Puebloastur Eco Resort Hotel & Spa Gran Lujo

It is a semi-emote location (cabs to Arriondas are easy), valet parking good and the staff are super friendly. Great for a full chill out. Rooms adjacent to the pool area look the best but sadly the three rooms may as well be one as you can hear normal conversations from your neighbours, snoring coughing etc. and any other movement. Think the three rooms to be fair we all conscious of this quickly, so we all tried. The decking around the pool needs urgently replacing as it is lifting in places. Food was better in local places and genuinely was ok. Service around the bar and restaurant was unintentionally poor and the room service the same. We did speak to hotel and they had a staff meeting so assume now better. It is a lovely hotel and location, we chose after day 1 to eat out the rest of the time. I would suggest a private walking tour up the Picos de Europa and request Guillermo as he was amazing and we learnt lots and got a real insight. We spent 8 days in Asturias and enjoyed Arriondas, Oviedo and Gijon among other places. We try and eat normal local food, but also enjoy high end at times. I would suggest that a the Michelin star meal in Arriondas was outstanding (El Corral del Indianu), no English was spoken but we were made to feel very special and the food was amazing. Lunch in town was great too. Other recommendation would be to take a cab and go to the Narbasu hotel and restaurant as the food and service was as good as anywhere.

Puebloastur is truly a hidden luxury sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the most breathtaking views in Asturias. It’s the kind of scenery that instantly calms you and makes you feel a world away. Waking up to those panoramic mountain views was unforgettable. We also loved the scenic drives and stunning hiking spots. It made exploring the region effortless and fun. The staff were warm, attentive, and made every moment feel special. Restaurant was incredible with unforgettable views! Can’t wait to go back!

At first one is met by very friendly staff and a glass of wine. Ftom then on apart from the odd chocolate at night there is no service. Advertised as a spa i couldnt believe that those facilities would cost money and at an additional €45 per hour!! Per person. Bottles of water cist €5 ...thats ok, but if you order to the pool you pay an extra €6 for service!! On arrival we were told about a festival in the area and no possibilities of getting close to the villages which left us totally dependant only on the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, very quiet and even too relaxing!! The waiters and waitresses were very nice and helpful. The kitchen did their best to accomodate us as vegetarians. The pool is small - water very cold. Not too much to do in the area apart from nice country walks.

Not as shiny as on the pictures. Staff is welcoming and kind and polite but restaurant service is chaotic… ordered wine not found, food arriving with no plates or cutlery on the table… food is average / weak, and service is simply not managed, had not been organised / trained. Breakfast needs to be paid for at astronomical prices separately… and again food seems to be a joke. Omelette with jamon is served as a couple of non organic raw eggs with large chunks of the fat of jamon for about 20 EUR… For some reason only 1-2 clean towels are brought to the pool… so when a family of 4 comes to the loungers you have to beg for more… Better skip the place / not planning to return, and glad I only stayed for a night as part of a 2 week trip of north Spain. Also, pool area is covered by 10 or so year old painted wood instead of stones so it’s a miracle no one got splinters… Head over to: Narbasu Restaurante y Hotel - about 15 min drive away - if you want Excellent food coupled with super well executed / well trained and customer focused / calm service!

Peaceful and beautiful hotel. Excellent to disconnect.
