I was told (and it was advertised onine) there was a small gym there which helped me choose it over others because I do physical therapy and cardio in the morning...only to find when I got there that there was none. I basically could have nothing of the breakfast items as there was only sugary kid cereal and no protein items. When I entered the room there was a slight foul odor. It was fairly clean and the temperature was fine

The property needs to be updated. I took pictures of the entrance way which is very poor disrepair. I saw someone almost trip from the loose pavement in the entrance when you drive up.

Charged twice. Someone was put in the same room and harassing me at 1am. Garbage in the back hallways. Not a secure building. Says they have crib for infant and don't. No gym room.

Staff was very efficient, helpful and friendly. Corey is a 5-star front desk man. Breakfast was pretty meager compared to other hotels we had stayed on over this trip. Waffles are good…but, having fruit, juices, peanut butter and some choice of jams would have helped. The ice machine didn’t function well either.

Area around property littered with trash. Elevator smelled of Marijuana. Plug in air fresheners in rooms and common areas in an attempt to mask odors. Only burned my throat. Other guests noisy. Bathtub faucet constant dripping. Served its purpose for one night stay as hotel is close to Howe Caverns. Otherwise... I would not recommend.

The views are AMAZING. So peaceful. Room was ok. Not much in way of staff. Exercise facility closed ... I think water damage. Fine for an overnight but I would not recommend a prolonged stay.

The property could use some upgrades, but ut was still convenient,comfortable and cost-efficient. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. We will stay again, probably on our return tri.

We had to change rooms due to the smell. The new room wasn’t much better. Dirty. Handles missing on furniture, stains all over ceiling. Toilet broken. The front desk gentleman tried and was very kind but the rooms are disgusting. The breakfast was limited and poor. I wouldn’t even use the water to brush my teeth. If there had been options I would have left the hotel. Very disappointed. Never again.

They don’t change sheets between check - in & check - out . My bed was full of hair and dirty. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is old and dated.

Stayed here for 2 nights. I did not have high expectations, but it didn't even meet those expectations. The room was not clean. Dust and dirt all along the baseboards and edges of carpet. The chairs in the room must be at least 20 (if not more) years old and we're absolutely disgusting. We didn't sit in them because of it. Thankfully, the bathroom seemed clean but I still wiped down the surfaces with a disinfectant wipe. Switches were dirty as well (I also wiped hose down). The mattresses were stained with who knows what. The second good point was no sign of bugs (specifically bed bugs). I check for them as well as I can in every hotel. The place is old and needs to be updated. I don't mind old if it is clean and this was not clean. Our TV did not work either. The Continental breakfast area was as expected as far as offerings, but again, just dirty. The chairs were disgusting and need to be replaced. One positive was that the staff was very friendly and responsive. I had to ask to use a different card for my charges and it was no problem. I requested more towels and he got them immediately.

BEWARE!!! This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in! We had two rooms and they were both really dirty. One of the rooms doors didn't even shut properly and we had to pull it shut every time we left. Bedspread had a red stain on it, chairs wobbly and felt like it would break if you sat on it, toilet clogged and when we told someone, they brought us a plunger to do it ourselves, shower sprayed water onto the floor and didn't drain, shower head was broken in one of the rooms, musty and damp, carpets were stained and frayed and felt grungy, layers of dust when you ran your finger across anything, and when we left, they tried to charge us again for the rooms that we had already paid for even though we had a receipt that we had paid. We will never use a quality inn ever again. Definitely not quality, even for a dog.

There were bugs--a lot of them both alive & dead--in the first room they put us in. Beetles, not roaches or bedbugs, but still really, REALLY disgusting. They did promptly move us to another room, and we found 2 dead beetles there, but we decided to stay. Also, lots of peeling paint in the first room--especially the bathroom. Lots of cobwebs in the corners in the second room, but overall, that is better than beetles crawling all over the place. The mini fridge has no shelves in it, but it keeps stuff cold. Bed is comfy, lots of hot water, & the furniture in the room is in decent shape. Breakfast was nothing to get excited about--dried out bagels but no cream cheese, no fruit, no yogurt, etc. But they do have a waffle maker--but bring your own butter & maple syrup if you want the good stuff, not margarine. The place needs some TLC & an exterminator. It could be a really nice motel with a little effort.

The hotel bed was clean, which is the bare minimum, and the TV worked. However, the sink in my first room was clogged, so I requested a new room. The beds and the room were clean, but the room felt a little run down. It could be better. The carpet in the room had a few stained spots. It's not terrible, but it's not great. The furniture is a bit old and run down, and the building needs a significant paint job inside. The WiFi worked fine, but it was not super fast. You could browse the web, send emails, and scroll on Social Media, and that's about it. So, I would say this hotel is okay if you need a room for a night or two. I was not disappointed because it was very convenient for an event I attended nearby. But it's not the nicest, cleanest, or most modern hotel. And I feel like for the price point, you should have a better expense.

Pretty average motel. The room we were originally sent to hadn't been cleaned. Staff quickly sent us to another room. The facility is kind of shabby, the carpet especially. Moderately clean. But unfortunately what stood out was how loud it was. We were next to the ice machine and the elevator and stairs, and whoever was in the room above us - it sounded like a horse- was so loud walking really loudly back and forth until late. It took us hours to finally get to sleep. Maybe it was just the location? Don't say in RM. 108!!!

The property in Schoharie NY was poorly managed during our 2 night stay (12/6 to 12/8 2023). There was no milk for breakfast cereal, there were stale bagels left out. We had to ask the front desk clerk for milk, he acted like he didn't care. Plus on 12/8/23 morning ,he came out from behind the front desk wearing a t shirt and BOXERS! I Could not believe his appearance at the Schoharie N Y. Location. The staff acted like they didn't want to assist customers. We had to ring the front desk bell several times until the clerk came out to the front desk. I would not suggest anyone to stay at that Quality Inn and Suites in Schoharie NY. We were not satisfied at all! Corporate should investigate the condition of the motel and the staff. There were no security on the premise in case an emergency were to occur.. We did not feel safe at night. Expedia should investigate the location and take the motel off their list of N.Y. motels.....

The area was wonderful, next to some cute ice cream and breakfast places. We were looking for a quiet little getaway and this was perfect! The hotel was near empty, our main event, Howe Caverns is only a half-hour drive, and the view of the mountains is beautiful.

The Quality Inn & Suites Schoharie near Howe Caverns is conveniently located close to an Interstate Highway. There is a large gas plaza and convenience store close by. It is an easy drive to area attractions including the Iroquois Museum, Secret Caverns, Howe Caverns, and the Indian Ladder Trail at Thacher State Park. The facilities were well maintained. Everything looked and smelled fresh and clean, both in the public areas and in our room. The staff was exceptionally gracious and eager to please. The concierge at the front desk provided us with information on area eateries as well as attractions and activities we had not been aware of. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this Quality Inn if we were in the area again.

Property needs serious update. Furniture is old, chair in the room was all falling apart. The breakfast had almost no options - pancakes and tea. It is not the first time I am staying in this hotel, but it getting warse and warse.

There was a boil water or use bottled water notice in effect because the water was unsafe to drink. They should have provided clean water. There were no plates for breakfast and the response was that they were out. Of paper plates. I asked is we were supposed to eat the waffles off the table and she got us some plates. Staff acted as though we were an inconvenience.
