Upon arrival, I had to wait for someone to show up to check-in. We arrived at 8:15pm the pool was already closed, even though it said closes at 10pm. The lobby smelled like cigarettes a lot, even though I reserved a non-smoking room; everything smelled like cigarettes. The sink was not draining properly, I tried rinsing the coffee mug and water just sat in the sink. People were speaking loudly early in the morning. The breakfast was horrible. The waffle dough had a sour taste, it had gone bad. The biscuits had a bad smell and looked undercooked. Everything was not right to eat. There was no one at the front desk to speak to when we left.

Pool was closed. No elevator. Room is nice. Hardwood floors. Has refrigerator and microwave. Ac works.

Older budget property but felt clean. Has solid synthetic wood floor tiles rather than carpet. Beds and bathroom seemed clean. Next door to gas station and Subway sandwich stop. Has waffles, toast, oatmeal packets, gravy and biscuits, juice and good coffee for continental breakfast. Only one staff member overnight but they were very friendly and attentive. Was a relaxing travel spot used to break up a long trip. More economical than motels in more populous area but met our needs. Refrigerator but no coffee in room but you could get your own coffee at travel stop next door if that is an issue. Shower hot and strong water flow. Trucker and dog friendly. Pool charge of $8 if anyone in room cares to use it; we did not, so cannot comment on pool area. Apparently has a new owner October 2023 and they are doing some maintenance.

It was filthy and run-down, the air conditioning was broken, and they couldn't care less! The indoor pool was closed.

We booked this hotel under the impression that there was an indoor pool. When I called to ask about the pool they informed us that it was not working, but we could not cancel our booking. We chose to go else where.

Great service, cleanliness, and parking

The stay was fine though the lady at the counter I was paying seemed lost and untrained she talked way too low and acted as if it was an unconvinced when I asked her repeatedly to speak up because I couldn’t hear her. The room we first were booked smelt awful as if someone had smoked meth, there were cigarette buds on the floor under the bathroom counter as well so we asked for a different room. Second room was fine however the breakfast was cold and not many options to choose from. And not to mention I was told the pool would be open and it was closed the entire stay because of maintenance?!?! Absolutely disappointed considering I completely overpaid for the stay specifically for that, if ur gonna charge people the same rates as a four or five star hotel atleast have ur services and environment worthy of it.

Clean rooms plenty of parking and great staff

Checked in late and the overnight staff that night was very friendly and accommodating. Parking was convenient.

The pavement for that entire complex is uneven concrete and asphalt leaving areas unsafe for pedestrians and some vehicles.

Customer service was excellent. Hotel was clean and comfortable. We were unable to connect to the wifi but that wasnt a huge deal.

Smoke detector was taped over. The whole place feels like an ashtray. Non-smoking? Suuuuuure.

Rooms are run down and barren. Little to no counter space. TV is terrible. ROACHES. not disability friendly. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, but the owners are less than decent. Not worth the price.

The hotel is great! It’s my second stay in a week and both times I’ve been thrilled with the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. Walls are thin but it’s not any noisier than any other place. Will stay here again.

At first i thought the reviews were a bit exaggerated but once i checked in to my room the cigarette smell hit like a bus. The rooms were dirty, the floors and the sheets had stains... White stains. The bathrooms werent properly cleaned and poop from the last people still in the toilet. Read reviews before going anywhere and listen to them. Lesson learned.

We’ve stayed here several times over the past yr. I enjoy it. It’s a great price for a basic room. The few things that might bother people, especially light sleepers are the super thin walls, which is typical of a hotel. Our king sized bed has a metal frame and it was SQUEAKY! Any move you made it made noise. The name on the tv is super bright and the a/c is very loud. Strangely there was only 1 nightstand. Weird but not a deal breaker unless you have to put stuff on 2 nightstands. Anyway we’ll be staying there again but it might not be for everyone.

Bed was like a rock sleeping on a cot.

The beds in pictures looked good. But their beds had springs pushing up all over! Shower did work, after letting run.on hot forever it still sprayed luke warm. So shower was was a #1 at best. Vent in bathroom didnt work. Dirty bathroom floor, behind door was the worst. They did get tv working right on second night there. Rest floor in room was nasty as well, needed mopped!!! We left one night early. Really would not recommend this place. 👎

It was pretty blah. Next time I will head into Bentonville to stay. The TV did not work, but they moved us to a new room.

drove down 7 1/2 hours for us. Family emergency. I chose this hotel because it said on Hotels.com that it had a pool and a gym and that it was pet friendly when I arrived I was told that my ESA dog was going to cost an additional $12 a night. We also ended up in a smoking room because there were no rooms available at non-smoking. We are definitely not smokers, and the smell was very strong. In fact, it was so strong my clothes still smell like cigarette smoke after returning home, the toilet was plugged the whole time and we were constantly trying to get it to work without a plunger, there was no gym and the air conditioning decided to get stuck on heat in the middle of the night during 100+ degree temperatures. Although the service was great from the employees, I would definitely not recommend this because it just causes more stress for my situation than I already had enough going on. Rooms were not very clean and they did not have sufficient bedding on them. No overhead lights made lighting rough to work in. I’m not a complainer, but this was a horrible.

I paid for what I thought was a room with two queen size beds, but they were just full size making things really cramped with me and the kids. The bathroom door wouldn't close and latch. The building smelled like cigarette smoke. The room had the smallest TV one could possibly buy. The continental breakfast was bare minimum and terrible. My experience there was horrible.

Horrible Hotel, idiot's left an ozone generator running the entire time without my knowledge for 5 hours while I slept in the room, and the staff refused my request to speak with a manager or refund. I may have to sue them since that is a dangerous hazardous to your lungs and putting people lives at risk!!!

Very efficient check in.

Rooms quiet. Staff very helpful and make the stay pleasant.

It is an older motel, but they keep it in good shape. It is convenient for us to stay when seeing family.

Location was close to the interstate for convenience and at a great price.

Arrived late at night. Hotel seemed very safe. Nicest place on my road trip. Good deal for the price.

Rooms were clean. 30 miles away from where we were at for the day when they stated only 5 miles. Other wise it was ok.

It was the perfect location to meet up with some really good friends of mine.

Let me start by saying that lodging options in this city are very limited. If you want more options you are going to have to drive 30 min in either direction to Joplin, MO or Bentonville, AR. Anderson is a small, but friendly town, and everything closes fairly early around 9:00pm. The hotel has extremely friendly staff and are very welcoming. I checked in about 8:30pm and there were crumbs and bread crust on the front desk counter, likely from a previous customer that had not yet been noticed. The facility does not have an elevator so you have to take the stairs to the second floor. The stairways need to be vacuumed. The rooms are not high frills, but they are clean. It is next to a gas station and literally right off the highway which makes it very convenient to fuel up and get back on the road when you're leaving. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning which has more options than most including fruit, muffins, poptarts, cliff bars, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and juice. Overall, its a great place to stay on a budget or in a crunch. The beds are comfortable and clean and the staff is kind.

5th year to stay here for our annual float trip it’s been through 2 owners since we started coming but it’s a great tiny spot convenient to our staying needs

Not bad for a single night stay. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were really flat. Room had an animal urine smell. Shower has good water pressure and room was really clean otherwise. Check in was fast and easy. The free breakfast was biscuits and gravy, waffles, white toast or cereal. We went to the gas station next door and got breakfast. Also, no coffee pot in room nor at breakfast buffet.

The staff or rather, the family that owns and lives there is very nice. The room did have a couple of bed bed blood spatters on on the walls but I did not see any bugs in the room. The counters had not been fully wiped down in the bathroom and by the tv. The breakfast was really, really bad. I tried the biscuits and gravy but the sausage had turned. Then I tried cereal and the milk was bad... Overall, it was what I expected for $70 right outside of Bentonville.

When sleeping on the mattress, I couldn't tell if I was on a mattress or the floor. I would have been just as comfortable sleeping on a board. Saw two live bugs in the bathroom. They were not roaches, but they were bugs. I killed them. The toilet barely flushed. At breakfast, the options were very slim. Stale cereal with almost no milk left in the bottle. Waffles with no syrup. The biscuits and gravy were terrible. The biscuits were rock hard and tasted about 3 days old and the gravy was not good at all. Nobody seemed interested in restocking the milk container or the syrup. I left for a meeting at 8 am and returned at 9:30 and the maid had already been in my room even though checkout was not until 11 am. This doesn't make any sense since I had to open up another thing of soap and use up more towels because they took the ones I was using. Unfortunately, it's the only hotel in town and has zero competition and thus zero reason to want to improve. The check in clerk at night was very nice and did direct me to a great Mexican restaurant for dinner.

Staff were very friendly. Outside of the property was well maintained. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast selection was less than what we expected compared to other hotel brands we stay at. It did not include any eggs, bacon or sausage. Overall, we would stay here again.

The property is in need of some cleaning and general upkeep. We requested a non-smoking room but the hallway reeked of smoke. The floor in the room was dirty. Breakfast was terrible! They had 3 slices of bread and 2 mini muffins in the bread box, the waffle batter was so watery and the waffle maker did not completely cook the waffle. The juice was undrinkable. This property has gone down since our last visit
