Lovely place to stay, cosy room, food was nice in the pub and reasonably priced. Couple of not so great things, I’d paid to have breakfast which is continental only to find just a few cereals on the bar, waited over 15 minutes to be seated for breakfast but there was no staff to be seen so had to go without as I’d booked at 9am and needed to leave on time as I had an event to be at. Pillows in the room are a little flat also.

Room was clean today and comfortable. Stayed for 2 nights and ate both evenings. Not an extensive menu but the food was reasonably priced and tasty

Staff, food, beer and atmosphere excellent. Sadly we needed an early night but every time a door closed down stairs it made our room door vibrate loudly. We weren’t able to get to sleep until the pub downstairs closed. For this reason we wouldn’t stay again.
