The hotel lobby and bar were interesting and fun. Live music each night. The parking was easy and included. The rooms were musty with very little air flow even with the window open. The bathroom fan did not work to take humidity out after a shower.

Wonderful hotel with big, clean and well maintained rooms. King bed was an actual king bed size and rooms come with a little bar area where you can enjoy a drink or use the fridge to store your food. If you want, you can get a Google TV from the front desk to stream movies or shows from your phone. Hotel has great dining options, a nice bar and great breakfast. Plenty of parking is available.

Positives- Great location. Beautifully decorated boutique interior. Good toiletries. Great staff. Excellent cooked to order breakfast as well as continental buffet. Amazing food at West. Negatives- Double bed is two beds put together which was a bit uncomfortable. The shower gel dispenser did not really work properly since water was getting into it. Parking was very tight. Service in both Pins and West was slow to start and then picked up.Dinner at Pins wqs a littlw disappointing. These were some little things the hotel could improve on. The positives however were more than make up for most of it. Would definitely stay again

We loved the Twelve and staying just outside Galway. The Twelve has great restaurant and bar options, big rooms and helpful staff. We ate in both the gastropub and the fancy restaurant and both were excellent. Breakfasts were also wonderful. We really enjoyed coming back every night and having a great place to stay

Great property and location but could benefit from an update. We stayed here two nights as we traveled around Ireland. The room was very good sized, the bed was very comfortable, and the room and property were always very clean. The hotel is cute but looks like it could use small updates to truly capture its theme. We ate breakfast at the restaurant two mornings and found the food to be very good quality with a nice selection of items on the breakfast bar in addition to the customized hot meals. We also ate in The Pins restaurant one evening and really enjoyed the pizza and dinner salads. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. Even without updates we would stay here again!

Great location outside the city, perfect for my ferry out of Rossaveel the next morning. Knocked it down a star for how horribly disappointed I was by the mattress with springs jutting in to me, noise of the heating unit and mildew in the shower. Dinner in the restaurant was decent, breakfast great as well.

We had the family suite which had a nice large space. Everything was fine except that the varnish on the tables was very sticky. Felt like there was a film on the tables. There was dust in the coffee cups after taking out the pile of creamers. The fairy door was a quaint little extra and the gift cards for the kids to get a treat at the bakery was a special touch!

Lovely room, great breakfasts, lovely friendly staff. Nice having choice of bath or shower. Loved the hand written welcome note and Voya bathroom products. Both restaurants super and nice having the choice. Bed not as comfy as expected but a great size. Tap & sink in the bathroom was leaking.

Great stay for a quick visit to Galway. A bit far if you're planning to spend most of your time in Galway City (had to wait a bit for taxis, buses weren't too frequent) but the village area was lovely and more quiet. Blackthorn restaurant was so delicious! Rooms were a little dated but still very comfortable and clean.

The twelve was an excellent stay, so nice to have a suite style hotel with an extra wet bar and couch room. The record players in the room were a lot of fun. Because of this place, I’ll always remember Meatloaf’s “Bat out of hell”. Staff was great and the restaurant for breakfast and dinner room serve was excellent.

Staff was very polite and helpful. Location was good. Breakfast was also enjoyable. The facilities were in need of upgrades, carpets were worn out and walls needed repaired and painted. Rooms on street side were pretty noisy from traffic. Rooms on other side much quieter. Only stayed one night. Was not disappointed, but not overly impressed either.

The hotel was is beautiful. The tiny touches make it feel special. We stayed in a king suite which was a luxurious space and very large with a couch and a bar space. Our room came with breakfast which was delicious. We also ate at the restaurant which is good with plenty of great beer options. The only point lost was our cable didn’t work due to the wire coming out of the wall. The staff working that night tried their best and made a quick fix, but with so much attention to detail I was surprised by the error. Would absolutely stay again.

The folks there were just awesome! We were greeted with a handwritten note by Isabella along with a homemade treat! The location was great. The room was enormous and the bed comfy. Breakfast was a real treat! We loved being so close to the water and would definitely stay there again. It was a perfect location for our day trip to Kylemore Abbey!

Fantastic stay at a wonderful hotel. There was everything we needed for our stay and the staff were very efficient and helpful. Room was spacious and well equipped with a super comfortable bed. Breakfasts were excellent and a wide choice of both cold and hot food made to order. The recommendations from staff were really helpful in regards to some local areas to visit and using the bus service into Galway. Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate staying again. Thank you for making our stay so memorable with the ‘Happy Birthday’ message and sweet treat for my husband when we arrived.

We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. Staff was professional and helpful, printing out the bus timetable for us.

This was an exceptional hotel with great staff. We enjoyed our stay there while exploring Galway and the west of Ireland. It is not downtown Galway, but it not far and the property provides a very nice and quiet alternative to the downtown hotels.

Great hotel with wonderful customer service and a delicious full breakfast. Nice and quiet. Great area but the taxi ride to the center of town was about 15-20 minutes. Would definitely stay there again. Be sure to have dinner at O’Gradys on the pier which is a short walk away. Fabulous!

Breakfast was great but in the evening we had ordered pizza which was regrettable. The sauce was never absorbed into the dough and all the sauce, cheese and toppings remained on the pan.
