Lovely place and people, will come again.

I booked the apartment room for one night. I was traveling by myself and had a long journey that day. Upon arrival, the host told me that there had been a 'mistake' and that she had given the room away to other guests. She showed me my booking that she had printed out with BIG BLACK BOLD letters across the top confirming the room my type. So I am unsure how such an 'error' may have occurred. Anyway, I am usually flexible and understanding, so when she told me that she had one room left, I asked to see it. The 'room' was actually on the end of the property and the size of a closet. No exaggeration. To top it off, it had no windows. Considering it was mid-August, I asked how I was supposed to cool off let alone breathe during the night. The owner told me I could keep the door open. Ummm........ok. A lone female leaving the door to her closet (room) open all night to the street/courtyard. And I could have all of this for 8 Euros off the original price she told me. What a deal! I obviously declined. I believe that since I was traveling alone, the owner gave the better rooms to couples and thought she could dump me into the closet which suspiciously isn't even listed as an option for this place. To top it off, she said she wouldn't accept the charge for the booking as it was her fault. Well, she did and I had to take the time to contact Expedia customer service who then sent her an e-mail as she was 'unavailable' to come to the phone. Avoid this place.
