Having visited many Manorhouses, Plumber Manor does not hold up to the standards you would expect when paying this much per night. Blankets instead of duvets. No body lotion. No conditioner. Burnt food at breakfast. Waiting half an hour for staff to take your breakfast order. Bar opens at 6 PM. The list goes on and on. While being spotlessly clean, it is old and outdated. And maybe that is some of its appeal for those liking this place. For us however this was not for

The hotel is stunning and the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. We could not fault the food, whether it was breakfast or dinner. Our room was situated in the courtyard area, which is only a short distance from the hotel.
