This impression is determined by the receptionist's way of meeting me at check-in. The first thing I hear is credit card and passport, followed by the fact that I have to pay 50 dollars in security (doesn't go with cash, if I put it on my card I get 2 exchange fees). Already here I have got a negative feeling about the hotel. Being therefore positively surprised by the room, which is large and airy. The beds are comfortable and the sofas really comfortable. However, the TV is oddly placed. Not directly in front of a bed or sofa. Good storage space. The toilet is fresh. The door to the toilet is however broken, only hangs on an upper rail this causes the door to fall outwards.

We did late check in. Place is quiet, clean and well kept. Has insite restaurant and bar. Complimentary breakfast in the morning . Well kept property and the staff is friendly and allowed late check out due to medical reasons.

Excellent check in with Maged, enjoyed complimentary parking, location, used pool and laundry facility. Pleased with breakfast which was open until 9am, but at 8:15am, the staff was busily packing up the dining areas, closing down seating during a peak time for breakfast before guest check out, and that was very discouraging to see people get turned away from seating, while chairs were being stacked on tables, in an attempt to clean up early.

Our room was clean and spacious. Nice bathroom, good water pressure. Staff was friendly and responsive. Free parking. Breakfast was just okay and closes at 9 am. A bottled water was $6 and an ice cream was $5 which is typical hotel pricing. I’d recommend getting bottled water at a grocery store or Walmart. A few restaurants in walking distance. Pool isn’t very big.

I enjoyed the outside patio area for my morning coffee/breakfast. Walkable to a many nearby shops and even the outlet mall. Try Mochinut! They are delicious.

The staff was very nice and hospitable. The food service was good. However, if you don't have a private vehicle, transportation is non existent. There's no taxi service, and it takes about an hour to get the Uber service they recommend. There are a number of malls within the vicinity, it would be nice if the hotel offered a shuttle service to them.

Apparently, these Reviews are for a public forum, our experience was less than satisfactory due to a lack of housekeeping for our room. It was Very Poor. In our four day Hyatt Place Wesley Chapel stay, the Housekeeper for our room #406 cleaned ONCE. Dirty towels piled up, as did trash and beds unmade. I will address our multiple complaints with Hyatt Hotels directly. Two unhappy guests from MASS.

Beautiful rooms and very clean except for the cover to the ice bucket. YUCK, mold growing on the cover, probably 2 weeks worth? OTHERWISE OUTSTANDING!!! Very quiet, breakfast was delicious, and staff was very pleasant. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, easy on / off the highway. You can walk to several restaurants in the area or drive. Loved this place, would stay again if in the area!

Pool area simple and clean, kids enjoyed. Our room was great, other than seeming like the carpeted areas hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Immediately upon arrival lots of long blonde hair was entangled on my 1 year olds hands when she crawled across the room.

This hotel is clean and well- maintained. The room was very spacious and my family of 5 could stay very comfortably. The breakfast was delicious and they staff there was very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Front desk staff did a great job with check in despite the internet outages. Breakfast was your average breakfast buffet. Breakfast/restaurant staff were amazing!! Constantly replenishing breakfast items and cleaning all the time. Friendly and caring. Housekeeping staff did not do a good job in our room. The bed was poorly made, they just pulled up the duvet cover over the crumpled sheet underneath, the garbage was not removed and our used towels were still on the floor in the shower. Someone needs to be monitoring the housekeeping staff. I would stay here again.

Lovely updated and comfortable in a great location. Things I did not like were the aircon seemed to be set on a timer at night and the room would sometimes get hot, also, the rooms are not soundproof.

Perfect locations, a lot smaller than it seems. Hotel rooms had some minor inconvenience upon arrival. AC didn’t work in first room. Got sent to another room, only to find out 2 days later that the refrigerator didn’t work so we had to toss our food and things out and have the staff put some in their refrigerator. Outside of that it was nice.

Bed pillow top mattress lopsided probably due to people sleeping on one side or another. Near highway and could hear it. Shower nice. No microwave in room. Small sink area in bathroom for 2 people's toiletries. Lighting in bathroom not good for putting on makeup. Internet went in and out. Friendly staff and accommodating.

This still feels like a brand-new property in the hot retail area of Wesley Chapel. It was convenient to the Tampa Outlet Center as well as nice restaurants like Ford's Garage. Property is super clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Only negative is that there was very little water pressure in the shower on the 5th floor. Otherwise, this was a really nice stay.

The bed mattress was so old. There was a hump in the middle of the mattress! Carpet was old and felt gummy on the feet. Had to wash my feet the first night and wear shoes. There was a drip off and on all night from the air. Could not figure out where it was coming from. The view of our suite was of a roof (both windows). I would think this would be something the front desk would warn against. We had too much luggage to change rooms. Coffee was not supplied in our room after the first day. Just disappointed and rooms need a lot of attention. Will not stay here again.

Hello, I checked in around 4pm, was given a room on the 2nd floor 203. The room was 80 degrees and I called the front desk. They said they would send maintenance up. Waited 20 mins still no maintenance so I called back to be switched to another room only to be told “we don’t have any rooms left and we’re full”. I told the young lady that it’s now 81 degrees and it’s too hot. Maintenance came an additional 5 minutes later, called the lady and told her in the AC was broke. She then told me she would move my room after just telling me the hotel was sold out. I’m very disappointed in my stay and treatment. I think customer service is critical in roles like the front desk reception. I was late to my event due to initially not being moved in the original request.

The lady at the front desk empathized when I told her I was a Moffitt customer coming for chemotherapy. Cynthias assistance and care every day at breakfast time and the consideration of giving me a room close to the elevator. What else can I say you are all amazing reason why I booked the next 3 chemo sessions to stay with you.

Staff, at the counter not friendly. Night service lady at the counter was rude, looked down as she was interacting with me, no eye contact. I felt treated as a child when I brought down from my room the curtain remote control. No please return it to the room sir. Instead, she said put it back like she was talking to a child. She said she will send a maintenance person to check on the remote. When the maintenance person came to my room, he thought it was the tv remote. So, clearly the lady at the front desk was not paying attention, didn’t seem to care. The young lady who checked me in no smile at all, not welcoming. Seems like a training issue on both ladies. I have experience on customer service for 40 years in three different industries. The staff could do better.

I had one of the best stays ever here! My room was clean, hotel was clean. Breakfast was great with lots of options. ALL of the staff were amazing! Kind, helpful and attentive. The area felt very safe and you can walk to malls and to eat. I have friends in the area and I very much look forward to visiting again. Thank you for such a great stay!

The staff was excellent! Tony the front desk assistant manager was so nice and fun to talk to. He gave us ideas of what to do around the area that didn’t even have brochures. I also want to thank the maintenance man that fixed our shower. The pressure for the shower was very low so I saw him and asked him if he could do anything for it. He immediately came to our room and fixed it. Great stay and great staff!

A little disappointed in our check in experience. We were greeted after a few moments and given our room key. Never told the hours of the breakfast served. We inquired about the service in the dining area hours. We took our bags to our room and came down for a quick dinner. There were several at the bar and we sat at a table and waited for a server or someone to ask about ordering. That never happened. After waiting for quite a bit for a waiter or bar tender, we got up and left. Probably would choose another place to stay next time.

The property itself was okay, but it was the staff that made our rating poor. When we got there, and tried to check in they said we were too young even tho we checked beforehand what the minimum age requirement and we were above the requirement. I confirmed over the phone ahead of time at that exact hotel. The employee at the counter wasn’t able to check us in and when we asked for the manager she was unhelpful and rude. As you could probably understand we were upset about the whole situation but she was extremely condescending and talked to us as if we were children not adults. She had to call two managers above her and she was unfamiliar with her own hotel policy. After 15 minutes of trying to check in we were finally able to check in and did not receive any compensation or discount for our inconvenience. When we got to the room, there was a pile of hair on the bathroom floor. We have stayed at other Hyatt’s before and had a good experience, so hopeful it was just this one hyatt that was bad.

Not aware of ADA laws for persons with service animals. was asked to leave the dining area with my service animal. not an emotional support animal, not a pet, an actual service animal that is trained in alerting me for my medical condition. the women in the kitchen/pantry was rude and loud when she told me to leave. It was quite embarrassing. I was not allowed to get anything to eat or drink. I would not recommend anyone with a service animal stay there.

This Hyatt is located at the end of a plaza with a Mini Golf (Putt Shack), Dollar Tree, Floor and Decor, Hobby Lobby and several different dining options from Fast food to sit down meals. It is also located directly across from Tampa premium outlet with more food options.

I loved this hotel. It was really nice. Felt a bit elevated above others in the area without much extra cost. Near so many great restaurants and stores. New and attractive area but quick run to other areas off the parkway. Clean and elegant with an excellent breakfast included. Lots of options all really nice. Great coffee and a bar! Nice pool. I would 100 percent plan on staying there again.

The hotel and staff were amazing. I had surgery that day at the thyroid Clayman center and it was about 35 min away. A great stay for a pre and post surgery stay. Rooms were spacious and so close to shopping and dining. Worth the extra few minutes. And also if visiting Tampa in general., great location. Highly recommend. Ty to all the staff.

It was tucked at the corner of a business cul de sac and across the street was a Tampa outlet mall and also around tons of restaurants and 1/2 mile off of hwy 75. Great location with lots to do, nice staff and very clean. Highly recommend,

Nice hotel. The breakfast food was good, but service not great. The hours were not that long and the staff was literally taking food away from customers as they were standing in line for the food. It was crazy; I’d never seen anything like it.

Excellent check in with Maged, enjoyed complimentary parking, location, used pool and laundry facility. Pleased with breakfast which was open until 9am, but at 8:15am, the staff was busily packing up the dining areas, closing down seating during a peak time for breakfast before guest check out, and that was very discouraging to see people get turned away from seating, while chairs were being stacked on tables, in an attempt to clean up early.

Walking distance to shops. Very clean. Close enough to Clearwater to drive for the day. Only con is the way the team members treat the guests when they serve breakfast. They watch the guests like hawks. It’s really weird.

Our room was clean and spacious. Nice bathroom, good water pressure. Staff was friendly and responsive. Free parking. Breakfast was just okay and closes at 9 am. A bottled water was $6 and an ice cream was $5 which is typical hotel pricing. I’d recommend getting bottled water at a grocery store or Walmart. A few restaurants in walking distance. Pool isn’t very big.

While checking in, we were told that the breakfast would be served between 6:30 and 9:30 AM, however, when we arrived at 8:56 AM, the breakfast section was being cleaned up and it was so quickly wrapped up that by the time we went to the front desk to check the timing and come back to see that the breakfast section has been cleared. Also, the bathroom door was strange and had to struggle to open, close and lock/unlock. Overall dissatisfied with the experience.

It was a last minute decision to book and we had to get ready for a dinner last minute and we were put into a corner room but the chain lock was broken and the manual door lock was broken. Half way through my shower, a gentleman opened the door and started to come in. Imagine our surprise. Why did he come in, I don’t know but he did apologize. After that I was so freaked out I couldn’t stay there and we decided not to come back that evening.

For the most part, the hotel was nice. It was clean comfortable beds to sleep in space was nice in the room but the things that bothered me they have a full bar, but they have no way of making drinks. Everything is missing something an example would be they can’t make you a piña colada because they have no coconut rum. They can’t make you anything else cause I don’t have grenadine. The bar was not up to par. The breakfast spread was very nice lots of variety, but the scrambled eggs taste awful to the point. I couldn’t swallow them. You had to spit them out. The staff was very friendly up until my departing day. I was being told they were going to charge me for a coffee, but I had never been charged for on all the other days eventually he just said it’s OK I won’t charge you, but I didn’t think that was a correct way to be since no one had charged me before overall I would give it four stars because nothing is perfect
