Beautiful property. The hallway smells great. Maybe one thing to point out - one, very slow elevator.😞

Boy, they do not have stairs to get from floor to floor. Elevator only. One Elevator only. Talk about a lot of waiting. Breakfast was not bery good. Lots of bread. Parking was great. Very clean place. Will stay somewhere else due to no stairs.

We were only there for one night before catching the ferry in the morning. Huge room, comfortable bed, quiet, and convenient underground parking. Nice free breakfast and an easy exit in the morning.

Indoor garage

Everything was awesome, other than when at night couldn't get out key to work for the parking garage. Everything else was awesome! I will be coming back again for sure. Tonight was very special and got engaged so have to say that it's a magical place! Will recommend it to friends and family!

Modern, clean and comfortable. Free parking in a garage that’s as secure as Fort Knox though parking on the street is just as safe. The night manager is an angel. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We were able to extend our stay and make use of the laundry services. We were able to get complimentary laundry washing pods at the front desk.

The staff was really wonderful and kind and made the stay really great. They even went above and beyond to help my son tie his tie right before we were headed to a wedding!

Unfortunately, our experience wasn't what we hoped. The room smelled musty, we had ants in the room (no spray or traps provided) and the bed was not comfortable. The breakfast provided was nice and the staff was for the most part pleasant. For what we paid for the room we expected more.

Property is easy to find and in a good area. Starbucks across the street as well as Safeway and a few other stores. The associate at check in was informative but did not seem happy to be there. My room was NOT clean. The couch had brown food or something wiped on it and in the bathroom was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the door. The shower had black hairs in it and the non-slip mat also had black hair on it. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed and the bed also had hair on it. I called the front desk and asked if it had been cleaned and he said he assumed it had. I told him of these issues and he offered to bring me a new mat. Never an offer for a new room or anything. I will not be staying here again. Luckily i brought my own blanket so i could sleep on top of the covers.

The rooms were dirty and the bed sheets had stains on them. Our room smelled like dry pee. It was a disgusting.

Property overall was nice. Need more of an eye of detail for cleaning. Found several pieces of small and large debris on floor that had been missed. The under rim of the toilet was bad. Bed presentation was nice, remaining room and bathroom presentation could improve. Breakfast and snacks were a nice touch

The hotel had the following issues: - The bathroom had ants (guess they know about it as there was an ant trap in the bathroom) - The toilet was a strange one; when you flush it the water in the bowl is HOT and therefor when you sit on the seat you really sweat - breakfast was just a pass; basically eggs and bagel - no one at the front desk after 10:00 pm I would give it a 3 and that is stretching it.

Elevator and bathroom were not cleaned properly .

Check in was fine. Front desk person was nice enough. Lobby nice. But when I went to bed (after hours), there was a booger looking thing in the sheets!! I have a photo and will send to management. It made it very unpleasant to think of sleeping in the bed! Eww.

Very nice looking building. The room is spotless. Everywhere is clean.I will definitely stay here next time I visit the Islland.

All good except the first room they provided had an odd odor, so they moved me to another room. Also, the room I was moved to had the previous renter's clothes in one of the dresser drawers. Otherwise it was very clean.

When we got to our room there was a used towel and bathrobe hanging behind the bathroom door. One of the handles on a dresser drawer was off. We had ants in the living area and our room was not cleaned and trash not emptied for the 3 days we stayed. There was no coffee maker in the room. Staff was nice but very few available. Breakfast options were very limited and milk had expired. Fruit was well past its best date. Subpar experience for us.

The bed was comfortable even though it was softer than I like. There are bedside lights so you can read in bed. The internet connection was a bit spotty--I think it can vary depending where you are in the building, because I haven't had this problem before. Sadly, the room had no cups suitable for heating up water for tea in the microwave. But these are available in the lobby.

The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the ferry and also across the street from coffee shop and restaurant and grocery store. The room was very spacious and had a nice little kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. Beds were comfortable. Nice touch with robes and slippers provided. I was pleased and would recommend this place and would stay here again!

Clean, good condition overall. Bed springs were a bit noisy.

My only issue was the bed. Not very comfortable, too soft, kinda sunk to the middle. Otherwise, clean property, nice staff. Breakfast was ok, not a lot of variety but then I am not a big fan of most complimentary hotel breakfasts in the USA.

Person doing the check-in was great. Friendly, happy, efficient, knowledgeable. Room was fine, but every time a heater came on in other rooms, there was loud humming in our room. Grout in bathroom floor needs to be cleaned. Convenient location. Hotel and guests were quiet; there was some traffic noise, but not terrible.

The rooms are old and need updating. Blackout curtains would help too.

Spotless facility and room. Comfy bed and block out shades for sleep. Accommodation for our after hours arrival. A really nice place. The only thing that could be improved would be less going to voice mail when you call in. This happened four times while we tried to arrange for late arrival. Wasted of our time.

Had a problem with our room, but the manager was quick and kind about fixing it and got us into a new room.

Staff was first rate. Went out of their way to help us out. Left something important in the room. Staff contacted me, and got my item in the mail that day. Couldn't ask for more .

I parked my car in the basement. In area they said was for handicap parking. It was not clearly marked. They said they tried to contact me while I was out with my team working. I never heard from them. So, the manager towed my car. I had to get a ride to the impound lot 45 minutes away. They charged me $1,250. Unbelievable. The hotel will lose a lot of potential income because I will not bring my team back to that place.

Janet was most hospitable and helped us in all areas - check in, cafe, etc. She was most welcoming and we would sure stay there again. Thank you, Janet!

Staff was warm and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. The amenities were provided and the lobby snack bar was great. Really appreciated how accommodating the staff was and how they handled a change in our reservation. Will definitely be back.

The gentleman at the front desk should probably not be working hospitality. He was not welcoming when I arrived. Put a form in front of me and seemed to be put out that I had arrived. He then proceeded to give me a room. I went to the room realized it was accessible and went back down to ask for another (not comfortable-like parking in a handicap spot). He then proceeded to tell me that , because I booked through a third party , that was the only room I could have. I told him that was not what I reserved and told him that I would call Expedia and have them work it out. A few minutes later he gave me the room that I reserved. The rest of the stay was fine though.

First let me say this location is IDEAL - lovely, clean, quiet, so comfortable with 99% of the staff genuinely friendly and helpful. That said, we arrived to an empty lobby (and virtually empty secured parking garage) at 3:36pm. We were met (greeted is too friendly a word) by a sullen young man at the front desk. After telling him my name and stating I was there to check-in for the week, he looked at me blankly and stated our room was not ready, said I was early and check-in was not until 4:00. He motioned to the sofa in front of the desk in the empty lobby where we sat until exactly 4pm when the clerk looked up from his computer and announced our room was ready. Seriously?! Despite staying all week, this hotel (siting local health regs) has signage stating housekeeping ONLY services rooms on request. How busy could they be? Off on the wrong foot. The larger issue is that the property has MAJOR problems with an antiquated magnetic strip keycard system - took 5 trips to front desk for demagnetization/key and/or key card replacement facilitated by Mr. Personality. Management was notified by Hotels.com about the front desk issue. Upon check out, manager and senior front desk staff apologized to me for lack of appropriate treatment and offered an appropriate service recovery. All said, I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Difficult to review this property. As noted, location and room were very nice. Check in staff were very nice. Unfortunately, the hotel still uses key cards with stripe for garage (only access to hotel after 10pm) and for room. We visited family who live on the island and returned via our car at 11:30pm. The key card did not work and we could not get into the garage to enter hotel. We went to front door where key card did not work and where we saw a phone number posted for late arrival/staff to meet or for emergency. We called this number 3 times and only got answering machine. We had to check in to another hotel! Quality Inn had wonderful night desk staff and a room so we checked in at 12:30 am- they gave us toiletries as we had nothing. Next morning, we saw that we had received a text at 2:30am stating, "See that you called. How can we serve you." Unbelievable! My phone was almost out of charge in am. This was a bad situation that could have been a real problem. In am, we went back to the Marshall Suites and spoke with the manager who apologized. No mention of how they could be of help now or... We asked for a refund which they gave us and moved to the other hotel. For us, it was a major inconvenience. I can only imagine if someone had medications in their room, health issues, or other important issues - could have been awful. How can a hotel still use old key card tech and not have a night manager on premise or at least one who answers call promptly?

Not overly impressive. Charged an early arrival fee even though room was ready. Surprised. They did allow a courtesy extension of check out.

Very convenient place to stay on Bainbridge. We were there for a couple of nights before a cruise. Walk to charming downtown area with shops and a great bakery is about 15 min. Grocery, pharmacy, and Starbucks right across the street. Excellent value for the rate. Very clean and quiet.

We have stayed here in years past and really like the location. There are grocery stores and other shops across the street and the hotel offers snacks and fruit, as well as some breakfast items. We found the room large and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The hotel was clean and in good condition, as was our room. My main complaints would be 1) NO COFFEE in the rooms! (what?) and 2) Mediocre breakfast offerings, which are very sub-par for rooms at this price point.

Everyone was really friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. I wasn’t really able to eat the breakfast as everything was very sweet and there wasn’t much protein available. Luckily there is a grocery store across the street so I was able to get some things and put them in the fridge.

Beautiful place. Quiet and clean. We enjoyed the Jimmy Dean sandwiches offered for breakfast, too!

We have stayed here several times and we are always happy with our stay. We also love the complimentary delicious breakfast and yummy complimentary afternoon snacks!!:)

Good, clean basic lodgings. Large rooms with microwave and mini fridge. Low water pressure, but great shower head that detaches and has various settings. Morning breakfast is *very* basic, but there’s a large Starbucks directly across the street. Great value for the money.

Very average. Decent enough combinations, large rooms. Lousy breakfast for price point. Overall not a particularly great value at all.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The place is clean, full of living plants and located in a perfect spot. The rooms are cozy abs clean. Breakfast is awesome and the evening treats are amazing! We love this place and will stay again!
