The staff were very kind, polite, and helpful. I was lucky to be able to park right at the door each night and the lighting in the parking lot was good so i felt pretty-safe. They were still completing some updates to the hotel but it was not a problem. In fact made me smile to know that they are able and willing to update the hotel for their customers. The staff was friendly but the property itself is just average but the price fits what you get. The first room the tv didn’t work but they moved us to another room. The second room had cigarette burn hole in the sheets, the toilet seat was peeling, and the tub was squeaky every time you move. It is a smoking hotel so even if you get a non smoking room, unfortunately it still smells like smoke. The bed was super comfy though and the room itself wasn’t bad. It’ll due in a pinch for sure and it’s pet friendly.

For the low price, we got a clean room, comfy bed and nice shower. No coffee, but worth it. Right by the EV charger we needed! $15 for the dog was reasonable too. No complaints. BK coffee next door was just fine.

This is the most dirtiest place to stay. To start off the place just smells gross. The ac window u it have so much build up and dust that’s been built up for years. The toilet seat was the most absurd thing I’ve seen. It was never cleaned in at least the last 4 months. The shower head was broken and shot water all over the place and they knew that. I say that because the crappy floor molding was detoriated from the water and had mold behind it. The fridge cubby was nasty it looked like someone shaved there head and tossed the clippings there it’s very dirty. Also our toilet flooded and they gave me a mop with a towel not a mop head attached.

The room was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The hallways were quiet in the evening. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. Very good area, nearby plenty of stores and food. Both Starbucks and Dunkin nearby for us when we left in morning I would have liked 4 pillows on bed, 2 for each of us instead of only 3 pillows But that could be easily fixed if I really wanted to, which I didn't. If we are in this area again we will definitely stay here.

Hallways and room smelt like marijuana and cigarettes. I had a non smoking room. Room not stocked with coffee or creamers. No plastic ware on site. Sheets had cigarette burns in them. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Disgusting sheets with stains on them and what looked like puke stains on the side of the bed, bath tub was also stained in a darkish color with soot. Smelled terribly in our room and common areas. Domestic arguments outside the rooms as well. We booked it because it was cheap and were only staying a short time. We ended up staying a total of 1 hour in the room before checking out and getting new hotel down the street. $40 more a night at the new hotel it felt like we had the Four Seasons. This place should be condemned.

Black Mold everywhere I have a mold allergy so found it difficult to breathe most of my stay, so I stayed out a lot. Sheets had stains and the toilet would run all night. Staff was meh could’ve been better. Cheap rate last minute stay but would pay more for a better experience.

The gentleman working in the evening to check us in was really nice. Once we got to the room on the first floor we were able to order Uber delivery which was very convenient. Around 10/11pm the people above us on the second floor sounded like they were having a party, and the floor was incredibly squeaky and we could hear right through. The desk said they would handle it, but unfortunately nothing changed and that went on until about 1am, then stopped and picked up again at 6am. Overall the stay was fine for a 1 night stay. It was clean and the beds were comfortable, we were just kept up by others in the room above us.

First I was asked to leave a $50 deposit after they didn’t have my room that I reserved. Room supposed to be non smoking but reeked of cigarettes. Then on top of that the air conditioning button to make it cooler was broken so the room was warm all night very uncomfortable.

Think twice. Then think again. Then don’t book. We chose this place because it was near where we needed to be. Seemed like a convenient option. Spoiler alert: It wasn’t. Not even close. We pulled up to find a guy passed out in his car, people wandering around sipping beers like it was Mardi Gras—but without the fun. I turned to my wife and said, “We might’ve made a mistake.” Understatement of the year. I walked into the lobby and was immediately greeted by a wall of weed so thick I could practically taste it. (My wife later asked why I came back smelling like I had just hotboxed with Snoop Dogg.) There’s no front desk staff—you have to call someone using the lobby phone. At 5 PM, the attendant finally shuffled in looking like we’d just woken her from a nap in another dimension. I asked to cancel. She told me to call Expedia. Fine. Expedia said they were happy to refund—if the hotel agreed. I even offered the hotel $200 in cash to let us cancel. Nope. They still refused. So here I am writing this instead of relaxing. You’re welcome. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. Unless you’re into the whole “sketchy-motel-core” aesthetic, complete with a contact high and a free side of regret. This place is not safe. Drugs, weird vibes, and zero customer service. Hard pass. Expedia has since opened an investigation into this hotel.

Very basic hotel. No breakfast. Coffee in the lobby if you get there at the right time. Walking distance to the mall if that is your thing. The staff was nice enough, but this is an older property that needs a facelift.

Wow. What can I say!? This Hotel is the best hotel in all of Virginia. The staff was amazing, mainly the nice lady who worked at the front desk. I do not remember her name, but she was truly a joy for the entire week that I stayed there during my travels to Fredericksburg, VA. I did not have any plans to come back to Fredericksburg in the near future, but now I do after staying at the Econo Lodge Spotsylvania Town Center Hotel. The unlimited coffee and tea was great and the location alone (close to the nice Mall/Town Center and Downtown Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania) was super convenient. I will definitely be staying here again if they even have any vacancies, as both short and long time hotel visitors/residents were also very friendly and personable. Everyone here was super nice and the cleaning staff was very friendly as well. This Hotel, albeit the surrounding area might look a little run down, was super clean and very very accomdating. I look forward to staying here again and checking out the rest of Fredericksburg/Spotsylvanvia. Thank you.
