This property is in a quaint town surrounded by mountains. it's a 15 minute walk up a slight hill from the train station (if you don't have a car although i believe there is easy parking too). The room we stayed in was in the lower ground floor although still had beautiful views of the river and mountains. Rooms didn't have aircon but leaving the window open did not create any noise. The spa was fantastic and a welcome addition after a day of hiking. It was very spacious and plenty of room for people to relax in between steam room of ice buckets. The breakfast was plentiful and had sufficient vegan options too. Highly recommended

Sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet und nach dem Frühstück war das Zimmer (jeden Morgen) bereits wieder tiptop gereinigt. Bravo. Das einzige, kleine Manko war die Personenbeschränkung im Spa Bereich. Am späten Nachmittag kann der Andrang zu gross sein, um spontan Eintritt zu erhalten. (Ist man drinnen, ist es natürlich ein Vorteil.)

Great hotel with wonderful amenities included such as their spa, full breakfast with so many options and shuttle to skiing in Celerina. Everyone was so nice and helpful, plus they did speak a bit of English or other languages. Also, the local bus was very close to the hotel to take into St. Moritz. Will definitely stay here again when in the St. Moritz area.

Lovely large hotel, rooms are spacious, Spa is highlight of the stay. Breakfast has lots of choice including some gluten free options. Views are spectacular and a great easy to use shuttle to take you skiing.

This is a beautiful 19th century castle converted into a charming luxury hotel. The lobby & restaurants are piece of history. Rooms are renovated, bathrooms are very stylish. The staff are very polite and hard working. The breakfast buffet is delicious and dinner is fine dining a-la-carte menu with fantastic choices. The spa is very nice and the swimming pool is great. Free hotel shuttle to the ski area. Hotel offered me free room upgrade = thank you for the surprise and generosity !! I will definitely come back again !!

Excelente hotel! 70 metros do ponto de onibus e 1000 metros da estação de trem! Café da manhã maravilhoso! Spa gratuito todos os dias com excelentes piscinas e saunas. Confesso que pelos comentários negativos fiquei receoso em fazer a reserva, porém, não tenham medo, o Hotel é um clássico espetacular!

Um Hotel Spa incrível com uma super estrutura desde a recepção, passando pelo lounge até chegar nos quartos que são bem grandes, com vista para uma linda paisagem. O café da manhã é espetacular com muitas variedades de comida e bebida. O destaque deste hotel é o seu Spa (incluído na diária) onde podemos relaxar nas saunas e piscina aquecida após 1 dia inteiro de passeios, funciona até às 20h. A localização é excelente, tem um ponto de ônibus praticamente em frente que dá para locomover-se da estação de trem (607) e também diretamente para St.Moritz(602).

I had two rooms one for my parents and the other for me, my parents room had a public bathroom smell and we told them and they said they will check it the smell never went away and they did not change the room never!!!! The other room was okay but was noisy all the time!! you could hear the water from the drains in the top rooms like if they were next to you. The curtain blackout had a gap in the middle about 6inches wide every time a car pass at night the room got light up! would not recommend definitely would not be staying there again

Front desk people were not very friendly. Not easy to find out about ski room and no one helped with skis or getting in room. The walk there was not plowed or safe, very icy. The hotel van was not offered to us. Breakfast was good.

I really loved this property and truthfully cannot complain much about it. The area was beautiful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. My only downside was that not every employee treated me at the same level as some of the other guests. I believe this was due to my age. However, while checking in, the couple in front of me were given a lot of information regarding the spa, breakfast, ski shuttle, and more amenities. I was simply given the room key and had to ask multiple questions about the hotel and all it had to offer. Regardless, I enjoyed my stay and loved the hotel.

A calefação do quarto era ruim e acústica tb, o barulhão de pisada do quarto de cima parecia ser no nosso quarto. Houve um episódio bem desagradável, alguém consumiu o jantar no hotel e colocaram em nosso quarto, perdemos muito tempo para provarmos que não éramos nós, mostramos o comprovante do nosso jantar em outro local, mesmo assim chamaram o metri, q tb confirmou que não havíamos comparecido no restaurante, com esse atraso tivemos um prejuízo com táxi, devido a espera nos cobrou um valor maior. Não recomendo o hotel.

It's been nearly six months since my wife and I stayed at the Schloss Hotel & Spa Pontresina and I still find myself thinking about this wonderful hotel and spa! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Truly professional. I loved the old world charm of the hotel and dining areas. All of our meals were excellent and the service was outstanding! The concierge and front desk staff were so accomadating, friendly and professional. The concierge gave us excellent information on the hotel's amenities and the town of Pontresina. The maitre d' and dining room staff were also outstaanding! And of course. the snow coverd winter view from the hotel was incredibly beautiful!

O quarto era super confortável e banheiro era bom, tudo super limpo. Hotel com excelente estrutura, café da manhã ótimo! Funcionários excelentes! View from our room was amazing. Interestingly, we were on floor -1 and it seemed like an unwanted stepchild of floors. All the lights in our hallway turned on only when you entered it. The overhead lights, paint and carpet were all old school--real old school. It was a bit of a "Shining" moment each time I stepped into that dark corridor. This is a large, statuesque hotel. It could use some painting and additional care that a formidable building like this needs. But that can only be done in the summer months, so not casting any stones. All things considered, a nice experience and I\'m happy to recommend. If your primary destination is St. Moritz, I might suggest staying there. I found the Bus drivers and train personnel to be a completely unhelpful awful lot, and bussing it down to the station and over to St. Moritz sation was a considerable hassle (in my opinion) every day. That aside, the hotel experience was great. I would stay here again if my primary destination wasn\'t St. Moritz.

Very nice, affordable and clean hotel. We enjoyed our family stay with 2 adjoining rooms facing the river. Breakfast was very nice and the hotel was close to everything for us. The convenience to the bus stop was super!

The hotel is only 80m from a bus stop which you can take to St Moritz. Room was clean and tidy. Reception staff extremely helpful.

Located just outside St Moritz in a nice town. We had dinner just down the street, a fabulous breakfast in the hotel and left for the Bernina train back to Italy. Would love to explore Switzerland more in the future. The hotel is classy and elegant with great views and just a quick bus to downtown St Moritz

We only had about 14 hours there and wish we could have stayed longer. This is a grand old hotel that has been well maintained. The breakfast buffet was very elaborate and had made to order omelets with many pastries.

Lovely large hotel, rooms are spacious, Spa is highlight of the stay. Breakfast has lots of choice including some gluten free options. Views are spectacular and a great easy to use shuttle to take you skiing.

This is a beautiful 19th century castle converted into a charming luxury hotel. The lobby & restaurants are piece of history. Rooms are renovated, bathrooms are very stylish. The staff are very polite and hard working. The breakfast buffet is delicious and dinner is fine dining a-la-carte menu with fantastic choices. The spa is very nice and the swimming pool is great. Free hotel shuttle to the ski area. Hotel offered me free room upgrade = thank you for the surprise and generosity !! I will definitely come back again !!

Confesso que pelos comentários negativos fiquei receoso em fazer a reserva, porém, não tenham medo, o Hotel é um clássico espetacular!

Groot charmant oud hotel op prachtige lokatie. De staat is binnen wat gedateerd maar alles is schoon en netjes op de kamer. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is ongekend uitgebreid en geweldig verzorgd. Het restaurant voor het avondeten viel erg tegen, de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is daar niet in balans.

We had five wonderful days here and cannot comprehend the negative reviews, especially regarding the breakfast. Breakfast was full of delicious things and we really took our time in the morning to enjoy the meals. Staff has also been helpful and very friendly all the time. If you are thinking about coming here: Do it. You will not regret it!

Rammerne var gode. Personalet dygtige og serviceorienterede. Hotellet var dog koldt og tomt indrettet - som om der mangler møbler, udsmykning og stemning. Dinner restauranten var ikke værd at besøge. Mens morgenmads restauranten var virkelig god.

We got to the hotel early and dropped our bags off. The concierge was super, and gave us ideas of what to do in St. Moritz. He offered a taxi ride in the morning which would take 10-15 min for $70 CHF. We declined. When we came back the receptionist was not helpful, room was not that great, and we were given no information for dinner, wifi, etc. It felt like we were bothering her. Suggest staying elsewhere, for the amount of money you pay. At least get a good view.....
