Very convenient spot to stay and visit Juno beach, bayeux and the American beaches. Parking was a bit tricky at times, need more spots to park.

Location was amazing. Easy walk to town and really nice to park on site and be a walkable to sights and restaurants without having to use pay parking. The property was beautiful. Room spacious and shower was lovely. Room fridge was appreciated and used. Cold water in room was a nice touch and enjoyed. The on site bar was well stocked with a great variety of top shelf options at reasonable prices. Front desk gave excellent advice for restaurants and even called ahead for reservation. Breakfast was amazing, many more options than usually offered, even fresh cooked eggs. Aude was an excellent host and a wealth of information for The guests.

The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was very small and there is no elevator. The desk attendant did show us to our room and did volunteer to carry our suitcase up the staircase. Luckily I was traveling with my husband, so he did the heavy lifting. Believe them when they say the restaurants nearby are only open for a short time for dinner. Most stop taking new customers after 8:00. And there are no other dining option nearby. Overall the hotel was nice and is in a great location to explore the historic beaches nearby.

We loved our stay here. Its like a hotel in a French Manor. It was lovely, rooms were spotless, staff was friendly. Bar onsite has great wine, beer and snacks. Grounds were impeccable. I would love to come back in the summer.

A pleasant stay with super friendly and attentive staff eager to make arrangements for special requests. It’s within walking distance of town (10 minutes at most) but secluded from tourist traffic. The only drawback is the stairs are narrow and winding, which made it challenging to carry our suitcases up two levels (there is no lift). Of course, the staff offered to do it for us, but we declined. The room had a great view of the town and ocean, and was clean and relaxing. Even got to enjoy the pool despite it being a cool, windy and cloudy day. The water was heated, but not too heated, and was able to get a decent swimming workout in, even though the smaller size made for frequent turns. Overall, I would stay here again

This is not a big chain hotel with cookie-cutter amenities and sterile facilities. It presents as a family run, quaint, quiet and comfortable place to stay while exploring Normandy. The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. The facility is not brand new, but is well-maintained. I would and will stay here again.

A very nice hotel, close to the beach and town centre. The swimming pool and sunbeds are well kept. Our room, on the third floor, was comfortable but a little on the small side. It was really only suitable for a short stay. Breakfast was plentiful but, at 18 euros was overpriced. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful, and spoke good English.

We were on a 16 day European road trip and stayed here after seeing the DDay beaches. It was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been on, US and abroad. We got there very early in the morning from Paris. They had plenty of parking and held our bags until check in. When we came back to check in they had already put our stuff in the room! Every staff member we spoke to was incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was very very clean and spacious. I didn’t hear any outside noise either. Towel warmer was nice too! Less than a 10 min walk to Gold Beach. I highly recommend staying here.

Rooms were perfect. Comfortable beds, very stylish, updated and modern ( better than expected). Staff were friendly, professional knowledgable of area attractions. Their lounge was the perfect cozy spot to share a bottle of Bordeaux amongst friends and recap the day. Breakfast -delicious. I will definitely share this location w/friends who visit the region. Facility was surprisingly better than it presents online when booking. Do not miss this one! Book it-you will not be disappointed!Fanny and assistant were Awesome!

The hotel was just outside Caen in a quiet little village. The drive to Caen for our tours was lovely and scenic. There were several restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms are simple but spacious and have large baths with great showers and it appears that they were recently renovated. While we did not have breakfast, there is a bright breakfast room with a lovely spread. There is also a small sitting room where you can enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.

Great stay for 4 nights in Normandy after having arrived on the ferry from Portsmouth. Hotel was ideally located for Arromanches, a nice seaside town famous for being the centre of the D-Day landings by the British on Sword beach and the location of the Mulberry B harbour which still dominates the sea horizon. The hotel was just a five-minute walk into the centre of town and the beach. Rooms were clean and modern, but a bit warm as there was no air conditioning – the hotel gave us a tower fan. Breakfast was good, but there was no room service or evening meals available – which was not a problem as there are plenty of restaurants in Arromanches. The hotel staff were very helpful during our stay, helping with car hire and a tour we booked. Would return based on the location and friendliness of the staff.

Nice location. Nice hotel rooms are slightly small. Also no air-conditioning. We had a hot week. Issue with Expedia trying to adjust the before cancellation date. Expedia says they couldn't do it because the HOTEL had to do it emailed HOTEL. They said they couldn't do it because Expedia had to do it so had big issue at the front desk changing from three nights to two nights they wouldn't relent at first, then they finally came in, but will have to check our bill at the end of our trip

Wonderful stay at the Villa, we loved it. It's clean, modern and yet in keeping with an older property, with its position on the edge of town easily a short 7 minute walk to local restaurants and beach. Beautiful outdoor space to enjoy and great location for access to the local areas central to the Normandy beaches. Loved it, thank you to all the friendly staff.

We were on a 16 day European road trip and stayed here after seeing the DDay beaches. It was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been on, US and abroad. We got there very early in the morning from Paris. They had plenty of parking and held our bags until check in. When we came back to check in they had already put our stuff in the room! Every staff member we spoke to was incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was very very clean and spacious. I didn’t hear any outside noise either. Towel warmer was nice too! Less than a 10 min walk to Gold Beach. I highly recommend staying here.

To start off. The gentleman who we checked in was kind and helpful. It was so confusing to find the reception. We go to the correct hotel and the restaurant server (female 7pm) basically kicked us out and was no help. We called the number to the hotel and the nice gentleman helped direct us to the reception area, which was at the Pollard hotel. See why we were confused? We now have the code to the door to enter. The same rude females waitress tells us we can not be served. We did NOT want a meal we wanted to find our room. She was so rude: Our room was lively up until 5am when there was on going noise. Plates and carts being towed across cobblestone and conversations from the ground level. No sleep after 5am. I would not stay at this hotel or on Saint Micele again

This was a dream come true. When we drove up we were transported to an earlier time in history. We were looking for the complete French country experience with all the comforts of a modern hotel. This exceeded our expectations. The rooms were lovely and when I opened my window in the morning, there were sheep grazing right outside. It was a very short walk to Gold Beach and about a 10 minute drive to Bayeux where we caught our tour. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was delish. After we walked back from dinner we would sit in the bar for a last glass of wine before bed. We just loved it.

Location was amazing. Easy walk to town and really nice to park on site and be a walkable to sights and restaurants without having to use pay parking. The property was beautiful. Room spacious and shower was lovely. Room fridge was appreciated and used. Cold water in room was a nice touch and enjoyed. The on site bar was well stocked with a great variety of top shelf options at reasonable prices. Front desk gave excellent advice for restaurants and even called ahead for reservation. Breakfast was amazing, many more options than usually offered, even fresh cooked eggs. Aude was an excellent host and a wealth of information for The guests.

A very nice hotel, close to the beach and town centre. The swimming pool and sunbeds are well kept. Our room, on the third floor, was comfortable but a little on the small side. It was really only suitable for a short stay. Breakfast was plentiful but, at 18 euros was overpriced. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful, and spoke good English.

Hotel was in perfect area, just 5min walk from the city. Service was really good and especially little bar in the evening was nice to have. Only minus was that the room was little too hot for the hot summer and also breakfast could be more versatile for example berries.

This place is so beautiful! Really makes you feel like you are in a French Chalet. Conveniently located so it's easy to walk to the town and starting point for your Normandy Beach trip. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and our stay was wonderful. HIghly recommend.
