Very convenient for what we needed, clean and comfortable. The only negative was that, being on the back, the room was not dark due to the brilliant lighting of the parking lot sneaking in over and under the curtains. Also the trucks pulling out in the wee hours of the morning but I don't think there's anything that can be done about that!

The place was perfect for us to stay for half way to our destination place. The reception was even kind enough to place our room where we can park our motorcycle in front of the room which is very conviencent. .

This is a decent place to stay if you are looking to save money. It is nothing fancy and could use some upkeep, but it is clean and safe. FYI, large trucks park in the big parking lot behind the motel, and some leave their engines idling for heat, so if you are a light sleeper, this might be an issue. It didn't bother me at all.

This is a cute, clean and comfortable hotel, especially for such a small town. It’s quite new. Beds are extremely comfortable. It has a few quirks though. First of all, this is the only motel I have ever been to where they don’t put blankets on the beds. You have to ask for them. They have a sheet and a coverlet about the weight of a heavy sheet. No problem as they will give you blankets if asked. The showers are terrible and there is no elevator. If you can’t easily carry your luggage up the steps, get a handicap accessible room on the first floor. The shower is so bad that I had to sit on the floor of the tub and rinse using a cup to dump water over me from the faucet. However, for the price and the lack of options, this is the better choice over the only other motel around.

The first room that we went into smelled of cigarette smoke and the bedding was not changed. There were crumbs still in the bed. The blanket was just folded over like it had been changed. I was given a new room. It was cleaner, but the beds were not in the best condition. They did not have any warm blankets? We had to go out and buy our own blankets. Every once in a while, you would smell strong cigarette smoking in our room. The person checking us in was very nice and very polite.

When we checked into the hotel are room was not cleaned there was drug-fanalia,food and trash left in the room from prior guest. Bed was not made. Bed sheets were wet. I was refunded for the room the following morning when management arrived.

It was dirty. The floors needed mopped. It wasn’t even really swept. There was a dirty used band-Aid under the tv stand. The floor tile was coming up in the bathroom. The sink and the tub were both clogged but house keeping did unclog the sink. The beds were really firm/hard and the pillows are on the flat side. Next time I will definitely be willing to pay more for a better hotel room.

Had two reservations each room was to be a king room but only one ended up being a king room. The other was a double queen room. Neither room was cleaned after the 1st night. The room that was a king room did not lock the desk clerk even came down and went inside. The room did the deadbolt, and I was able to open the door from the outside and all that was stated was that she wouldn’t let management know. After being gone all day when we returned, neither room could be opened via the outside entrance, and the double queen room could not be opened from the inside entrance and the desk Clerk had to come down and open the door to allow us entry and she stated that the card reader was down. I have stayed in this hotel for several times over the last 10 years and this day was the worst for noise from the trucks coming and going. I don’t know if it was the location of the room or not, but this is the first time I’ve ever heard trucks coming and going all night long. The room that was the king room did not have an extra blanket was not a good stay by far and most likely was my last day ever at this hotel. very disappointed.

This a clean place to sleep for a roadside hotel. Maybe I'm stuck in the past, but the price did not match the need to be a clean place to rest-meaning, this is what you would want to find when traveling as far as cleanliness and comfort, but the price was what I would pay for a comparable place in a desirable tourist location. Roadside stays should not be this expensive. That said, we had friends stay in other hotels in the area at the same price point and their hotel was dirty, so we did alright. The only actual complaint I have beside the price was the bed blankets were glorified sheets- super thin and not even remotely warm.

Upon check in to the room, I was electrocuted when touching an outlet that had a broken prong sticking out of it, thinking it was the light switch (in a darkened room). The key card entry took upwards of 10 times to work and open the door since the kickplate and door plate were loose. Also, my television did not work.. Lastly, the whole place smelled like stale cigarette smoke.

I booked this a hotel well in advance, and then got there, and they were not able to honour the booking. This was bad enough, but nobody at the hotel seemed to care . There was nobody at the front desk when we arrived, so we waited about 20 or so minutes, when the desk clerk showed up, there was no concern, no apology. Then , after she called the manager, and ignored me to see to others, I got a call from Travelocity to say that there had been a mix up with the booking. Look, these things happen ...they shouldn't,but they do! I'm quite prepared to accept that. What I found disconcerting was the absolute lack of concern, sorrow or apology by the hotel. Just an " it sucks to be you" attitude. Lobby looked dingy....so maybe it was a lucky escape.

The housekeeper they had on staff for the second floor needed some retraining or someone to check behind her, but once I went down and discussed it with the front desk staff it was handled right away which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3.

Gas station and food places are in walking distance. Staff were great and the manager Krystal was so amazing. I received blankets and any accommodation quickly. I highly recommend!

First I was mad when Hotels.com would not add a additonal nights stay to my existing 2 I had purchased. I had to do it manually online when they would not help over the phone. When I arrived at the hotel now I had to unload my stuff in the room, then pack back up and bring my stuff back after check in time to check in a 2nd time. Then they called me on my 2nd stay to ask if I can upgrade to a suite. The suite had 1 king bed. I reserved 2 beds for me and a friend staying here for the weekend for a reason. I asked for a roll out bed, they said they are not available. What it seems is this hotel cancelled my room, booked the 2 bed room to someone else. Now my friend had to get his own hotel and stay over an hour away. Day 3, I show up in a rush to try and use the bathroom in my room and the key card doesnt work. I had to go to the front desk 3 times until they got it right. Their program said my reservation expired. Due to all the hassels this hotel caused me, I cannot ever recommend it. It was also extremely overpriced.

Lost power the first night. I use a CPAP so I was unable to get any sleep. Power restored at 2am I had to be at work at 5am. Hotel denied any compensation. I will never stay here again. I typically never complain but this however was terrible. The hotel didn’t even offer an apology nor any type of compensation.

Front desk associate was very busy due to this being a big football weekend and I believe they were short-staffed. She was friendly and helpful even under these circumstances!

The long-haired man at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything in the bathroom worked well but the shower hot/cold handle felt loose like it was going to come off. The room was VERY quiet, and I slept well. When I checked in I got a 15% off coupon to use at the IHOP next door, which I did in the morning. I would stay at this EconoLodge again.

The parking area seems safe enough. I did not see the laundry area. I did not need to use it. The road back to the property is terrible! I would think Holiday Inn and Quality Inn could agree to pay for some of the expense of paving it.

We stayed here after a nighttime Penn State football game. It was on our way home and convenient to get on/off of the highway. There are eating establishments and gas/convenience store that are convenient to the Econlodge and the highway. We recommend staying here.

Gas station and food places are in walking distance. Staff were great and the manager Krystal was so amazing. I received blankets and any accommodation quickly. I highly recommend!

It's what I expected for this rate, so I wasn't really disappointed except that the only coffee option was in the lobby and it was the worst soap-watery awfulness I have had in decades. Other than that, nice and quiet and no difficulties. IHOP is right next door along with a gas station, so it was perfect for budget conscious travelers.

Maid service was not good. We had to go to office on the 3rd day to get clean towels. Never made bed and didn’t empty trash. We took it out ourselves. Staff in office was great.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and check out were quick and easy. The rooms were slightly dated but clean and comfortable. Our room had a tv, microwave and fridge. Outlets were sufficient for charging phones. Great coffee and tea in lobby. Being attached to Ihop and the mini mart were also very helpful.
