nuce clean hotel bedding good but room was quite chilly for us did serve us food before time which was nice has we looked for quick stay didnt relise no lift witch was quite upsetting has we both had walikn issues im a full larengetomy re cancer so my breathin going upstairs wasnt good did help with main case goign up coming down the stair wa not nice

Amazing stay at greenhill! Lovely building super clean! Rooms amazing! Also loved the fact they allowed digs as we had ours with us too! Bedding changed daily! Biscuits and yea/coffee/water in rooms was a lovely touch! Breakfast really good and we had an evening meal one night which was equally as nice! Would definitely stay again!

Well what can I say apart from it being absolutely spot on from start to finish. Warm, friendly staff. The food was something else! Quiet and comfy bed and being right on the side of the A595, nice and easy to get to.

Stately looking hotel, ideal as a wedding venue. Room was good size but bathroom was particularly small and shower almost useless. Evening meal and breakfast were both good without being exceptional. Service was friendly but lacking efficiency.

Beautiful building. Great parking. Downstairs rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was great. Staff could not have been any nicer. Many, many positives. However. Our room (6), which was a quadruple room, had a few issues. The beds were the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. The windows were very dirty and painted shut. The bathroom needs a complete upgrade. Having said that - if we were in the area would we stay there again? Absolutely. Just please get new beds!

I enjoyed my overnight stay. There is plenty of parking, the reception area is spacious and welcoming, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and light with windows on 2 sides. The food I had for dinner and breakfast was very good.

Spacious and very clean room. It was very quiet in general so easy to get a good night's sleep. Food in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking. All in all it was just perfect.

There was a function the night we stayed there. I think they should have kept enough parking for hotel guests so you didn't have to walk thru the total parking lot. Planned on eating dinner there When we arrived they told us they weren't serving diner, because of this function. Sent an email the day before. Could have informed you earlier

Everything fine and lovely place although it a little tired, superb value for money. Great for our little dog but we should have brought a water bowl!.

Bedroom and bathroom decor were tired and dated; in need of a refit & refresh, though fairly clean. I slept fairly well though was disturbed by bright security lights just below the window, ?chiller units running all night and then erroneous whistling and humming in the corridor from 0600.

The bathroom had cracks in the floor tiles and smelt damp. The wind noise was incredible. I was in room 11 and thought the windows were open. I didn’t get any sleep and told the man in reception and the lady serving breakfast. When it says cereal for breakfast and yogurts I was expecting a variety of cereal, fresh fruit and yoghurt. But there was small 3 small boxes, rice crispies, bran flakes and I think it was cokopops. There was no choice of milk. Overall very poor and won’t be recommending it or staying again.

Overall we had a lovely stay at the Greenhill Hotel. The food was excellent and all the staff friendly; especially the lady serving breakfast who couldn’t do enough for us even when we came down to breakfast late on the last day! I do feel the room rate is a little high considering the bedroom furniture is looking a little tired and the cleanliness of the shower left a lot to be desired but this was pointed out and some money was knocked off our final bill.

Overall we had a lovely stay at the Greenhill Hotel. The food was excellent and all the staff friendly; especially the lady serving breakfast who couldn’t do enough for us even when we came down to breakfast late on the last day! Building, grounds and dining area together with the food was lovely. Room very dated. TV position not ideal, could only watch it if sat up or on left side of bed. Cracks on the bath panel and a hole on the radiator cover. Dead flies on window sill.

Nothing wrong with hotel, staff or service etc. My issue was I booked a superior room at £120 based on the image of the shown on Hotels.com; my room was in fact the exact one noted at £92 as a standard double room. Nothing superior about it, en suite was tiny, shower was very poor.

Excellent hotel in good location between the Lakes and Carlisle. Service good and evening meal on mid week deal was very good. Room was fine but the taste of very fresh paint a bit overbearing. Bare floorboards - much prefer carpet. Bathroom small with a tempremental toilet flush.

Stayed for 1 night check in easy room was nice bed comfortable. Shower was poor however for an old building can be expected but bathroom itself could do with a lick of paint, mold ect. Got a good night sleep quiet room. Food was excellent however service poor. Expect a wait as was busy but waited 30 minutes after our booked in time for someone to take our order. Also on a number of occasions staff walked passed our table nobody asked if we wanted a top up of drinks. Went to bar area but was no staff anywhere. Gave up in the end and went to bed. Breakfast was excellent as was the service. Overall food was top notch but let down by poor service. Room was adequate for what we needed as only staying 1 night.

Got a good night sleep quiet room. Food was excellent however service poor. Expect a wait as was busy but waited 30 minutes after our booked in time for someone to take our order. Also on a number of occasions staff walked passed our table nobody asked if we wanted a top up of drinks. Went to bar area but was no staff anywhere. Gave up in the end and went to bed. Breakfast was excellent as was the service. Overall food was top notch but let down by poor service. Room was adequate for what we needed as only staying 1 night.

Keswickから思ったよりも近かかったのがよかったです。周りにはお店等はほとんど何もありません。施設は古いですが、昔の邸宅のような雰囲気で、部屋は広く、快適でした。朝ごはんは、1階の素敵な雰囲気の食堂でフルブレックファーストを食べることができます。ゆったりとした時間を過ごすことが出来ました。

Excellent hotel in good location between the Lakes and Carlisle. Service good and evening meal on mid week deal was very good. Room was fine but the taste of very fresh paint a bit overbearing. Bare floorboards - much prefer carpet. Bathroom small with a tempremental toilet flush.

Well what can I say apart from it being absolutely spot on from start to finish. Warm, friendly staff. The food was something else! Quiet and comfy bed and being right on the side of the A595, nice and easy to get to.

Stately looking hotel, ideal as a wedding venue. Room was good size but bathroom was particularly small and shower almost useless. Evening meal and breakfast were both good without being exceptional. Service was friendly but lacking efficiency.

I enjoyed my overnight stay. There is plenty of parking, the reception area is spacious and welcoming, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and light with windows on 2 sides. The food I had for dinner and breakfast was very good.

Spacious and very clean room. It was very quiet in general so easy to get a good night's sleep. Food in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking. All in all it was just perfect.

There was a function the night we stayed there. I think they should have kept enough parking for hotel guests so you didn't have to walk thru the total parking lot. Planned on eating dinner there When we arrived they told us they weren't serving diner, because of this function. Sent an email the day before. Could have informed you earlier

Beautiful property with such character and distinct features. Can understand why so many people have so many functions here (weddings/proms/birthdays etc.) Lovely old building with high ceilings and well designed interior but improvements needed in the rooms or at least the one we stayed in. Was not too keen on wooden flooring, lack of hanging space and poor water pressure and a loose toilet handle which the staff are aware off and have assured no major incidents should occur. Tea tray is as very difficult to use due to being low down and no table for it to be placed on top of. Plenty of parking and breakfast was delicious, could not fault the food and the staff. We’re not ones to complain but staff did empathise and were able to accommodate where possible which was really lovely. If you are in the area and would like to have a night or two to unwind we would definitely recommend !!!
