Our room was clean and serviceable, but Econolodge needs to spend some money on upkeep of their property. Our room had a desk chair with upholstery that was split, and a hole in the wall where the door handle had knocked it in. A simple doorstop would have prevented this. The water fountains and the pop machine had signs that said "Temporarily out of service."

Don't stay in room 118. We stayed in this room last spring and the bed still has a big dip in center of it. The top safety latch on the door inside was broken off and the side entrance door was broken. The side entrance door didn't close all the way unless you pulled it shut so that means anyone could have walked in without the key card to open the door.

First room I got had bed bugs in it, informed the lady at front desk. She acted like she didn’t want to give us a different room and asked if we still wanted a room. Get a second room no bugs but there was dried blood boogers on walls and burn holes in bedding.

We stayed for 4 nights and not once did they clean the room or change out linens, when we got to the room there were no wash clothes and had to go ask for them, overall wasn't very clean. I am usually pleased with Wyndham hotels, this one was very disappointing.

Average hotel. The battery in the fire alarm died the first night at 2230 and the alarm started beeping . They came and replaced it with an old battery which died the next morning at 0820 and the beeping started again. The switched it with the old one and that died again after 2200. They came and replaced it with the old one and the beeping started again in the morning after 0800. Clown show haha.

Staff was kind, welcoming and helpful. This is an older hotel. It’s been renovated, at some point, but still looks old and worn. Our door was wonky and didn’t fully fit the door casing, so it would rattle from air or other doors opening and closing. We solved the problem by stuffing washcloths in the cracks. Overall we were comfortable for the night and it met our needs. It was fine for an overnight stay, but if we were staying in the area for a longer period of time, I would consider other places for more amenities.

The on-desk manager was horrible. She was unfriendly, downright rude at times, non-accommodating and non-responsive. When told that a lamp in the room was not working properly, she said she would be right down, but never showed up. She was very insensitive when we inquired about our cell phones not working: "that's not our problem." She was totally insensitive to our obvious displeasure with the dingy condition of the room and general interior of the building (very unappealing). In fact, the ceiling in the hallway in front of our room was dangerously sagging. The exterior of the building lacked any landscaping and was very distracting. Her specific response to our displeasure was a very curt: "want your money back?" We were very pleased to answer: YES.

Housekeeping was requested and we were ignored for several days before we got the garbage taken out and more toilet paper delivered. Many lightbulbs burnt out in fixtures making it very difficult to read in the darkness.

Hotel Staff was absolutely amazing. Helped with bags, and had fantastic recommendations. Jessica went above and beyond, and after discovering our refrigerator was not working properly, had it swapped out with another in less than 10 minutes. Very clean, breakfast was delicious and easy. Once again, thanks to Jessica for helping a disabled Vet have a simply wonderful stay!

After I checked out I realized I left my phone in the room , I came back and the receptionist she allowed me to go up to the room without a hassle , the room was clean and tidy , we were able to get more towels without issues , great people!

Our room was clean. The breakfast was awful...diluted juice, waffle batter that got stuck in the container, eating area that looked like a prison eatery. No butters, jellies, smallest coffee cups ever, no one to re-supply milk pitcher or anything else. Pitiful. Nobody emptied our room's garbage cans or even gave us new toilet paper. Very bad. The only reason to ever book this hotel is that it is fairly close to the Garden of the gods, which is a delight to hike through.

You get what you pay for. This property is close to Shawnee National Forest Locations but this isn\'t a high star hotel. It seems to be newly renovated but some cleaning services leave much to be desired. Tub had a huge wad of hair clogging up the drain and some of the mattress covers were questionably "clean" and looked spotty. Hallway outside the room is very echoey. The staff here were amazing and check in/out was very easy. The location of the hotel is tucked behind some parking lots with not a lot of food options nearby. If you plan on just having a place to sleep while visiting the park this place is pretty decent.

I picked the motel because it is close to a rail trail that I could bicycle on. Everything about my stay was fine, a B- for the $90 price tag. Everything worked; everything was clean enough. It was very quiet and close to a Kroger and restaurants. The breakfast was very basic, but it was available.

Hotel was fine but quite expensive for what you're getting! Staff was friendly. Only complaint is that it says "free breakfast" which was only coffee, juice, a packaged honeybun and an apple. It's time for hotels to quit using COVID as an excuse for this. They should definitely remove "breakfast" from their website.

The beds were super comfortable. The property in general (carpeting, outside, etc) is worn and dated. But everyone was super friendly and clean. Breakfast was lacking (only cold cereal and prepackaged danish), you know, I guess since Covid you can get away with that. We found a really nice coffee shop downtown with excellent breakfast sandwiches!

Have stayed here multiple times in past and enjoyed my stay. This time wasn’t the same feeling. First off, website said only a couple rooms left to reserve. Got there and the lot was empty except a broke down truck with a tire missing and trashbags over windows, parked right up front by doors. Check in was quick. First room had a broken heater and the room was freezing cold. Front desk changed our rooms promptly and gave us the room over. Room felt bigger with a nicer layout. Cleanliness was the other issue. 2 pillow cases were visibly stained. The bathroom sink was clogged and we found dirty towels next to bed as well as on nightstand. Bed was comfortable and the heater worked well. Check out was again quick. No breakfast was served or stuff left out. Had juice matching and most likely stale cereal in a dispenser. Overall cheap stay, but not the cleanest.

The room the first night had 2 bulbs out over the sink, no kleenex, and shredded sheer curtain. Got a different room the second night and the toilet was actuality dirty. The breakfast was actually horrible. We will never stay here again when we return to Harrisburg.
