Cedar Breaks Lodge - Studio Suite | Sleeps 4

I was sick for 3 weeks prior to our stay and was unable to exercise. I was really looking forward to working out, swimming and the steam room. The previous year I had cancelled our reservation because the pool was closed. I was reassured that the pool would be open this time. We didn’t find out that the pool was closed until we walked over from our room expecting to get a workout in before we left to visit a national park, We used this as a home base and spent the day at a different national park each day. The parks were beautiful and the leaves were changing from bright yellow to red. It is an excellent place for that. The beds were comfortable. The couch was like sitting on plywood. We were on the 3rd floor. We left the windows open and the fans on. We turned the heat off. Even though the outside night temperature was in the mid 30s-low 40s at night, our room was in the high 70s with the windows closed. It was just right with the windows open. It would be very hot in the summer, as there is no AC. The staff was very helpful. We called for maintenance twice and they were quick and helpful. We brought our own food for breakfast. The kitchen was well stocked. We ate dinner by the national park we visited that day. I felted cheated because the exercise room, pool, sauna, and steam rooms were not available. Especially since I was guaranteed they would be open! The rest of the stay was wonderful and relaxing.

The rooms have all been recently remodeled. We had a kitchenette to cook our meals and a fireplace in our bedroom. Everything was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staf was so helpful. The location was beautiful at 9600 ft. Because of the remodel, the pool and fitness rooms were closed. There was an outdoor gas fire ring and grills available. Parking under the building was tight for large vehicles. But there was extra uncovered parking available. Laundry room was nice and clean with a table and chair available. Laundry soap was complimentary. The ski resort was only a short distance up the road. We did the scenic chair lift. We could see all the way to Nevada.

Pool area has need of attention: the jacuzzi doesn't function properly (a known issue to the staff), the sauna room hasn't had a door handle for years, etc...it's this lack of attention to details that are troublesome.

Great value for the price. Pool and hot tub were nice, lots of games for family (pool, ping pong, air hockey, volleyball net & more). Room was very nice and clean but rather stuffy due to no AC. Open windows with fans helped. BBQ area and fire pit was very nice with great seating. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was spotless—clean bathroom, fresh linens, no weird smells, and everything worked the way it should. After a long drive up the mountain, it was a relief to walk into a place that felt organized, quiet, and well-kept. The amenities were a big highlight: the pool/hot tub area was clean, warm, and perfect for unwinding, and the common areas felt cared for without being stuffy. Location is awesome—right in Brian Head with quick access to town and the resort, plus great mountain air and views. Parking is convenient (the garage is a little tight if you’re in a bigger vehicle, but totally manageable). Overall this was a comfortable, low-stress stay and exactly what we needed for a reset weekend. Would happily come back.

Although our trip didn't go as planned, amd the pool and spa was undergoing a remodel, the staff here was great, the place was nice and in a great location. Good value

The room was spacious, clean, plenty of towels. Especially love the swimming pool, steam sauna and dry sauna. And the employees are very friendly and professional. Great experience.

Staff is excellent and they checked in to make sure we didn’t need anything. Suite was clean and well stocked. Unfortunately, there were some minor inconveniences (no WiFi, pool & elevator issues, a day without electricity… just to name a few) so I could not give this a 5 star rating.

It was not disclosed on website or when we checked in that there were renovations going on in the front lobby. It was very noisy and dusty. Also, there is no coffee -the coffee lounge was closed-no signage. There used to be a nice shop there with essentials, gifts, coffee shop, etc. The bed was hard.The restroom needs a better cleaning-the flooring and tile.

Rooms were big, nice and clean. Did have a bit of a weird smell though…

We stay at Cedar Breaks every year. This year we came to a room with dirty dishes neatly stacked up in the kitchen cabinet, later the dishwasher clogged up while we were using the kitchen sink actually and the water was all over the floor. But the maintenance guys came very quickly and fixed it. So a big thank you to them!

We booked a "studio with 2 queens." No A/C, but windows open a bit. High/low in-room temps were 76/72°F in our east-facing room w/ no afternoon sun. Cool/cold evenings w/ some wind-plan accordingly! Underground parking, & central, well-lit, above-ground parking. The main building has the complimentary spa amenities: pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, & locked bike/ski storage, restaurant, game/library room, etc. Our room had newly remodeled everything. Ceiling light fixtures, bedside lamps, a big window. Bedside tables include a wireless charger/various other ports for charging. The "kitchenette" included mini fridge/freezer, large microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink, soap, scrub sponge, dish towels, paper towels, dishes, flatware, garbage can, table, 2 chairs. The room's gas fireplace did not get used in July. Central area outside has 3 gas grills w/ tools, picnic tables, gas fire pit, playground. There are few grocery options in this tiny town; eating out has expected resort pricing. The bathroom had actual cabinetry and drawers. Vanity height was fairly low, and ceiling head-height was a bit low (to accommodate the venting). I'm 5'8". There is exactly 1 place to purchase fuel in Brian Head. It only sells expensive 91 octane ethanol-free fuel. Fuel up before arriving if you plan on any driving for sightseeing. Cedar Breaks Nat'l Monument is nearby and highly recommended, as well as Brian Head Peak via its gravel road. There are also amazing hiking and biking trails.

Like the room sizes. Nicely rennovated but forgot a few things. No hooks anywhere. Mirror above dresser in bedroom would be helpful cuz bathroom is small.

Love this place. Neat and clean, spacious and quiet. Really appreciated the kitchenette and full size coffee pot. Only complaint was the height of the tub sides. I'm 5' and it was difficult to get in and out with a slippery shower floor.

Warning rooms have no Air conditioning! Rooms were hot. They did provide a noisy box fan, but that didn't help. The bar closes at 9pm.

Rooms need renovation, they are small, outdated, dark and dingy. There is some renovation in progress. The main building to check in is very nice and houses a restaurant and indoor pool. The pool is big and beautiful.

We stayed in a newly renovated 2 queen room. It was huge! So nice to have a full fridge/freezer/oven/stove. Especially for the price! Loved the pool, fire, and game room! It was a little rough not having AC....but with the window open and the fan, it did help :)

Front desk agent Ryan is fantastic! I have stayed many times in the last 3 years. Ryan has always given 5 star service. He is always welcoming and helpful. I do really appreciate his service and wanted to acknowledge it to management.

We received the absolute best service possible!!! From the moment we arrived, throughout the check in process, and everyone we came in contact with, they were all friendly, helpful and really wanted to make sure that we were all taken care of and having a wonderful time!!

Fast check in room was clean excellent staff

The check-in desk staff was rude. When I asked about hotel facilities, they seemed angry and unfriendly, which made me uncomfortable. So, I couldn't ask about things like the restaurant and the pool. Heather too noise.

This staff is top notch. Kudos to Audrey, the management, and housekeeping for their excellent customer service.

Good property for a get-away; however, check in experience ruined my stay as the front desk staff was unkind and arrogant. Have had better customer service at other Hilton properties.

Great place to stay when you want to ski. The back of the parking lot connects to the Navajo Ski Lodge lot... Great access. Hotel was clean with great amenities.

Excellent location, a 2-minute walk to the lift, not to mention a few hundred yard walk to a convenience store and the snowmobile touring company. I will return next year.

We have stayed at the Hilton Vacation Club Cedar Breaks many times. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well-equipped. We love the jacuzzi after a day of skiing! The location is awesome- right next to Navajo Ski Slopes and a 3-minute drive to Giant Steps.

This is basically a club resort. Restaurant and bar ok. Breakfast isn’t available. this is a wonderful area you can drive to the top of Brian head peak and Cedar brakes. National Monument is just down the road. The off-season rate can’t be beat.

Decent resort next to a loft and lodge. Underground parking is first come first serve, but there are plenty of spaces outside as well. Food here is just OK. Plan ahead if you’re staying in Brian head as there are only a few restaurants. I would recommend bringing your own food for some of the meals.

room was nice however said their was breakfast was none restaurant only open for evenings , no early breakfast anywhere in town. Was offseason however said July was fully staffed and second busy season.

What a stunning view we had of the fall colors on the mountain! Our room was spotless. We had TWO fireplaces, a full kitchen, and a bedroom separated from main space by doors on either end of the short hall for extra privacy (bathroom off the hall). It felt like our own apartment away from home. The staff was incredibly professional, helpful, warm, and hospitable. The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious. I recommend the fish & chips - the cole slaw is so creamy. The hot apple cider drink with whipped cream and cinnamon sprinkles on top... yum! Ivan at the front desk and Elsie and Michael in the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience. If you need anything last minute or souvenirs, Apple Annie's Country Store across the street came through for us - complete with a friendly resident mule deer that hangs out on the porch! We would love to come back and stay again.

This could have been a very good stay, but the onsite restaurant ruined it. The room was very nice, they have underground parking which would be great when there is snow. We were on a cross country trip and stayed at the hotel off season (no snow yet.) The property is nice, although the manners of the staff need work. Both at the front desk and particularly at the restaurant. The front desk wanted an email for the receipt (won't print one), but still didn't send one. They also didn't know how to give instructions to the parking or building without being asked to explain themselves. If you are going to give directions, it is best to have a map/layout for reference since building numbers don't mean anything to a newcomer. The real issue was there are very few places to eat in Brian Head offseason, so we booked at a place with a restaurant. However, when we went to the restaurant, my wife who has several food allergies asked to for some accomodations on the menu so she could get a meal there and was told that they would not do that. We have never had such a lack of accomodation anywhere, most places are very helpful, this one was not only unhelpful, we were not able to get a meal for her there. Totally unacceptable behavior.

Our room was comfortable and convenient. Facilities are well used and show wear but were adequate. The dining options were limited with only dinner available at the hotel. For breakfast guest have to visit another hotel.

I was completely disappointed by the property. The restaurant is open at 12:00PM and no breakfast is served. There is nowhere in town to get breakfast. No store on property to get a snack or water bottle. Very disappointed.

I wish the restaurant had more expanded hours. Nowhere to eat in the morning besides around the resort. You’re basically forcing people to eat somewhere else or bring their own food. Besides that, I choose to stay here for every time I stay overnight in Brian Head. It’s awesome.

I would easily give the hotel a 5 star, but I’m very frustrated with the restaurant. In a small village such as this one, with very limited dining places, the restaurant is overpriced, with a small selection of choices, and it was closed on of our nights, forcing us to walk to the hotel next door to have dinner.

Always enjoy this hotel. Great friendly staff. The dinner was very good. Lots of upgrading going on. Look forward to coming back. Food options for breakfast very limited almost non-existent. Thank God for Mtn. peak Cafe. Very good food and coffee!
