Hotel located not far from Ipanema beach, surrounded by a good choice of eateries and bars. Hotel looks a bit dated. Bathroom was too small. Can be quite noisy with people coming out of rooms on the same floor. Worse was the noisy air conditioner in the adjacent room. One of the two available lifts/elevators kept developing a fault during our stay which made floor selection random! Breakfast was very good. Wi-Fi signal in the room was indifferent. Overall it was acceptable.

Front-desk (Eliabe) and porter (Rafael & crew) services were above expectation. Free buffet breakfast had all the desired items: bread, cereal, cheese, egg, meat, milk (no 2%-fat) and juice choices. The hotel, 2.5 blocks to the beautiful Ipanema beach, offers free carry-out beach towels. It’s located in Visconde de Piraja, where bakery, coffee/tea/wine, clothing, electronic shops abound. So many restaurant choices (Baked Paderia for coffee/pastry, Spettacolo Grill for lunch/dinner). One/two currency exchanges in the area.

This hotel is centrally located. It is close to everything. The breakfast has great options. Most of the front desk employees speak English. While I enjoyed the location, I did not feel comfortable in my room. I booked the premium room. I was on the 6th floor, and my room smelled. The towels provided to me were not clean-they had lent on them, and I had to go to the front desk to get new ones. The worst part of my stay was finding bed bugs on my bed. Once I saw the bugs in the room, I became extremely uncomfortable. The hotel is extremely dated. Not sure if I will ever stay there again. For the price they charge, the investor or owner can upgrade the hotel to make it more modern and cleaner.

Quarto confortável, mas banheiro muito pequeno. Precisa de manutenção. o Café da manhã é bom. No nosso quarto o ar condicionado estava pingando e no último dia alagou o chão. esqueceram de fazer a limpeza em dia e tivemos que pedir pra limparem o quarto. Não tinha os canais abertos na TV, e não conseguimos assistir nada pela internet. Informamos os problemas na recepção e não tivemos nenhuma resposta, nem um "desculpas e vamos melhorar". O hotel é muito bem localizado, espero que resolvam os problemas.

Ótima localização! Distante 2 quadras da praia e próximo a vários restaurantes. Café da manhã bom, com variedade de frutas, sucos e salgados. Limpo e com atendimento no geral. Infelizmente o ar condicionado do quarto era antigo e extremamente barulhento. Nosso quarto era com abertura para a Av. Visconde de Pirajá, o que causou incômodo também pelo barulho da avenida, mesmo no décimo andar.

Camas confortáveis, hotel ok. No primeiro quarto que recebemos, o ar condicionado tinha um barulho terrível. Reclamamos e nos colocaram em um com o ar mais silencioso, melhorou bastante. Chuveiro excelente. Café da manhã muito bom também. Não gostei do (aparentemente) gerente, um tanto quanto rude. No café da manhã, pedi gelo para colocar na garrafa térmica e exigiram o pagamento de um balde de gelo para isso. Saímos antes do horário do café da manhã, por conta do horário do voo, e não houve kit para levar ao aeroporto, embora todo o café já estivesse posto no salão - nesse ponto, achei ruim o atendimento ao hóspede. Enfim, um hotel confortável e bem localizado, embora não seja moderno e não tenha o melhor atendimento ao cliente. Custo-benefício médio.

The hotel was in a great location near Ipanema Beach, shopping and the subway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and in the back of the hotel off the main street so it was also quiet. The complimentary buffet breakfast offered a good variety.

Fantastic location - prime Ipanema and close to the beach. Friendly employees at the front desk. Good (complimentary!) breakfast. The rooms aren’t the nicest rooms ever, but they are totally fine, they have AC, and the cleaning staff cleaned the room daily and were very friendly. Overall good value for the price.

My overall comment is that the hotel is not worth the high price I had to pay. I did not try the bar nor the gym. But both these spots looked quite un-friendly and sometimes not even clean. The hotel is located in a fun area good for the beach lovers and the ambiance is not at all business friendly. Some of the staff speak English a little bit and it is quite difficult to communicate with most of them at the reception or in the restaurant for Breakfast. Also the breakfast, though with a large variety of dishes on display is not good as most of the hot dishes are not freshly cooked and I think are recycled over and over again. The same applies to pastries and croissants etc. For my departure to the airport on Sunday morning, the hotel arranged for a Taxi which was I think illegal and was trying to cheat me on the price and payment.

This is a clean friendly hotel , 2 blocks from beach, shopping galore near by. Easy cheap Ubers. Close to Metro, supermarkets etc. bed was comfy and air conditioning works great!!!! Also good free breakfast! This is typical European type hotel small room but charming hotel. Only thing that I would’ve preferred is a better window , my room looked into a court yard surrounded by high rise building so not much sunlight into room , but I didn’t spend much time in the room so ….. would highly recommend this place and definitely will stay here again
