The only reason the facility gets a 3 is not because of the hotel itself.. I’m giving a 3 because the hotel offers a third party company for valet. Valet parked my car that night but valet was not available the next morning. I had to go find my own car which is fine if I had not paid for valet.

The elevators were out when we arrived on Saturday and were out this morning when we were checking out. We had to lug our belongings down 4 flights of stairs x2. Not worth the money at all. The rooms were subpar, the electrical outlets didn’t work, house cleaning didn’t come to our room.

They lost power at 10pm in a very hot/ humid city. No AC and no lights. Hotel should have backup system in place. Im sure it happens a lot at this location. Bad managment of how to deal with loss power. Not accecptable!! Fix it now!!!

Let’s talk Pro’s & Con’s of this place. Pro’s, the staff was wonderful, pool was fun, breakfast was good and the hotel was beautiful. Con’s, our 1st room smelled so bad we had to move, hair in shower and restroom. 2nd room, a bed bug in the pull out couch and stains/hair in sheets on bed. We won’t be back.

Good value as it was cheaper than comparable options. Staff was great, facilities are nice but was some dirt on floor in our bathroom, and whatever they used to mop floors made them feel kind of greasy, but all around we were still pleased with our choice of hotel.

Lax housekeeping. Ice bucket and glasses covered in sticky goo. Found previous guests Apple iPods in case under the bed. Shame housekeepers don’t check there. Window blind would go up and then not come down, come down and not go up. Noisy drunken guests next door.Thank goodness I had a sleep mask for the broken window shade and ear buds for next door neighbor.

Overall, a wonderful room in a nice location. Greenville is awesome! One drawback, and this seems to be a problem across almost all hotels. Thermostat control. Making the room warmer was almost impossible. Finally, I inadvertently turned the fan off, and that was good enough for me. If they are not going to install easy-to-use thermostats, then they could at least provide clear instructions, or a link to a YouTube video about it.

Overall, a great place with convenient downtown location. All of downtown is within walking distance. The location is also surprisingly quiet. The hotel and room were exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was better than most hotels. We never did see evidence of the advertised in hotel restaurant. The only negative aspect was the bed. The mattress was old and sank to the middle. It provided no support.

Finally got the temp down to 81. It was 89 upon entering room. Attempting to get ready and apply makeup in a room that is nearly 90 is miserable. I call the front desk and they seem uninterested to help even an hour and a half of it running and not coming down temp wise. The night staff finally moved me rooms at 1130.

The motorized window shade was broken for all 3 nights, making it difficult to adjust the view and sunlight. The desk manager did not seem to take the matter seriously. When we complained multiple times, his only response was that he had offered to move us to a queen bed room. Since we had booked a king size, this was just an offer to move to an inferior room. A simple apology would have been a better response, or if he wanted to show concern he could have offered something like taking off the breakfast or parking charge. Disjointed in Hyatt's customer service, if not its inability to repair a mechanical defect for 3 days, 2 off which were weekdays.

I was traveling solo with my 17 month old daughter, and I booked this about 10 minutes before showing up when my original accommodations didn't work out. The hotel itself was fine, but when I arrived, no one was at the valet stand and there was no sign saying they'd be back. After driving 7 hours that day, I sat in the driveway waiting while my daughter napped in the back. I finally called the front desk to ask if someone was available and they assured me they were probably parking another car and would be back soon. Normally, this wouldn't bother me, but this was the only parking option. When the attendant arrived, he was short with me about not parking on the correct side of the road, even though the I was where all the signs were pointing with literal arrows. I had a ton of bags, and not once did he offer to help. I had to ask if he could grab a cart for me. It was super wobbly and he just stood there and watched me struggle. Same thing in the morning! It was the same attendant and I got the same treatment even though I left a tip when I used the link to have the car ready. I'm a successful business owner, but I look much younger than I am, especially on a roadtrip. I feel like he didnt treat me the same as other customers, or at least I hope he doesn't treat everyone like he did me. I appreciated the standard later check out, but had an awful first and last impression.

We were not told breakfast closed at 9 AM. The gentleman running it offered to do a go box for us and he was nice but we still missed it because we didn't know and I was unhappy about that.

Everything was great accept the breakfast. We always stay at Hyatt's and this time the breakfast options and quality were not good at all. We left and went to pay for breakfast at the Westin Hotel.

Fantastic staff, easy checkin, large comfortable room. The kitchen could use some tlc, they were only able to offer one menu option at the bar, a hamburger, due to the fryer being broken. It was really good though!

Such a great spot close to everything in downtown Greenville. Not just saying this, but the breakfast buffet was hands down one of the best I've had at a hotel! We'll be back!

Nice hotel, great location within easy walking distance of everything downtown. We encountered two issues: the main light in our room was nonfunctional and though we reported it to the front desk they never relayed it to Maintenance. Also they told us breakfast went 'til 10:00 am, but it was only 'til 9:00. So we lost out on breakfast, which we learned the next day was VERY good - so, bummer.

The property is a bit old but seems to be well maintained. Housekeeping did a good really good job. My only complaint is breakfast is only served until 9:00 am and it’s a very sparse selection

We liked staying at the Hyatt Place Greenville. Our only complaint is the bar food served in the evening. My husband order a pizza that was served to him still frozen in the middle. The hotel did not charge us for the pizza but we had to leave the hotel to find food elsewhere.

Our stay was great. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.Temp in the room Wass excellent. There were some small stains on the bedding but that can be expected with white linens. We used the pull out sleeper sofa and wished for a duvet/softer blanket for that bed as well, though Im sure if we asked the front desk we could have acquired one. The phone line to front desk line did not work, and one of the outlets by the bed did not function. That said, there were plenty other plug ins and we were certainly able to meet all of our needs to charge devices/run travel fans etc. We did wish for microwave access somewhere on the second floor, and the pool water was a tad bit dirty, but the pool space itself was lovely and relaxing! Overall, we had a really good time here! We would return. Location is fantastic.

We had a very nice stay at the Hyatt. Great location, friendly staff and easy parking in the garage across the street. The reason for the rating of 4 was because the air conditioner in our room was very loud which made for an unrestful sleep. The lobby had nice amenities but the lounge areas and tables were constantly dirty. Breakfast was okay. The fresh fruit had a bad odor and they served the same food every morning.
