Clean room, comfortable bed, staff very responsive and Sino was especially friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent from a small menu. We accidentally left our passports in the safe and they WhatsApp us and we got them back…whew! Street parking mostly but this B&B is in a quiet and clean neighborhood so it seems very safe. Somewhat walkable (uphill back) to waterfront and we ate some really good and cheap food there vs in town.

We made a last minute booking so took the apartment, it being the only room left. This is a delightful property with beautiful gardens and quirky decor. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable. We didn’t need the cooking facilities as we were able to have some delicious lasagne for the evening meal, and a lovely breakfast on the terrace. The staff were friendly and helpful. Marcia was very considerate of my current mobility issues, there being a lot of steps to negotiate!

Betty’s Boutique is a lovely building with quirky rooms and several communal areas to sit, including two bars and a lovely garden. We stayed in the Spa room which was nicely decorated and comfortable with a big bath & separate shower. The room had all the necessary amenities and was spotlessly clean. Marcia gave us a warm welcome on arrival and showed us around. We decided after a long drive to stay in for dinner and had the lasagna & garlic bread which was delicious. Marcia was more than happy to serve us an apple crumble afterwards even though we hadn’t ordered one. Betty’s Boutique is on the hill so it is a bit of a trek to get to town, however there’s plenty of parking in town and Ubers are readily available and good value. We would definitely recommend a stay at Betty’s Boutique.
