. Pool is in the smaller side but being closer to the beach makes it good too. They leave the fire exit at the end of the corridors open during the day for ventilation, which is a huge health and safety hazard, the staircase is right by the doors and it is so easy to fall off. I was travelling with small kids and that made me feel so uneasy!

Séjour du 17 au 21 avril 2023. Arrivée à l'hôtel après 7h de route,une seule envie se détendre et une bonne douche. Lorsque nous avons récupéré les clés de la chambre, celle-ci était sale. Le sol était couvert de morceaux de gâteaux et de sable. Je le signale a l'accueil qui m'informe que a cause de la plage qui est a côté. Je l'informe que nous venons d'arriver. 1er point négatif Lavabo bouché, chasse d'eau qui n'arrête pas de couler jour et nuit. Les chaînes de télévision française qui passent en anglais quand il s'agit d'une série américaine. Beaucoup trop de problème pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. DOMMAGE On tenait à remercier personnellement deux personnes au service restauration très souriante, aimable et chaleureuse qui se prénomme MONTSE et MARIA. Je me dis que parfois un 4 étoiles ne correspond pas a nos attentes vus le tarif payé.

La limpieza diaria prácticamente no se hacía. La terraza y el baño no se han limpiado en los 7 días. Se limitaban a hacer cama y fregar el suelo, pero quedaban la arena. El personal de recepción, bar y bar terraza muy amables y atentos. En especial un camarero llamado Zenón. Pero el personal de comer muy desagradables, poco amables y con mala cara. Nos hacían estar incómodos. El equipo de animación un 10, ellos y la ubicación del hotel lo mejor de la estancia

.très déçu de ma chambre sale, odeur pipi de chat. Les portes de placard et les sols étaient sales. Les gens de la réception pas très compétent.

Excellent stay. Everywhere is kept clean.beds super comfy.as was our room. Plenty of choice for food and the staff were very efficient, nothing was too much trouble, the outside areas are very pleasant with a nice pool.we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was our second time at Augustus, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again

Das Hotel ist soweit in Ordnung und alles wird sauber gehalten. Im Zimmer selber ist es nicht immer ganz so sauber. Das Essen ist generell okay, aber sehr kantinenmäßig. Es ändert sich immer mal ein klein wenig. Für alle ist sicher etwas dabei, das Fleisch ist jedoch eher mittelmäßig. Das Frühstück ist soweit auch okay und es immer frische Eier und Omelette. Das Hotel ist im gesamten gut, jedoch für den Preis für knapp 2000 € Woche (Hochsaison) happig, zumal man für den Safe, Parken (direkt gegenüber neben dem Hotel) und Getränke auch noch extra zahlen muss. Das Zimmer in der letzten Etage mit fast vollem Meerblick war sehr schön, die Betten aber eher drei Sterne Niveau, da extrem hart. Kissen nichts tolles.

To start with, the staff and communal facilities of the hotel were lovely. Staff were very helpful with questions about local knowledge, how to get around, booking taxis etc. The bar areas, restaurant, outdoor pool and bathrooms were all in very good condition, all clean and well maintained. The bedroom we had was on the first floor, overlooking the front of the hotel and a main road. The room was tired, and in need of a renovation. The walls had marks and paint chips, cupboard doors were hanging loose and in our room the air conditioning unit appeared to have come away from the ceiling slightly. The aircon itself took a long time to make any difference to the temperature of the room which led to us leaving the balcony door open and having to listen to traffic. The bathroom in the room appeared to have been refreshed more recently than the rest of the room and was in a much better condition, however some of the grouting in the shower was discoloured. The beds were two singles pushed together on a relatively loose frame which moved quite a bit leaving a gap in the middle which got larger through the night. On the whole, the stay was pleasant however there are definitely areas that need addressing. Communal facilities were definitely worthy of 4*, but bedroom was not.

Les chambres sont très mal insonorisées , trace de moisissures dans la douches , odeur remontée d’égout dans la salle de bain. Personnel plutôt agréable .

Hotel, rénové en bord de mer, cependant, extrêmement bruyant, nous avions demandé une chambre calme, mais nous avons subi, je dis bien subi toute la nuit, les passages dans les couloirs, les enfants, qui courent, et qui crient, les parties se claquent, les chariots de ménage et les valises qui ne font que rouler une véritable horreur!! La piscine semble propre bien petite. Pour la superficie de l’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est correcte. Le personnel est agréable mais nous n’y reviendrons jamais.

La ubicación cerca de la playa y el buffet no estaba mal, fue de lo que más nos gustó. Las zonas comunes me parecerieron más modernas que la habitación, esta aunque buenas vistas, un poco pequeña, aunque para una noche que pasamos más que correcta. No hicimos uso de la piscina, pero para temporada alta la veía un poco escasa. En primera línea de playa pudimos dar una vuelta por el paseo marítimo. La media pensión fue adecuada y variada, y muy amables los empleados.

Bien situé, en bord de mer, des chambres spacieuses, mais des matelas presque aussi durs qu'une porte en bois, merci pour le dos au reveil!!!

Airco was out of order

Staff worked so hard. Friendly, super clean hotel and pool area. Amazing really. Entertainment was great. The only thing is the air conditioning. You are forced as a guest to tolerate 24 degrees Celsius in your room. They have a strict policy about this according to maintenance and front desk. They will not decrease the temperature for the guests. Unfortunately our room had all sun exposure all day, So the coldest our room would get was 25 degrees Celsius. First 2 days I left the patio door open at night to cool off the room, but unfortunately I eaten by mosquitos, which then had a severe allergic reaction to so ended up on antihistamines pills and creams. The heat in the room just aggravated the inflammation. Hence asked twice to have them lower the temperature in the room, maintenance said they could to our section of the hotel but needed permission. Needless to say nothing was done. So great hotel, just a warning to people that are heat sensitive, do NOT stay here. I spent 5 days in absolute discomfort, the saving grace is the pool which is slightly cold, but a God send when your overheating in the room.

En general el servicio bien con excepción de algunas empleadas del comedor como una que toma notas de bebida y otra que cobra las bebidas que son muy maleducadas ni saludan ni te miran a la cara y hablan con tono despectivo

El hotel tiene pinta de haberse reformado hace algunos meses o pocos años, pero el mantenimiento en las habitaciones es escaso. La comida está bien, buena y variedad. En general el personal bastante atento, quitando a un par de personas que podrían tener un poco más de educación, parecen olvidar que nosotros somos los clientes. Aún quitando estás situaciones, en general hemos tenido una estancia agradable.

El proceso de Check-In y Check Out es pésimo. Tan solo tienen dos trabajadores y no dan a basto, se forman unas acumulaciones de gente tremendas. Además los carteles informativos en la recepción apenas se ven. El servicio de limpieza no rellena los servicios mínimos de higiene personal (toallas, jabón de manos, etc). Además, como agravante, entran en la habitación a primera hora de la mañana (a las 8:00) sin avisar, invadiendo la intimidad y la privacidad de los huéspedes. No recomendaría este hotel a ningún conocido que tenga en estima.

Right on the beach was the cherry on top for us.

Firstly, the property is on the beach which is fantastic but I would say it is much closer to Salou than Cambrils and there is a big difference in areas especially whem you get to Cambrils harbour etc. The reception staff were lovely as was the lady behind the pool bar.However for a property to have 320 rooms the pool experience wasnt great and completely over crowded as well as people can access from beach who didnt have bands so we had no chance of getting a loungers- the pool is way too small for size of peoperty. Because of this we went to cambrils beach one day and then the waterpark the other day which was fantastic. My only other niggle was breakfast and again due to volume of people the noise attack on your senses in the morning was immense. The food itself was fine and again staff were good but just not a pleasant morning experience. Okay for 3 day bresk but couldnt do any longer.

Schöne Unterkunft mit direkter Strandlage.

Hôtel bien situé entre Salou et Cambrils. Malheureusement ma chambre donnait sur la route. Gros point fort, la plage à proximité

La vue sur la mer est magnifique! Au niveau des repas, la nourriture est bien mais sans plus et le restaurant un peu trop bruyant car bcp de monde… Le personnel est bien sympathique et serviable. Nous faisions ou- 1,5km de marche pour arriver dans le centre de salou et ou- 4,5km pour le centre de cambrils. (Il y a également des bus toutes les 30 minutes près de l’hôtel) De l’aéroport de Reus, nous avons opté pour un taxi, le trajet est de ou- 15 minutes pour un coût de 37€. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour…

Fantastic location, clean and lovely pool area right next to the beach. Great choice of food at every sitting. Supermarket across the road for drinks. Ideal for bike hiring and walking into salou 1 mile or Cambrils 3 miles on safe path along the beach.

Siempre había cola para entrar a desayunar, comer y cenar..... Un estrés, mucho ruido y la gente poco respetuosa.

Not only was the hotel right at the sea, but the view from the hotel room was great aswell. The beach had lots of nice places to eat, and likewise the hotel food was amazing aswell, with lots of variety. Overall very much recommended!

Todo genial, faltaba variedad en el buffet

El hotel en general me ha gustado, hemos estado muy cómodos.La cercanía al mar, la piscina está junto a la playa. La comida muy buena. La pega es que mucha gente para las zonas de piscina y poca tranquilidad en el comedor. Pero lo recomiendo.

4 night stay for leisure. Staff lovely, entertainment team really work hard. If I had to put a negative on anything it would be at breakfast I would have like more fruit like grapes, strawberries and mixed fruit cut up ready to eat. My husband was delighted with the hot food. The only other small criticism would be that I was not able to swim in the pool as it had no area roped off for swimmers and was pretty packed. However I should have checked this out before booking. Overall we were happy with our stay here.

Séjour d'une seule nuit, l'hôtel est bien situé, avec un accès direct à la promenade le long de la plage. Le petit déjeuner comporte de nombreux choix et est excellent. Nous n'avons pas testé la piscine.
