Don't book for a Sunday if you want an evening meal, despite the listing showing it has a restaurant, it won't be open. Presumably the hosts eat but they won't feed you. The nearest place to eat an evening meal is a pizza place about 20 min walk away (nice little place and good food!). Back to the hotel, power sockets hanging out the wall, soft and fairly small bed, barely enough shower gel provided, one toilet roll!! No A/C but a noisy desktop fan is provided. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't take it (too expensive) and would rather stop at a pattisserie for fresh food at a fraction of the price. Overall quite disappointing for the price.

Sur la route de retour des vacances, Le Merle Blanc fut le bienvenu, avec le confort et la propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bains, avec l'accueil de la dirigeante et la qualité des plats maison du restaurant (Tous nos encouragements au jeune serveur). Et pour conclure, un excellent petit-déjeuner continental. Dans les axes d'amélioration, nous citerions une vrai table de nuit de chaque côté du lit (Mais c'est une tendance inexplicable dans beaucoup d'hôtels de ne mettre qu'une table de nuit d'un côté) et plus de prises

nous sommes des personnes d un certain age ;samedi soir nous allions a une réception rendez vous:17h30.a Digoin. nous sommes arrivé a l hôtel à17h : heure prévue à la réservation. Personne à l' accueil, nous avons tel à la responsable,qui était là et qui sait montré très désagréable; pour lui demander la clé de la chambre. Réponse : l' accueil ouvre a 17h30 !!. nous lui demandons gentiment de vouloir ouvrir 10mn avant pour changer de vêtements ,nous venions de faire 300km réponse:non !!!! elle a ouvert a 17h35. donc nous sommes repartis habilles comme nous étions.Nous avons pris les petits déjeuner au bistro en face;a 8h15 l accueil était toujours fermé.;nous ne recommandons pas cet établissement.
