I arrived after midnight so the shuttle is not available and this negated any advantage to stay close to the airport. Also there are no elevators on the upper part of the hotel and I had to carry my bags last 15 steps even though there is a ramp to get around the other first 30 steps. Breakfast was minimal so I skipped paying extra for it. Overall, convenient one night location in the area but not more than that.

A great hotel for before/after a flight. Really nice, clean, modern room. Though we had the disabled access room which only had one small window. But the room was spacious and completely fit for purpose. Staff were friendly and helpful - providing a cot for our baby and a kettle so we could make the baby bottles of milk. The pool area was nice, clean and very warm. Pool towels provided on request. The pool was next to the Irish bar that is part of the hotel, which was small & quiet and just acted as a pool bar mostly for residents. It was reasonably priced and served snacks, small meals and drinks. There's also a small children's play area and small gym. We ate in the Italian restaurant for ease, which is part of the hotel. The setting was nice and staff and food were good. Transport to the airport was easy and quick. Good value for money.

Excellent 3 night stay, bar staff were lovely and helpful, rooms were small but only there to sleep. Shame they don't have an iron on site for clothes, staying for just 3 night's, we didnt have enough room for a travel iron in our luggage. Pool was a good size and the bar person was great

Rent,fräscht och väldigt mysigt .Fantastiskt mindre poolområde med bar och restaurang. Allt smakfullt och snyggt. Gratis transfer flera gånger per dag i minibuss till stranden och flygplats. Men så härlig miljö på hotellet att vi gärna stannade där. Återkommer mer än gärna och rekommenderar verkligen!

The room was not clean, there was a strong unpleasant smell, and it felt like no proper cleaning had been done before arrival. During the night, it was extremely loud – I could hear everything from the hallway and neighboring rooms, which made it almost impossible to sleep. Paying 80 euros per night for this is outrageous. I definitely would not recommend staying here

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. Highly recommend to stay here. The rooms are very clean and adequate to our needs. The cleaners come in every day to refresh the towels. All the staff are very friendly and helpful with every you need. Excellent shuttle service from pick up from the airport and taking back to airport. The shuttle also takes you to the beach and back. The breakfast is amazing a varied choice to pick from. This hotel I would highly recommend for a chilled and relaxing holiday. The amenities are brilliant ie swimming pool also at the this hotel.

Unique about this place was the stains all over the wall and curtains, also mold growing on the surface of ac-unit. Silverfish brought this place to life 5/5 wouldn’t recommend.

It's a great hotel, close to airport, beach some shops in quiet area. Offering also free airport transfer. The room is clean and comfortable, has a nice pool and Italian restaurant. Only one thing is bathroom needs a good clean as it's a little bit mouldy.

We only stayed one night, so we didn't complain about the fact that the air conditioning unit dripped so much water on the floor, it was treacherously slippery. The courtesy shuttle was perfect for our needs and the pizza was delicious and the staff were great. It's not on the beach (which I thought one of the photos implied), but it's very convenient to the airport. Overall, if you need a place to stay before your flight out of Malaga, this is a good option.

Property is no frills. Ok place to stay before the airport. Nice pool. INTERNET/WIFI is less than 10 kbps and often times out. If working and travelling be aware. Next time will try the Holiday Inn.

Room had air conditioning, mini fridge, small seating area outside the room. We booked a double bed room, it was two single beds pushed together, and two single duvets. The beds were not secured down so during the night the beds would slide apart. The power in our room randomly cut too, but this issue was quickly resolved. Definitely a humble but respectful place to stay, would definitely come back. My only ‘complaint’ is the free shuttle service starts from 5:00am, and you must book the shuttle 24 hours before you request the service (unbeknownst to us prior to arrive at Malaga Airport). Due to the service start time, we had to book a £20 uber to the airport as we had an early flight home.

Front desk crew was wonderful. Held our luggage until room was ready. Had such an early flight we needed a taxi, they had one there right on time at 3:50 am!!! We also ate the Italian restaurant at the hotel. Great service and wonderful food! Great stay all around!!

Second time stopping at hotel zen for 3/4 day trips. Last trip 07/22. Staff brilliant, rooms clean, and only 10 minutes from the airport. Pool area kept clean and communal areas kept clean. Communication was very good, we made an error on our booking and hotel zen were quick to message us and rectify the problem for us. The only negative if you can even call it that was due to our late flights in and early flight out the free shuttle to and from the airport was not available, this was communicated to us by the hotel prior to departing, this was not an issue for us and we picked up a bolt taxi on the app for less than €10. We used the shuttle down to the beach and it was on time both ways and very welcome in the heat and saving us the walk back. Would definitely reccommend hotel zen for short stays and would not hesitate to go back again.

We have used the hotel as a Step Stone to the airport when we leave early. We booked and got a written receipt for morning transportation. However when we tried to enter the bus in the morning we were told that they hadn’t planned for us to join. We could show the formal reservation we had received, but they didn’t care. They had planned otherwise. So we had to hurry a get a cab. This was the situation for more guests by the way. I tried to write a complaint to the hotel twice but they don’t even care to answer. So my recommendation if you are looking for a reliable Airport Hotel is clearly to disregard this hotel. An airport hotel that can’t handle shuttle bus planning and given 2 chances to react to complaints regarding this, is simply not worth using.

There was a strong odor in the room that made our eyes and nose burn. Our lips were tingling as well. When we brought this to the receptionist’s attention, she assured us that an “ozone machine” that they have been using since COVID will solve the problem. Well, it did nothing and we then asked for a different room, to which we were told was not possible. We asked for the manager but was told there was no manager and was given a generic email address we could write to. We did send a email to that address, but heard nothing back and it has been more than 5-6 days since. Whatever the odor was, it was harmful and toxic and we could not stay in the room. In the end, we were able to find an alternative room in another hotel 2 min walk away from Hotel Zen and left. This was a very disappointing experience on our last night in Malaga.

After several calls and a 1 hour wait the shuttle finally picked us up from the airport. To use the once every 2 hours return the next day, you MUST be able to show a boarding pass. We had not checked in, so didn't have a boarding pass, and was refused a ride. We stood in the rain and watched a half empty shuttle leave for the airport while waiting for our Uber. The staff are very unhelpful and aggressive. To get to the room, you have to leave the reception, cross the carpark and climb a very steep path. Next morning in the rain it was treacherous, nothing to hold onto. The room was tiny and badly maintained, a small worn out bed and a falling apart toilet seat. Breakfast was basic. Only hot sausage, bacon and torte. Missing even continental items, no rolls, fruit yogurt, or fresh fruit. Set on a hillside in a residential area, not close to the airport or the resort. I would recommend forgetting about shuttle, pay less and take an uber to a nicer hotel in the resort.

Lovely small clean hotel with all the modern facilities one would expect. It is slightly off the beaten track. However, there are bus stops and a local train station within 10/12 minutes walk of the the hotel. There is small super market, chemist and a few restaurants on the way down to the main road. It will take you approximately 30 minutes to walk from the hotel to the beach.

yo amor esta hotel. es muy bien! de mi llegar a mi partida era perfecto. dando la bienvenida personal era contento y experto y util y amigable estoy aprendo habla espanol y yo era siempre intentando, ellos eran siempre paciente y util me encanto todo la decoracion zen. bonito! la habitacion era solo bien para mi. gran ducha, cama comoda y bien balcon. necesito mucho almacenamiento para ropa n el bano piscina decente con solárium y muy tranquila útil gimnasio. y me gustó mucho el bar, al que iba todas las noches muy feliz aqui y definitivamente regresaré mucho gracias. nos vemos en 2024...

Hade inte så höga förväntningar men möttes av trevlig personal och en väldigt fin och fräsch anläggning. Rummen är precis som många andra skriver väldigt lyhörda, men med öronproppar funkade det bra. Sängen var för kort för mina 174 cm, fick sova med fötterna utanför haha. Dyrt i restaurangen, en liten liten sallad för drygt 9€... Annars, rent och fint, fräscha rum, trevligt och bra för övernattning då jag skulle till flygplatsen tidigt dagen efter och kunde utnyttja deras transfer-tjänst!
