Lovely view across the golf course & a spacious well equipped apartment for a comfortable stay. Staff we interacted with were polite and attentive. Unfortunately the pool heater wasn’t working and we were informed by a sign at the reception that the facility was still open, but the water was absolutely freezing. The spa was operating and warm, so we were able to use this. This can’t be helped, but was a bit of a dampener on staying at a “resort”. The apartment whilst well equipped didn’t have any milk, whilst there were free refills available- which was great, it would have been nice to have some already in the fridge for use. There was a tv in the main bedroom as well as the lounge room area. But no remote for the bedroom, thankfully the tvs were the same brand and we just used the one provided for the lounge, but maybe problematic if both were going to be used at the same time. A folder of information on the property, or some sort of guide on the resort, bistro menus, opening hours etc, and the facilities in the room would have been good too. We had to navigate where to find the facilities by ourselves and it’s quite a large property. Overall nothing that would preclude us staying again, but just a few things that would have made it a no-brainer to go want to book again.

We had a lovely stay - staff were friendly and very helpful when we had an issue with our TV. The pool heater was broken but they communicated this to us in advance and we ended up enjoying it anyway. The property is very family friendly and clean. The rooms are large and had everything we needed for our stay. Will come again!

The property itself is nice overlooking the Golf Course. There is a Coles supermarket within walking distance but the main town area of Victor Harbour is a short drive away. The room itself was clean but the balcony area on the ground was full of bird poo yuk! Given I paid extra for a balcony room because I like a balcony if possible it would have been nice if was cleaner. The view overlooking the golf course from the balcony was nice though.

Was a lovely area. The golf course made lovely views. Was nice to have a balcony where we could sit and watch the wildlife, overlooking a pond. Room was quite spacious and had quite a few amenities. The pool was beautiful and warm in the health club. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, the food was delicious and generous sizing. Was great how there were takeaway and room service options as well as breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. Unfortunately the room was quite outdated, even though i was under the impression it had been renovated? Extreme case of mould in the shower, bathroom vanity sink was partially blocked, the carpet was covered in marks and stains, very over due for a good shampoo. We were too scared not to wear socks or slippers on the floor as it was so grubby. When we arrived it was late afternoon and the sun was shining in through the doors, which highlighted the extreme amount of dust everywhere. Nothing had been dusted or wiped over. There were hairs on the floor of the bathroom and in the "spa". The spa as so loud it couldnt be used and looked quite unhygienic. There was dirt on the floor entry area. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and no streaming/cable on the very small tv. So really no need to have free wifi? Was a beautiful place/area. Very clean outside and nice gardens etc. Just a huge let down with the room Unfortunately.

My room was cleaned to a very high standard. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast dining was very much worth the cost and the dining staff were extremely pleasant. I also took my small dog (for an additional small fee per day) with no complaints at all.

Fantastic setting and well located. Room was generous and overall very good. Outlook over the golf course is very nice. A few chinks though as TVs were probably getting on and could be better, the wifi was way below par and the large heavy sliding doors from other rooms could be heard very clearly as other guests opened and closed them, so a bit noisier than it could be. Overall very good and we'd stay again.

Of course golfers will love the place but even those of us just after a well appointed base for sightseeing will find it excellent. While the decor isn't anything stunning the amenities are very comprehensive and we had absolutely everything we needed. Even a European laundry was hidden away so well the booking site didn't list it. We did have a couple of small maintenance issues but they were handled swiftly and all staff were friendly and helpful. It's quite large and includes 2 and 4 bedroom units plus other types. A quiet and comfortable place to stay.

Spacious room with glimpses of the ocean. Generous size bathroom with great rain head shower with excellent pressure. Helpful staff. Hotel a bit tired and reception guy told us that 40 million is to due to be spent on the place soon and not hard to see why. Comfortable-ish bed but tv was the size of a computer monitor and far too small! It’s a pity the pool is not outdoors. Location was good for us. Stayed 4 nights and would definitely stay here again.

Always a good place to stay, good service, clean, and a good location. Staff also excellent. Having stayed here a number of times over the years it is a good hotel to stay at, although the pricing is getting up there at a 200 a night for a basic room. Continental breakfast at $15 was good value.

It is conveniently located on an excellent golf course. It has an indoor heated pool and spa. The location makes it convenient to visit the local tourist attractions including good swimming and surfing beaches and wineries. There is a very good bistro serving breakfast lunch and dinner. The rooms are a good size and the staff are excellent.

Our room had a panoramic view over much of the golf course, which is beautifully designed and maintained. Even had a game (9 holes) though we are definitely not golfers! Ate at the bistro/tavern one night, which was very nice.

Had a fabulous stay this place never disappoints, one gripe & it’s just a small one is the buffet breakfast had a cost of $30 pp, this didn’t include a coffe machine it was instant coffe! If you wanted a cap/latte or filtered coffee you had to pay extra, for $30 pp I would expect a coffee machine coffee.

The resort is beautiful ,staff very friendly and accommodating Unfortunately the dining area was very noisy and my husband and I could cope with that but when the group of noisy male diners started swearing we decided not to stay and eat and left to go somewhere else for dinner. The food here is really one of the best I’ve ever had. You need to order the Lamb Chops and the $16 Pizza on Thursday nights it was amazing. Our room was fairly clean except for a couple of the pillows towards the back of the bed that had some mysterious chilli flakes and the jets of the bathtub looked a bit rusty. Everything else was great especially our balcony view of the mountains and pond. Customer service here is exceptional and everyone was really friendly. The swimming pool was a bit shallow for our liking but we still enjoyed the pool, sauna and the spa. The grounds were very quiet and no one was making a lot of noise. Was a fabulous place to get away and we really enjoyed our stay.
