This property needs updating and thorough cleaning. The non-smoking room smelled awful, dirty tile in bathroom, doors and windows chipped and broke. The pool was closed for bo apparent reason and breakfast was 2 choices of cold cereal, plus 3 other cold items. I wouldn't have minded so much for half the price

We stayed the night because it was convenient for a Dr Appt. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Check-in was easy as I done most of it online. The parking lot was well lit. The property was clean as was the room. It obviously was an older property, but well kept. We would stay here again if needed.

This is your typical, rundown, 1 star motel. It needs a lot of work for it to make a 2 star review. Place needs new carpets, repaint, and general upkeep. It was a bit on the gross side.

The room door was spotted with hand prints and grease smudges. The room smelled dirty, really dirty. It was a challenge to sleep in that room due to the smell. Breakfast was paltry. I do not recommend the Days Inn, Russell, KS.

You could easily spend 3 times more elsewhere for the same hotel room that I stayed in at the Russell Days Inn. Very clean and had all the amenities I needed. It was obvious that the owner/operator took care of the property. Will stay here again if opportunity arises.

We had roaches in the room as soon as we walked in. The shower had was broken and most of the water came out the back of it. The shower valve was also broken so getting hot water was an ordeal of twisting just right. When i spoke to the front desk the next morning they said there is nothing they can do. Avoid this hotel.

This was a basic stay in a motel. It was recently updated and was clean. The staff recommended a restaurant across the street and it was good food. Actually, the steak was so huge the plate could not hold it. The bed was comfortable.

Did what we needed to do which was offer a need halfway across Kansas. Room was dated but functional. Definitely seemed a little dingey Being able to walk in was a plus for getting sleepy kiddos and stuff in quickly. Breakfast was sub par. Just a lot of cheap carbs and sugars. Consider having some sort of protein - even just yogurt or hard boiled eggs

Our stay was fine. The mattress was very comfortable and the room was clean. However two issues made our stay less than good. When we arrived there was a sign on the office door saying use other door and an arrow pointing to the left. It was extremely hot and windy. I looked several times for another door to the left. The gentleman at the desk saw me but didn’t react. I finally went the other direction from the arrow and found another door. He apologized for the sign and put up a different one. In the room, there were light fixtures mounted on either side of the bed but they must’ve been mounted when there was a smaller bed because they were right next to our heads when we were sitting up in bed. We both bumped our heads on them more than once. I would not stay here again because of the wall fixtures.

Motel didn’t have my Expedia reservation upon checkin. Had to navigate through the ridiculous inefficient Expedia call center. This took 30 minutes to do talking to numerous Expedia support personnel. They finally called the motel and I finally got checked in.

Check in staff was very nice. Room was good for the price - but not refurbished. Not bad... just not sparkling, but that's what you expect for the low price. The breakfast was pitiful. No bowls out for the oatmeal or cereal.
