Stayed 1 night

Staff was nice, our room was comfy. Breakfast had enough options to choose from. We arrived late and we were tired and hungry. We were surprised we could order pizza at the front desk. It was hot and yummy, just what we needed. We opted to drive past Fargo and stay here in Casselton. Glad we did. Not a crowded area, was easy to find. Was a nice quiet comfortable stay.

We stayed here for just one night while passing through, and it was fine for a quick stop. The biggest highlight was definitely the pool area—the water park was a fun surprise and a great way for the kids to burn off some energy after a long day of traveling. Our room was tidy and had everything we needed, and the bathroom appeared to have been recently updated. However, some details were overlooked, like molding coming loose from the wall and a sink that didn't appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. One thing that stood out throughout our stay was an unpleasant odor throughout the hotel. Unfortunately, the smell even lingered on our belongings for the drive home. We also noticed there didn't seem to be much staff around. While we weren't there long, we never saw housekeeping or many employees, which gave the hotel a somewhat unattended feel. But the two employees I encountered behind the desk were wonderful and very kind. Overall, it worked well as a place to sleep for the night, and the water park was a definite bonus. However, because of the odor and the overall condition of the property, I don't think it's somewhere I'd choose to bring my family back.

The hotel room was clean. Towels and pillows were a little thin. The room was quiet and comfortable. The remote to the TV was not functioning completely. Breakfast was adequate. Offered hot eggs and sausage, waffles, cereals, breads, muffins, and yogurt. Outstanding fitness center. We didn’t use the pool/waterpark, but it seemed to be clean and well maintained. I would stay here again.

The stay was okay. The room was in need of repair/maintenance/cleaning (shower head was not properly attached to the wall, dirty/dusty vents). The table lamp had, previous to our stay, been placed on the closet shelf, and was dirty. So we placed it next to the bed, where it should properly go, and cleaned it off as good as able. It worked, so unsure why it was where we found it. It just overall seemed like whomever maintained the room between stays missed many details. The Waterpark was fun for the kids but again, is in need of updates/repair. The ceiling paint is chipping, especially noticeable above the hot tub and pieces have likely fallen into the hot tub. Overall, an unclean feeling. Venting from the ceiling near the entry are caked with dust. These are things s that the hotel should look at because guests notice and it will affect if they book a return stay. The property as a whole looks unkept inside and out. The front desk staff were great and the breakfast was decent. No parking concerns. So overall, the stay was okay.
