Tolles liebevoll gepflegtes Grundstück mit einem schönen Garten. Wir hatten ein kleines eigenständiges „Cottage“ das super sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet war. Es gibt um das Haus im Garten jede Menge Sitzmöglichkeiten die für alle zur Verfügung stehen. Das Frühstück bekommt man von der sehr netten, zuvorkommenden Hausherrin ans Zimmer gebracht. Tolle Croissants mit leckerem Café, etwas Obst und sowie etwas Käse und Joghurt ein perfektes „petit-déjeuner“. Rundum eine tolle Unterkunft die ich gerne weiterempfehle, es war perfekt und gern wären wir noch länger geblieben. Das Monets Garten unweit entfernt ist, ist natürlich auch noch zu erwähnen.

We loved this place! Rustic feel with all modern amenities. Bathroom was spacious and beautiful. Garden setting next to a brook. Veronique the host was wonderful and brought our delicious breakfast to our cottage. We would love to return and stay longer! Our favorite accommodations on our Rome to London vacation!

Fantastiskt mysigt boende i lugnt område. Vi bodde i gästhuset närmast ån. Rummen (2) var i mycket bra skick. Det fanns utemöbler med tillhörande parasoll på framsidan, och andra utemöbler på gräsmattan ner mot ån. Vi fick låna alldeles nya cyklar gratis. Veroniqua var en mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående värdinna. Hon skjutsade oss med bil till tågstationen, och ville absolut inte ha någon ersättning för det. Vi vill varmt rekommendera detta ställe!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und in einem topp Zustand. Das gesamte Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und wunderbar gelegen. Mehr als ideal für einen Ausflug nach Giverny in das Haus von Claude Monet, für welchem man sogar kostenlos die Fahrräder von Veronique ausleihen kann.

I would highly recommend staying here, Veronique was very accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious! The gardens around the bed and breakfast are gorgeous and very peaceful. She also was very kind to give my sister and I a ride to the train station when we were not able to find a taxi.

One of the best places we have stayed! A charming cottage with everything you could need set amongst a landscape of beautiful gardens. We had dinner on our lovely patio and strolled the many unique areas filled with flowers and garden art finally settling by the river with a glass of wine. Heavenly! Comfortable beds, large shower, small but efficient kitchen and good living space inside and out. Our host Veronique could not have been more lovely or helpful. We will return for a much longer visit.

This property is beautiful and pristine, with an expansive yard and gardens along a river. Just a few minutes drive from Giverny, the cottage we stayed in was right on the riverbank, with ample outdoor furniture to enjoy the setting. Inside was perfection, too — extremely clean, upscale decor, comfortable beds, and a huge modern bath and dressing room. Our charming hostess was extremely helpful and accommodating, and each morning she delivered a classic French breakfast to our door. Highly recommended!

We stayed at L'Oree de Giverney for 2 nights which should have been 3 but unfortunately we had car problems so were late arriving. Everything was just perfect! Our room was immaculately clean with a full kitchen, table and chairs, lovely large shower room and a private terrace. Guests also had use of a wonderful garden leading down to the river, and even bicycles to use. The bed was so comfortable and the area was so peaceful that we slept like logs. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, croissants, butter and home made jam, baguetts and cheeses. To be honest, there was so much we made a picnic for lunch. Veronique and her husband were excellent hosts, and very kind and understanding about our delay. Monet's garden is close by (would recommend pre-booking) and also a lovely town called Vernon. Near the gardens is a nice little riverside bar, and we ate at Parenthesis which was very good. We would definitely stay here again, and have already highly recommended L'Oree de Giverney to friends. We'd like to return later in the year to see the waterlilies - but we'll make sure we book well in advance !

This is simply an extraordinary B&B. The owner, Veronique, was welcoming and informative. The cottage was modern, artfully decorated and was situated above a scenic river. Everything was clean and the breakfast fresh and delightful. This is one of the best B&B’s we have visited. It is a true gem and that should not be missed on a trip to Giverny and environs.

BEAUTIFULL, for sure the most beautifull accomodation we have ever had. Clean, very tastefull furniture, beautiful garden near the river, very good bed, delicious bedlinnen, towels, delicious smell, super breakfast, very kind host, etc etc. We wil come back (with better weather 😉), en we will recommend this B&B to all our friends 💛💛💛. Absolutely charming and so very well appointed! The cottage had 2 bedrooms and a very large bathroom. We were greeted by the owner who showed us all of the necessary information regarding the property. Breakfast was hearty and delicious! It was just beautiful!

A beautifully situated property. Our "cottage" was well appointed, quiet and situated beside a river - very tranquil. Our hostess Victoria was terrific, very accommodating and prepared a tasty breakfast each morning with fresh baked goods. Our only regret was that we were unable to stay longer. Highly recommend and thank you for a great stay.

One of the best places we have stayed! A charming cottage with everything you could need set amongst a landscape of beautiful gardens. We had dinner on our lovely patio and strolled the many unique areas filled with flowers and garden art finally settling by the river with a glass of wine. Heavenly! Comfortable beds, large shower, small but efficient kitchen and good living space inside and out. Our host Veronique could not have been more lovely or helpful. We will return for a much longer visit.

Just a few minutes drive from Giverny, the cottage we stayed in was right on the riverbank, with ample outdoor furniture to enjoy the setting. We stayed at L'Oree de Giverney for 2 nights which should have been 3 but unfortunately we had car problems so were late arriving. Everything was just perfect! Our room was immaculately clean with a full kitchen, table and chairs, lovely large shower room and a private terrace. Guests also had use of a wonderful garden leading down to the river, and even bicycles to use. The bed was so comfortable and the area was so peaceful that we slept like logs. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, croissants, butter and home made jam, baguetts and cheeses. To be honest, there was so much we made a picnic for lunch. Veronique and her husband were excellent hosts, and very kind and understanding about our delay. Monet's garden is close by (would recommend pre-booking) and also a lovely town called Vernon. Near the gardens is a nice little riverside bar, and we ate at Parenthesis which was very good. We would definitely stay here again, and have already highly recommended L'Oree de Giverney to friends. We'd like to return later in the year to see the waterlilies - but we'll make sure we book well in advance !

Fantastiskt mysigt boende i lugnt område. Vi bodde i gästhuset närmast ån. Rummen (2) var i mycket bra skick. Det fanns utemöbler med tillhörande parasoll på framsidan, och andra utemöbler på gräsmattan ner mot ån. Vi fick låna alldeles nya cyklar gratis. Veroniqua var en mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående värdinna. Hon skjutsade oss med bil till tågstationen, och ville absolut inte ha någon ersättning för det. Vi vill varmt rekommendera detta ställe!

I would highly recommend staying here, Veronique was very accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious! The gardens around the bed and breakfast are gorgeous and very peaceful. She also was very kind to give my sister and I a ride to the train station when we were not able to find a taxi.

This was such a wonderful place to stay. It was like a little sanctuary and the gardens were beautiful, far better than the pictures show. Our room was adjacent to the river and it stayed a nice temperature in the room, even if it was hot or cold outside. The room itself was lovely and comfortable. The best bit however was the service. The host is lovely and accommodating, and the breakfast was amazing - cheese, bread, croissant, juice, coffee, tea, the whole french works - amazing!

Beautiful property and garden, immaculately presented inside and out and so peaceful. Every detail thought of and such a comfortable stay. The host was kind and welcoming, even helping me to buy a lovely strawberry cream cake for my husband's birthday as we weren't arriving until the shops were closed. Our only sadness was not having longer there. We definitely hope to return.

This was one of the most amazing stays I’ve ever experienced!! An ideal location just a few minutes from Monet’s Gardens. The hosts went above and beyond to make our visit the best it could be! They even offered us a ride into town since we didn’t have a car. The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The room exceeded expectations. It is very spacious, beautifully decorated, private and the kitchen is stocked with everything you could need. The breakfast was delicious and something we looked forward to every morning. I highly recommend staying here and promise you will enjoy it. I was especially grateful for the kind and lovely hosts. I will definitely be back again soon and have already shared the link with my friends & family.
